How has astrology influenced major religions, if it has had any influence?

Astrology has nothing to do with religion. Astrology is human fabrication, religion is divine education and training.

The movement of stars, like the movement of all physical things in nature, has some influence on human life, but they have nothing to do with religion. The human soul is greater than the physical universe. Today, the hand under the command of the intelligent mind can break any planets, but the planet can do nothing to the human soul.
This is the Age that knowledge overflows like water covering all seas, but some people still satisfy with their own prejudices. They judge the world based on hearsay, imagination and rumour that suit their belief. When they believe that religion is right, they hate science; when they believe in science, religion becomes garbage in their eyes!
Each individual among them thinks that he is father, teacher, leader, and others are the ignorant masses. The world becomes a big mess because other people don’t listen to him!
In fact, most of us know nothing about religion, which is considered as bad product of the primitive ancestors, while religion is truly the mother of all science, art, trade. Without the guidance of religion, all people fall into the abyss where ‘the blind guide the blind’. Nobody can convince other people about this truth, except their own learning when their lives become completely miserable. It is here that men blame God for allowing sufferings to exist on earth!
I don’t try to convert or convince anybody with this blog. It is only a weak voice in the Cyber-desert to remind the sensible netzens that God already sends down His Messenger to tell us what is Religion, what is His Divine Education.
Here are some of those divine words of wisdom, that hundreds of books recorded by men cannot contain all their meanings:
“And now concerning thy question regarding the nature of religion. Know thou that they who are truly wise have likened the world unto the human temple. As the body of man needeth a garment to clothe it, so the body of mankind must needs be adorned with the mantle of justice and wisdom. Its robe is the Revelation vouchsafed unto it by God. Whenever this robe hath fulfilled its purpose, the Almighty will assuredly renew it. For every age requireth a fresh measure of the light of God. Every Divine Revelation hath been sent down in a manner that befitted the circumstances of the age in which it hath appeared.”
(Baha’u'llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha’u'llah, p. 81)
“Inasmuch as human interpretations and blind imitations differ widely, religious strife and disagreement have arisen among mankind, the light of true religion has been extinguished and the unity of the world of humanity destroyed. The prophets of God voiced the spirit of unity and agreement. They have been the founders of divine reality. Therefore if the nations of the world forsake imitations and investigate the reality underlying the revealed Word of God they will agree and become reconciled. For reality is one and not multiple.”
(Abdu’l-Baha, Baha’i World Faith – Abdu’l-Baha Section, p. 225)
“Consider how most animals labor for man, draw loads and facilitate travel; yet, as they are ignorant, they receive no reward for this toil and labor. The cloud raineth, roses and hyacinths grow; the plain and meadow, the garden and trees become green and blossom; yet they do not realize the results and outcome of all these. The lamp is lighted, but as it hath not a conscious knowledge of itself, no one hath become glad because of it. Moreover, a soul of excellent deeds and good manners will undoubtedly advance from whatever horizon he beholdeth the lights radiating. Herein lies the difference: By faith is meant, first, conscious knowledge, and second, the practice of good deeds.”
