What is a spiritual retreat? It is the placeless place where a person can communicate intimately with God. Since God is omnipresent, we don’t have to seek communication with Him in the wild and desolate plains, deserts, wildernesses and valleys. God is here, right in our heart.
What is the use of communicating with God? It is to listen to His Voice, to be assured of His Guidance and to do all things for the common good with certitude, serenity and blisfulness.
Some learning is required in order to know how to turn to one’s heart, to distinguish the Voice of God from the promptings of selfish desires, and most importantly, to translate His commands into reality.
Otherwise, we are condemning our lives in separation from God, in misery, in hell, here and now. Repenting is nothing but abandoning our vain imaginings and seeking for the divine guidance of God. On the Internet, lots of people are showing us their ways. They even sell their books at high prices with guarantee of refund if we fail!
I know no personal ways to teach or to sell; I wish that you seek for the ways of the Divine Messengers of God; and perhaps here is one of them:
