In my family, not all the members are learning the Words of God, so we have no common foundation and knowledge for consultation to reach unity of faith, of thought and of action. Each member is freely pursuing happiness – or even misery – in a different way. I try to teach my relatives lovingly, but I don’t impose my faith on them, or doing anything against their freedom of choice.
Only in the community of the Greatest Name we have the closest relationship. Because of voluntary and conscious obedience to God, we follow the same and divine ideal. In order to understand the Will of God and realize it, we recite the potent Greatest Name, we pray and we read the Word of God in the morning and in the evening. Through increasing knowledge, inspiration and experience, we make personal and collective progress every day.
The Word of God, revealed in the Writngs of Baha’u’llah, makes all things new. The old principles of the Unity of God, Unity of Religion, Unity of Mankind…are redefined and applied for the modern world in conformity with new spiritual laws.
An article like this cannot make clear of any points in the Revelation of God. Each individual among mankind will make independent investigation of truth and will realize it by oneself in one’s personal capacities and conditions. And the divinity is eloquently proved when individuals of various backgrounds, even being former opponents, become firmly unified in vision and in action, without depending on any earthly fetters.
Love, Unity, Peace, Justice, Progress…which shine more and more brightly in various local communities of the Greatest Name, become a great light guiding an increasing number of truth seekers back to the Paraclete, the Saviour, the Revealer of all truth.
Like Buddha, Christ and other Prophets before Him, Baha’u’llah has been opposed strongly by the world. And like Their influence, His influence permeates the whole world beyond all description and imagination of the wisest thinkers.
If you interest in looking for the divine ideal, perhaps you may try with reading some Writngs directly revealed by Baha’u’llah for this Age of human maturity.
