WHAT IS THE MOST VALUABLE THING IN THE UNIVERSE?

What is the most valuable thing in the universe?

Asked By: jeffr 1 hour ago

Answer by pukirahe Aug 31st, 2011 at 5:29AM

The soul.
It is the greater world; it is the entity
that knows and loves God; it will return
to the spiritual realm of God.
And how grateful we are for equally being
endowed with this most valuable entity.
Moreover, God so loves us that He gives us
thousands of a Moses, a Christ, a Muhammad…
for our education and training.

Baha’u’llah says:

“Blessed is the soul which, at the hour of its separation from the body, is sanctified from the vain imaginings of the peoples of the world. Such a soul liveth and moveth in accordance with the Will of its Creator, and entereth the all-highest Paradise. The Maids of Heaven, inmates of the loftiest mansions, will circle around it, and the Prophets of God and His chosen ones will seek its companionship. With them that soul will freely converse, and will recount unto them that which it hath been made to endure in the path of God, the Lord of all worlds. If any man be told that which hath been ordained for such a soul in the worlds of God, the Lord of the throne on high and of earth below, his whole being will instantly blaze out in his great longing to attain that most exalted, that sanctified and resplendent station….” (Baha’u'llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha’u'llah, p. 155)

Abdul-Baha says:

“To express his gratitude for the favors of God man must show forth praiseworthy actions. In response to these bestowals he must render good deeds, be self-sacrificing, loving the servants of God, forfeiting even life for them, showing kindness to all the creatures. He must be severed from the world, attracted to the Kingdom of Abha, the face radiant, the tongue eloquent, the ear attentive, striving day and night to attain the good pleasure of God. Whatsoever he wishes to do must be in harmony with the good pleasure of God. He must observe and see what is the will of God and act accordingly. There can be no doubt that such commendable deeds are thankfulness for the favors of God.” (Abdu’l-Baha, The Promulgation of Universal Peace, p. 236)

HOW TO ATTAIN THE PRESENCE OF GOD?

How often do u read the bible? why or why not?

Very often, because it is one of the Books of God,
which are divine Light to guide mankind eternally
on earth and also in heaven.
The following are the Books, I often look for
the answers to problems of my life, of people
up here and anywhere else who need them:
The Bhagavad Gita, the Torah, the Vedanta,
the Dhammapada, the Quran, the Bayan,
the Iqan and the Aqdas….
Wishing that more and more people
will turn to divine guidance.

Abdul-Baha says:

“It is evident that we have two modes for the expression of life, – individuality and personality, – the former becomes as the son of God and the latter the son of man. As we have shown, the personality of some is illumined, that of others is dark; the personality of some is seen in the manifestation of divine justice, while that of others is the embodiment of tyranny. The personality of some is divine guidance made visible, while that of others is choked in the veils of self and desire.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 132)

ARE WE ALL REALLY EQUAL AS HUMANS?

Are we all really equal as humans?

Asked By: oddlyenuff 2 hours ago

Good Question? (3)

Answer by pukirahe Aug 30th, 2011 at 4:29PM

Some people are not aware about themselves,
they live by their superior or inferior complexes.
Others think that they are monkeys and they consider
other people are lower monkeys.
Others bear atheist label and they look down upon
the so-called brainwashed religious people.
Others bear the names of religions and condemn
other people to hell.
Others are helping poor people and consider them
as lowly beggars.
Others see other humans as sinners and they want
to destroy this world.
Others consider themselves as saviours of mankind
and they act as paid and unpaid masters.
So, seeing by physical eyes, we hardly behold the true
equality among all human beings.
With a little learning in the Holy Books,
I believe that all mankind are born
spiritually equal. They all have a soul which is truly
the greater universe. They have the power of
understanding to find in the Holy Books the secrets
to develop their spiritual potentialities, to become
equally the living beings in the “image and likeness of God”.
And at present, I see no education is equal to
this divine education.

THE FAITH OF BAHÁ’U'LLÁH

MANKIND IS IN DANGER

 “O people of the world!

The dawn of the Sun of Reality is assuredly for the illumination of the world and for the manifestation of mercy. In the assemblage of the family of Adam results and fruits are praiseworthy, and the holy bestowals of every bounty are abundant. It is an absolute mercy and a complete bounty, the illumination of the world, fellowship and harmony, love and union; nay, rather, mercifulness and oneness, the elimination of discord and the unity of whosoever are on the earth in the utmost of freedom and dignity. The Blessed Beauty said: “All are the fruits of one tree and the leaves of one branch.”

WHY ARE RELIGION THEMED QUESTIONS SO DIVISIVE?

Why are religion themed questions so divisive? What is the big deal?

Asked By: dauphine 1 hour ago

Answer by pukirahe Aug 29th, 2011 at 10:44PM

What is the question that is not divisive?!
All problems have myriads of answers, because
each man today is making his independent judgment.
Human beings are no longer submissive to dictators.
However, the omniscience and omnipotence of God will
lead free people to their unfied and glotious purpose in His love.

Baha’u’llah says:

“These are servants who abide beneath the shelter of the tender mercy of their Lord, and who remain undeterred by those who seek to obstruct their path. Upon their faces may be seen the brightness of the light of the All-Merciful, and from their hearts may be heard the remembrance of Mine all-glorious and inaccessible Name. Were they to unloose their tongues to extol their Lord, the denizens of earth and heaven would join in their anthems of praise — yet how few are they who hear! And were they to glorify their Lord, all created things would join in their hymns of glory. Thus hath God exalted them above the rest of His creation, and yet the people remain unaware!” (Baha’u'llah, The Summons of the Lord of Hosts, p. 6)

Skilful doctor.
I have criteria to choose skilful doctor,
but no criteria to make sure who is religious
and who is atheist.
As for faith in God, I pray for meeting the skilful doctor
and for conducting a better life myself.

Answer by pukirahe Aug 28th, 2011 at 5:42PM

I have just found the commandment of Moses
about honouring mother and father. This teaching
was given millennia ago, but we all, religious and
non-religious people do not learn and practice it.
So, we all complain that our children don’t behave
nicely!
What a pity and a misery for heedless people.

HOW DO WE HONOUR OUR PARENTS?

How do you tell an overly religious parent, that some of their views are unreasonable?

Asked By: flexswag 15 hours ago

My mother is so into religion, and it’s not that I’m not just not as crazy about it. Alot of what she says Is close minded and sometimes she uses it out of context. She see’s thing in a very old fashioned way and it’s starting to get in the way of our relationship. There are so many things I want to tell her about my life, as well as talk about her changing her views but she just won’t listen….. I keep getting she’s never gonna change, but honestly if she could just see things from my point of view maybe she could change I just don’t know how to do that, yet.

Good Question? (4)

Best Answer by pukirahe (Chosen By Asker):

Almost all parents, religious or non-religious,
are unreasonable, especially
in the eyes of their immature children.
This occurs again and again
generation after generation.
Yes, all parents are old-fashioned, but nowhere
it is told that their children can wisely judge them.
The children should be allowed to seek the truth
independently, but opposing parents is not
the way to truth.
We all need a proper education to make progress.
What is a proper education, that is another question!
