Mature people think globally. They even think the unthinkable and do the impossible. The Americans think globally also because their ancestors came to the US from all parts of the world. Hence, some people may have the impressions that globalization is Americanization. Moreover, the American language is used popularly on the Internet is also one of the reasons. Her economic power is still another reason….

Baha’u’llah says:

“Let your vision be world-embracing, rather than confined to your own self.”

Abdul-Baha, the Interpreter of Baha’u’llah’s Teachings, came to various cities of the US by Himself in 1912, and called the Americans to bring the Baha’i message to people everywhere in the world, and many Americans did answer Him positively. His talks in those cities were recorded in the Book entitled “The Promulgation of Universal Peace”. He says:

“Every imperfect soul is self-centred and thinketh only of his own good. But as his thoughts expand a little he will begin to think of the welfare and comfort of his family. If his ideas still more widen, his concern will be the felicity of his fellow citizens; and if still they widen, he will be thinking of the glory of his land and of his race. But when ideas and views reach the utmost degree of expansion and attain the stage of perfection, then will he be interested in the exaltation of humankind. He will then be the well-wisher of all men and the seeker of the weal and prosperity of all lands. This is indicative of perfection.”

These divine teachings clearly show that humanity are entering the Age of maturity, so they can see the global problems and tackle them wisely. Every day, new ideas and new measures have been proposed and the world organizations are concentrating efforts on improvement of the conditions of the planet.
