Answer by pukirahe Dec 29th, 2011 at 4:12AM

I need complete, enlightened, powerful…. help from religion
for all matters of my life.
For the development of my mind and soul, I turn to religion.
For solving the problems of my family, I turn to religion.
For conversing with people about the problems of the world,
I turn to religion….
And I am sincerely thankful to God for His divine guidance
to make my life full of hope, happiness, and progress.

Baha’u’llah says:

“With unswerving vision, with pure heart, and sanctified spirit, consider attentively what God hath established as the testimony of guidance for His people in His Book, which is recognized as authentic by both the high and lowly. To this testimony we both, as well as all the peoples of the world, must cling, that through its light we may know and distinguish between truth and falsehood, guidance and error.” (Baha’u’llah, The Kitab-i-Iqan, p. 201)

Knowledge will show the meaning of things
Knowledge in physical education shows meaning of physical things.
Knowledge in human education shows meaning of human activities.
Knowledge in Divine education from the Supreme Intelligence,
shows meaning and purpose of the boundless universe.
Therefore, each of all human beings should go through education,
to seek for the meaning of life in his own interest and capacity of learning.

Abdul-Baha says:

“It is evident therefore that man is in need of divine education and inspiration; that the spirit and bounties of God are essential to his development. That is to say, the teachings of Christ and the prophets are necessary for his education and guidance. Why? Because they are the divine gardeners who till the earth of human hearts and minds. They educate man, uproot the weeds, burn the thorns and remodel the waste places into gardens and orchards where fruitful trees grow. The wisdom and purpose of their training is that man must pass from degree to degree of progressive unfoldment until perfection is attained.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Foundations of World Unity, p. 77)

Okay, because billions of people also don’t know.
But it is a big question we have to get the correct answer.
To be a celebrity, a billionnaire, a sage, a peasant, a scientist,
a philosopher, a priest, a hermit, a beggar, a top leader for
generations….?
But how to achieve it? Then for what? And then is it really
good for you as a human being?

Abdul-Baha says:

“Should the occasion arise, all that they possess would be freely given in order to unfurl the banner of the solidarity of the human race over the religions of the east and the west, so that all differences might be annulled and all peoples from one end of the earth to the other might sing in accord the song of life and peace, that it might be borne on the wings of light to the throne of the father, there to be blended with the symphonies of the heavenly angels and thus heaven and earth become harmonized with the golden strains of the music of unity.
Be it known that there is but one foundation to the religion of God. The apparent differences have come through ignorance. Words differ but the purpose is one.”

Christmas, it is truly a big waste of time and money.
It is even worse when added with Santa Claus
and long days out of work until New Year.
Things will become ok, when people spend these
days in deeper rememberance of Christ and practice
of His Teachings concerning love, peace, justice….

Abdul-Baha says:

“Who is the Christ? When one sees the Christ qualities shining from another source, one must recognize that light. We see this flower is exquisite; we do not see that it is the only beautiful one, for beauty is of the divine effulgence that is universal and unlimited in its manifestations. The marvelous bestowals of God are continuous. Should the outpouring of light be suspended, we would be in darkness. (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 33)

Baha’u’llah says:

“78. O SON OF MY HANDMAID! Quaff from the tongue of the merciful the stream of divine mystery, and behold from the dayspring of divine utterance the unveiled splendor of the daystar of wisdom. Sow the seeds of My divine wisdom in the pure soil of the heart, and water them with the waters of certitude, that the hyacinths of knowledge and wisdom may spring up fresh and green from the holy city of the heart.” (Baha’u’llah, The Persian Hidden Words)
