WHY DOES GOD TAKE THINGS FROM US?

Why does God take everything away from us?

By taking, God is giving us a new cycle of life.
It is like planting, harvesting and planting again.
For the cow every day are the same.
For man each day is a new step of advancement,
a new harvest, a new and greater life cycle.
See how marvelously different is the virtual world in
this century to the last century. And see man’s great steps
forward in art, science and technology.
Only morality is somewhat gloomy,
but it will be brightened with the speed of light
in this Age of human maturity.

Abdul-baha says:

“The meaning of eternal life is the gift of the Holy Spirit, as the flower receives the gift of the season, the air, and the breezes of spring. Consider: this flower had life in the beginning like the life of the mineral; but by the coming of the season of spring, of the bounty of the clouds of the springtime, and of the heat of the glowing sun, it attained to another life of the utmost freshness, delicacy and fragrance. The first life of the flower, in comparison to the second life, is death.”(Abdu’l-Baha, Some Answered Questions, p. 242)

DO YOU WANT TO DIE?

Do you want to die?

NO, because I know surely that nothing dies.
Physical things only change their forms.
Spiritual realities exist eternally.
He who thinks about death only disappoints himself.
When his body comes to earth, his soul will bitterly regrets.
All people need not think how to live, but they should
learn how to live as rational beings, as true children of God.

Abdul-Baha says:

“We must now realize that we are the servants of one God, that we turn to one beneficent Father, live under one divine law, seek one reality and have one desire. Thus may we live in the utmost friendship and love, and in return the favors and bounties of God shall surround us; the world of humanity will be reformed; mankind, enjoy a new life; eternal light will illumine, and heavenly moralities become manifest.”(Abdu’l-Baha, The Promulgation of Universal Peace, p. 66)

WHAT IS PERFECTION?

What is perfection?

Good Question? (3)

Answer by pukirahe Oct 29th, 2011 at 6:04PM

It is said that practice makes perfect.
But perfection in robbery is not good.
Perfection must be in spiritual powers.
However, man’s perfection is very limited,
hence the perfections of Peter cannot
place him on the station of Christ.

“With fixed and steady gaze, born of the unerring eye of God, scan for a while the horizon of divine knowledge, and contemplate those words of perfection which the Eternal hath revealed, that haply the mysteries of divine wisdom, hidden ere now beneath the veil of glory and treasured within the tabernacle of His grace, may be made manifest unto you.”(Baha’u'llah, The Kitab-i-Iqan, p. 16)

WHY BE THANKFUL TO GOD FOR CALAMITIES?

Have you ever thanked God for unanswered prayers?

Asked By: PrincessMaine 4 hours ago

I have a lot of serious reasons right now for asking this question…
Ummm…sorry was looking for serious answers..I’m going through a very difficult time…

Good Question? (6)

Answer by pukirahe Oct 29th, 2011 at 5:14PM

I am thankful to God even for calamities.
When I asked God for wisdom, He did not
answer; I thankfully realized that wisdom is not
a thing to give, but a mental ability to be developed.
When I asked God for detachment from worldly temptations;
He put me in prison for nine years,
and I thankfully realized that it was the period of time
I served best His Cause. In those nine years
I have taught nine Baha’is. (While in seventy five years
of my life, I have not found seventy five sensible souls
to deliver the Divine Message.) Yes, how happy and thankful
were my days in prison.

Baha’u’llah says:

“The Qur’án was an impregnable stronghold unto the people of Muhammad. In His days, whosoever entered therein, was shielded from the devilish assaults, the menacing darts, the soul-devouring doubts, and blasphemous whisperings of the enemy. Upon him was also bestowed a portion of the everlasting and goodly fruits — the fruits of wisdom, from the divine Tree. To him was given to drink the incorruptible waters of the river of knowledge, and to taste the wine of the mysteries of divine Unity.” (Baha’u'llah, The Kitab-i-Iqan, p. 200)

Baha’u’llah says:

“Fear God, and debar yourselves not from Him Who is the Dayspring of His signs. This shall, in truth, but profit your own selves; as to your Lord, He, verily, can afford to dispense with all creatures. From everlasting was He alone; there was none else besides Him. He it is in Whose name the standard of Divine Unity hath been planted upon the Sinai of the visible and invisible worlds, proclaiming that there is none other God but Me, the Peerless, the Glorious, the Incomparable.” (Baha’u'llah, The Summons of the Lord of Hosts, p. 50)

WHERE WOULD WE MEET?

If we were in real life, where would i most probably meet you?

Asked By: behemoth 21 minutes ago

Answer by pukirahe Oct 29th, 2011 at 2:16PM

We all meet in the worship of God.
It is said that: love is not to look at one another,
but to look toward the same direction. So when
we turn our mind heavenward to worship God,
we will enjoy eternal bliss in the Divine Guidance
and Divine Unity.

Baha’u’llah says:

“In this station the truth of the unity of God and of the signs of His sanctity is established. Thou shalt indeed see them all rising above the bosom of God’s might and embraced in the arms of His mercy; nor can any distinction be made between His bosom and His arms. To speak of change or transformation in this plane would be sheer blasphemy and utter impiety, for this is the station wherein the light of divine unity shineth forth, and the truth of His oneness is expressed, and the splendours of the everlasting Morn are reflected in lofty and faithful mirrors.” (Baha’u'llah, Gems of Divine Mysteries, p. 31)

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF LIFE?

What is the purpose of life. why are we here?

Asked By: Michael65 1 hour ago

Good Question? (3)

Answer by pukirahe Oct 29th, 2011 at 1:47PM

The purpose of life is to live purposefully,
and perhaps purposelessly.
A stone lives purposelessly as stone.
A plant lives purposelessly as plant.
A monkey lives purposelessly as monkey.
A man may also live purposelessly as monkey.
All men may live purposefully as man.
Seven billion human beings on earth may think of
the purpose of life in seventy billion ways
and may realize them differently.
In the Holy Books, the Messengers of God teach that
the purpose of man is to know and to love God.
The true believers keep on studying the divine teachings
to know themseves, to know God and to know how to
realize this eternal love.
So, this realization may differ among believers,
because each individual has his own free will
to choose the teachings, to understand them and
to practice them in different ways and conditions.
It seems that, God is guiding mankind mysteriously,
so millions of people may differ in practice but unify in
strong faith about the same light of Divine Unity.

Baha’u’llah says:

“And when this stage of the journey is completed and the wayfarer hath soared beyond this lofty station, he entereth the City of Divine Unity, and the garden of oneness, and the court of detachment. In this plane the seeker casteth away all signs, allusions, veils, and words, and beholdeth all things with an eye illumined by the effulgent lights which God Himself hath shed upon him. In his journey he seeth all differences return to a single word and all allusions culminate in a single point.” (Baha’u'llah, Gems of Divine Mysteries, p. 24)

Has understanding power
To know his purpose
