My parents ask too many questions , They dont trust me. How do I get them To trust me?

Because of their selfless and unconditional love,
parents used to trust their children without a little doubt.
They would be extremely surprised if their children
acted against them. Asking of questions is also a manner
to express love and care. The parents cannot show
suspicion when their children answer clearly and sincerely.
He whose parents cannot trust him should show more
love and obedience to win their parents’ hearts. If he fails with his parents, he may fail more easily with strangers.

The Bab says:

“It is seemly that the servant should, after each prayer, supplicate God to bestow mercy and forgiveness upon his parents. Thereupon God’s call will be raised: ‘Thousand upon thousand of what thou hast asked for thy parents shall be thy recompense!’ Blessed is he who remembereth his parents when communing with God. There is, verily, no God but Him, the Mighty, the Well-Beloved.” (The Bab, Selections from the Writings of the Bab, p. 94)

Abdul-Baha says:

“Also a father and mother endure the greatest troubles and hardships for their children; and often when the children have reached the age of maturity, the parents pass on to the other world. Rarely does it happen that a father and mother in this world see the reward of the care and trouble they have undergone for their children. Therefore children, in return for this care and trouble, must show forth charity and beneficence, and must implore pardon and forgiveness for their parents.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Baha’i World Faith – Abdu’l-Baha Section, p. 329)

Everybody can be a good person, if he learns to know exactly
what is good and sincerely practices it.
Labels or observations of other people cannot alter his worth.
My personal learning tells me that to do the Will of God is good.

Abdul-Baha says:

“He who has the consciousness of reality has eternal life – that lamp which can never be extinguished. The humble peasant girl, Mary Magdalene, – to what splendor she attained! A wise man sees no satisfaction in the material world; he is not content to be one of the creatures. In the world of divine effulgence he finds eternal life and becomes aflame with the fire of the love of God, the great source of life of the immortal kingdom and his head is adorned with a crown of eternal jewels.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 57)

Some of the main reasons:
1. The priests can no longer hold exclusive knowledge,
especially about morality, spirituality, salvation.
2. Some churches have become corrupted.
3. Religious ceremonies have become funny, ridiculous,
wastefully artificial.
4. Believers have more choices for learning, spiritual progress,
becoming more virtuous and more knowledgeable than priests.
5. Believers become more busy with secular activities and interests.
6. New generations of people are detached from their ancestral traditions.
7. In fact, salvation is not confined within religious sanctuaries….

I am thinking how to make mention about the love of God.
Knowing that my words cannot tell the Truth, therefore I
keep on asking people to read the Holy Books.
Never these BOOKS are accessible freely and easily
as in this age of the Internet. Wishing that nobody
will miss this great chance.
