WHY CAN’T WE JUST BE OURSELVES

Why can’t we just be ourselves without worrying what other people think?

Why not, and why worry?
What other people think is not important, because it does not affect the progress of our soul.
We cannot exist as an oasis, but we need to know the thoughts of other people to cooperate and to share our joys with them in our daily life.

Yes, we can. Each person, as a rational being, must know himself, be himself, and save himself.

Each human being is free and independent in making his own destiny and be responsible for it. However, this does not mean that we can isolate ourself as an oasis. In fact, an oasis is also dependent on lots of other things for its flourishing existence.

Each atom is dependent on other atoms in the movement of the universe. A little kid depends on his parents, his relatives, his tribe and so on. As a rational being, a noble creature endowed with rational sense and free will, we MUST learn to understand the physical, social and spiritual laws, to conduct our life harmoniously with other things and beings.

Yes, on a high level of civilization now, we accept that no other people have the right to impose their thinking on us, as we not to interfere in their own lives. But, we cannot conduct our life without knowkedge and cooperation. Learning is required for our free living and also the freedom of other people. Yes, true knowledge is power, and ignorance is the source of all wrongdoings.

For human beings, knowledge and obedience to the law is the secret of freedom. He who ignores the traffic signs and regulations, will lose his freedom to drive his vehicle to any destinations as he wishes.

So it is our duty to learn the laws and observe them. We also have to encourage, not force, other people to do the same. Otherwise, the society would be in confusion, and nobody can be comfortable. The bees are created with the instinct to make perfect honey, but they have no capacity to change their conditions. We humans cannot make honey, but we can turn this earth into paradise – perhaps, not an ideal paradise, but probably a more beautiful globe, in which no individual is ignorantly oppressing any other individuals, or depriving his own freedom by rejecting the proper education. We will work in helping each other to make progress physically, mentally and spiritually, until a time when God decrees the revolutionary change for a higher level of civilization.
