Yes, he saved me and my ancestors from ignorance, superstitions, prejudices…in the past.
Now, He comes again to teach us new things that we could not bear 2000 ago, such as World Unity, World Peace, World Civilization… I am deeply thankful to Him, relying on Him and praying that those who claimed to be his loved ones would rush to Him immediately.

It seems that the netzens have broader vision than the citizens of various countries. The netzens meet and converse with one another instantly about all universal matters without the limitations of time and space.

The WorldCup this year has initiated a strong movement of “One Goal” for all children to gain access to schooling. It is hopeful that this goal will be attained before the next WorldCup, which will wisely initiate a higher goal for our planet.

Yes, the Promised One of all religions has come. He opens man’s eyes to the global problems and He provides powerful means to solve them. World Unity, World Peace, World Civilization…are no longer utopic dreams, but they have become attainable goals. Let us rush to the Divine Educator of our Age to receive His guidance for learning and for efficient application.

And the Internet is truly the most efficient instrument, as Shoghi Effendi has foretold:

THE SACRED REALITY

The concept about sacredness varies widely from person to person.

Some people may consider all things visible and invisible as holy, while others may assert that nothing is sacred.

Generally speaking, legendary beings, inexplicable phenomena, imaginary powers, ancient traditions, dead people and things related to them are considered as sacred.

I humbly think that the inner heart – not the physical brain and heart – but the invisible reality called soul, spirit, mind, psyche, inner self – is sacred. It is this true and immortal self that directs and masters the destiny of a person.

Then, love is sacred. It is not the desire to own or to possess. This invisible reality urges the person to sacrify all for the benefit of the human race. This is the eternal tie between humans and God, and between individuals among humanity.

And supreme of all is the Creator of all worlds. He is Divinity, Love and Knowledge. The reflection of these divine qualities in (not within or without, above or below) the spiritual heart is expressed as an ever-advancing civilization on earth. It is like the virtual world is not within or without, above or below the computer.

Nowadays, with the analogy of man as the creator, the computer as an intelligent human, and the virtual world as the reflection of this low creation, we may have a clearer concept about man’s secularity and God’s sacredness.

The controversial expressions among humans and their creative products show that their intelligence is developing. The Unity in the whole existence of all worlds, from time immemorial to all eternity, shows that the Intelligence of God is One and Supreme.

Usually we want many things in our life. We want to be loved, to be respected, to be safe, to be healthy, to be wealthy, to be famous, to be powerful, to be happy, to be wise…and anything else that other people happily possess.

Why do we want so many things, and especially how to obtain satisfactory results, we don’t know!

The great brains in the past, and also in present, are working incessantly to explain, to teach, to guide, to coach, to sell… lessons for people who are confusing. I cannot summarise all these things on the Internet into this brief post. And it is of no use to do so.

What I want to make emphasis today is that, among numberless desires, the desire of self-expression is very strong and very cherished. We all want to say something, and we want some other people to notice it. We want to understand and to be understood. In the primitive age, we want other people to listen and obey. In this age of maturity, we want to enter the peaceful consultations and to attain mutual love and mutual respect in the building of a better world.

And today, there are two happy and lucky people: the asker and the answerer who know that their blogs are read! And hence, I come to the conclusion that the Internet is bringing happiness to many people. In olden days people don’t know how to satisfy this desire, but now in this Cybernatic Age, everybody can send freely, easily, with no fear of censure, any opinions into the virtual world and  enjoy the happiness that their opinions are read  by various individuals among millions of netzens. And if their opinions are truly valuable, their ideals will also influence tremendously the real world.

Christ came from the boundless Heaven, which is not affected by space and time. Nowadays, with His second advent, He opens our mind to cover all religions, all philosophies, all the highest fields of knowledge…in order that we will regain our station of the children of God. We are no longer limited by any geographic, religious or cultural barriers. Yes, look for Him in the New Heaven and New Earth.

Buddha means “bodhi”, wisdom.

Christ means “messiah”, anointed one.

Baha’u’llah means glory of God.

These divine Personalities are the same Holy Spirit Who manifests, from Age to Age, to tell all human beings that they are the children of God and teach them how to do the Will of God.

Let us read the Dhammapada, the Bible, the Kitab-i-Iqan, we will see that these Divine Educators unanimously and successively teach the same ideals:

All humans are equally free, noble and independent.

They should love God and love one another.

They should detach themselves from the material world.

They should think good.

They should say good.

They should do good.

They should make progress.

They should obtain the qualities of God.

They should sacrify themselves for the betterment of the world.

People who read none of these Books may think that They are only humans like us, and we are too busy to look for Their counsels.

People who read only one of these three Books may think that They are different, and this One may be higher than the Other.

People who read all these three Books, withtout attainment to the Principle of Progressive Revelation, may still waver for some more time about Divine Unity.

However, Buddha, Christ, Baha’u’llah…have all accomplihed Their Divine Mission assigned by the One True God. Please, start reading, perusing, studying these most precious Books that God have sent down for the human race, and making judgement with your own mind.

SELF DETACHMENT IS THE SOLUTION

Could jealousy become envy?

Jealousy/Envy is another problem I have. Don’t worry, I haven’t let it get to a point where I hope the person is harmed or destroyed because I won’t let it and because I’m not stupid. I deal with my jealousy with comparing myself to others and feeling sorry for myself because of what somebody has that I wish I had.

Perhaps, all is from lust. We want to possess everything, and we feel bad when other people can get more than us physically, intellectually and spiritually. It is a bit better when we want to gain in peace. But, learning to detach will be much better. We need something as means of existence to realize our destiny before God, like other people for their own destinies. Jealousy, envy, usury…only strengthen our attachment to physical means which condemn us to perish in dirt. The true destiny of a rational being is detachment from the creation in order to return purely to the Creator.

It seems that we all are born with love of gold and fun! We make the greatest effort to obtain gold, and we are ready to pay big amount for fun. Today, America is still an attractively glittering symbol of gold and fun. All other desires are weaker than these. Does detachment means that we should extinguish these desires? Ridiculous! Without gold and fun how can we live, how can the world exist and progress?

It is moral and dignified to work hard for gold. It is good to laugh and to share laughters among people of all races. Then, how do we solve the problem of poverty and suffering? This is a big headache for all philosophers, thinkers, educators.

Usually, we disappointedly rely on confusing human minds, instead of seeking the valuable lessons from the the wisest Educator. Yes, Buddha, Christ, Baha’u’llah… teach great lessons for self detachment, but we never spend time to directly seek for Their divine guidance.

13. O SON OF SPIRIT! I created thee rich, why dost thou bring thyself down to poverty? Noble I made thee, wherewith dost thou abase thyself? Out of the essence of knowledge I gave thee being, why seekest thou enlightenment from anyone beside Me? Out of the clay of love I molded thee, how dost thou busy thyself with another? Turn thy sight unto thyself, that thou mayest find Me standing within thee, mighty, powerful and self-subsisting.

It is really very hard to see, to meet, to understand the Baha’is, because there are now only about 6 million Baha’is among 6 billion people in the world’s population. Moreover, most of Baha’i activities are conducted silently and peacefully in the private houses. We have no priesthood, no special rituals, no particular apparels….Yes, how can you recognize one Baha’i, who appears like other laymen, among one thousand people?

Because of all these reasons, we are trying at the utmost to introduce the Baha’i Faith in the real world as well as on the Internet. None of us dare claim that we are knowledgeable about the Baha’i Faith, so we do not teach as preachers or religious leaders, but we only call people to read the Sacred Scriptures, which are freely and easily accessible on the Internet. In some cities, you can get the Books  and converse with individual Baha’is at the Baha’i centers.

One of the main Teachings of Baha’u’llah is the “independent investigation of truth”, so we don’t try to expand the Faith by coercing, converting or proselytizing. We strictly observe this principle, while the influence of the Divine Message of Baha’u’llah rapidly encompasses the whole world as the most widespread religion after Christianity, according to the Encyclopedia Britannica of the year 2000.

If this is the first time you hear about this religion, please make further investigation for your own self. It is regretful that a number of writers have publicized false information about it. Mature human beings of our days no longer believe or reject anything through hearsays. Each one uses her/his own eyes to see and her/his own mind to think. Even children do not blindly follow their parents.

WAGING PEACE

From time immemorial, human beings incessantly struggle for peace. The individuals struggle in two ways:

1. Fighting against the invaders from outside: This is very hard, but people are loosing and winning in intervals. There are relatively short peace and long peace.
2. Fighting against the lower self. The lower self always wins, and man has no moments of inner peace. He worries, he fears; then he dies in doubt, in grief, in horror.

In this Age of maturity of mankind, human beings are equipped with greater intellectual and spiritual powers, and many among the individuals have won their battles against nature. Science and technology enable man to overcome even the so-called incurable diseases and to prevent horrible pandemic. Men can fly like the birds and dive like the fishes to enjoy new pleasures in the immense universe.

However, many individuals also become more miserable with stress, depression, trauma…Science and technology cannot help in the struggle for inner peace. People turn in vain to cults, magics, miracles…for salvation!

This condition has been stated clearly by Baha’u’llah with the promise of His potent and divine assistance:

What “oppression” is more grievous than that a soul seeking the truth, and wishing to attain unto the knowledge of God, should know not where to go for it and from whom to seek it?

I humbly propose that you read this Holy Book of Baha’u'llah in order to gain true knowledge to win your inner war, which is also the personal war of all other individuals. Nobody can fight for other people in this internal war. People in the next generations will also wage peace to glorify their higher self in the love and guidance of God.

ALL PEOPLE CAN STAND ON THE SIDE OF GOD

If two soldiers from different country fighting against each other pray to god for help, who will god help?

Christ, The Bab and the martyrs win, because they stand on the side of God. They are alive in the memories of millions of people, while their killers have fallen into oblivion.

God is the Life-giving God, so He does not support people who kill.

God is Love, so He does not support those who hate.

God is the Creator of all worlds, so He does not support any person against the other, any group against the other group, any nation against the other nation.

When I do the Will of God, I know that I am standing on His side. The Will of God is revealed in the Holy Books brought down by His Divne Messengers, such as Buddha, Christ, Baha’u'llah….

When I pray to God, I don’t ask His assistance to satisfy my wishes, which are usually wrong.

I only pray God for my thinking and doing right, and He accepts it.

I only pray God for my patience under His trials, and He is pleased with this.

I only pray God for strength to win my weaknesses, and He helps me to make progress.

I only pray God for guidance to remember and to observe His commands, and He bestows on me the spiritual strength.

I only pray God for praising His Omniscience and Omnipotence, and He reveals His Book of Prayers and Meditations.

I only pray God for my thankfulness of His Divine Purpose in all things, and He opens my eyes to see the Divine Unity.

God does not stand on my side, but I stand on His side. Hence, I keep on learning to know Him and to attach to the cord of His Mercy. All people can sincerely, patiently,  and happily stand on the side of God, to do His Will, in His divine Way to manifest His glory eternally.

MOST PEOPLE ARE REGRETFULLY UNHAPPY

Do most people have no goals? No purpose? Are left with regrets that in retrospect are so foreseeable?

(Of course, if there were no regrets about it, then sure no need for goals or purpose, what a nice existence, at least for the one living it. But it is the regrets that trouble me. As pukirahe and plungesponge say, it seems to be the condition of our age to have all these abstract wants that somehow don’t form any coherent, satisfying actions)

It is really regrettable for them, but that is the condition of this Age. The sellers of physical means are making big noises that confuse people’s minds. There will be repentance after some more time in consumerism and in materialism. And more individuals will realize that nothing can satisfy their thirst for spirituality and divine truth.

This answer is accepted by the asker who was repented, but it is inevitably rejected by many other people. Nobody admit that they live purposelessly. Some say that they live to enjoy life or to pursuit happiness. Others may say that they live to struggle against evil. Others still may say that they live to build a better world.

But, if we follow closely the daily life of these people, we will see that they keep on changing their goals or drop them off at midway. Because, those goals are not chosen properly and planned carefully for realization. And, in fact, even best goals and best plans would also lead to no end.

I can say so, because I am a man of failure among these people.

Yes, it is clear that I cannot enjoy life as I wished.

Yes, I cannot annihilate evil as I tried.

Yes, I cannot build a better world as I claimed.

It is clearly a life of regret, of remorse, and thankfully…of repentance.

Yes, when I finally admit my failure, then humbly, patiently, sincerely redo my learning from the Divine Educator of our Age, I begin to realize that the purpose of all men is to perform the eternal command of the One True God:

“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength.”

The Will of God is not expressed by scientists, philosophers or preachers…, but by the Messengers of God in their Holy Books. This First Commandment is  recorded not only in the Torah, but in all the Sacred Scriptures throughout the history of all world religions.

As for why and how to achieve this purpose, each individual has to investigate the truth for himself and practice it in his particular circumstances with his own, noble and unique capacities.

Where does one fit in who believes in most of the Bahai faith but also believes Jesus’ Christ is the Way?

As a Baha’i, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Way. But Buddha, Khrisna, Moses, Muhammad, Zoroaster… are also the Way. If a religion becomes walls of separation, it is no longer a religion; like medicine, if it does not cure the sickness, it is no longer medicine.
Through any religion, if you learn to worship God wisely will all mind, soul and spirit, you are on the right Path. Otherwise, the bearing of any labels, or the following of any human philosophies, would lead to nowhere.
Here are some Baha’i basics for your consideration:

Founder
Baha’u'llah, a native of Persia, announced in 1863 that He was God’s Messenger for the Age. His teachings and Sacred Writings are the basis of the Baha’i Faith. He claimed his divine mission was to bring about the spiritual rebirth and the unity of mankind. He promised that this would lead to the establishment of permanent world peace and to the Kingdom of God on Earth.
Baha’u'llah proclaimed that God sends divine Messengers with teachings that enable humanity to know and worship God. These Great Manifestations, which have appeared throughout history at intervals of about 500 to 1,000 years, bring human civilization to ever higher levels of spiritual and material advancement. Baha’u'llah is revered as the latest in this long line of Divine Messengers, which has included Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Mohammed, Krishna, Buddha and Zoroaster.
Baha’u'llah was imprisoned, tortured and exiled, but continued to urge emperors, kings and other national leaders to reconcile and pursue world peace. He was born in 1817, died in 1892.
