Baha’u’llah says:

“Delight not yourselves in the things of the world and its vain ornaments, neither set your hopes on them. Let your reliance be on the remembrance of God, the Most Exalted, the Most Great. He will, erelong, bring to naught all the things ye possess. Let Him be your fear, and forget not His covenant with you, and be not of them that are shut out as by a veil from Him.” (Baha’u’llah, The Summons of the Lord of Hosts, p. 202)

Good Question? (4)

I cannot and I don’t like to answer all questions,
but I think that all questions should be answered.
Each esteemed asker always wishes so much to
receive new food for thought and this wish is legitimate.
So let all doors be open to all askers and answerers
in order that love and peace may developed among
people of diverse cultures and diverse levels of knowledge.
Praise be to all noble human beings
who are endowed with the power to ask questions.

Baha’u’llah says:

“Consort with the followers of all religions in a spirit of friendliness and fellowship.” Whatsoever hath led the children of men to shun one another, and hath caused dissensions and divisions amongst them, hath, through the revelation of these words, been nullified and abolished.” (Baha’u’llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha’u’llah, p. 94)

HAVE YOU HAD AN ANSWERED PRAYER?

Have you had an answered prayer? And how do you pray?

Good Question? (3)

Answer by pukirahe Jan 19th, 2012 at 4:48PM

I pray not for blessings, but for thankfulness,
because God has given me more than I ask!
He gives me the world of revelation and creation.
He gives me and accomplishes His Covenants through His Messengers.
He gives me Holy Books to discover His Divine Education.
And now He is giving me the Internet to update my learning…
I pray by reciting and meditating based on the sacred verses from God.
What else should I ask from Him?

Abdul-Baha says:

“If the members of a family are perfectly united it will add to their comfort and joy. If the people of a city are inspired with civic unity the whole community will advance. If the inhabitants of a great continent become one spirit in different bodies marvelous progress will be made and if the people of the entire globe are welded into one great commonwealth the prayer, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as in heaven,” will be a reality for each will have the kingdom within himself.
What sublime happiness! What God-inspired progress! What a heavenly ideal! What a divine disposal!” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 183)

Definitely yes. We should seek for him the best physician and pray for his recovery. Usually, God makes miracles through doctors, in order that people will not think of belief in miracles as superstition.

That’s clever of him. That way it’s completely impossible to tell a miracle apart from an expert physician doing his job well. So even fewer people will believe he exists, and the rest of them will go to hell! Yaay!

Abdul-Baha says:

“We are ever looking for some miracle, some proof — for the Christ life as viewed from the outside seems so simple; yet could there be anything more dramatically miraculous than this: to establish peace in the hearts in the midst of a warring world? This kind of peace BAHA’U’LLAH calls the “most great peace.” To establish this kingdom in the hearts — verily, it is the unrealized dream of the planet!” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 11)

ARE YOU LEARNING HOW TO LOVE GOD?

I love God, shouldn’t that be enough?

Asked By: AvaWeiss 13 hours ago

Good Question? (3)

Answer by pukirahe Jan 19th, 2012 at 2:56AM

That might be more than enough, but how
our love to God can be enough!
By personal experience, I feel that I have failed to love as I should:
I have not reflected His beauty with my words and deeds!
I have not served mankind as His beloved children!
I am not patient under His training for greater progress!…
I think that I should learn more about His Will and try more
to obtain His good pleasure.

Baha’u’llah says:

“32. O BEFRIENDED STRANGER! The candle of thine heart is lighted by the hand of My power, quench it not with the contrary winds of self and passion. The healer of all thine ills is remembrance of Me, forget it not. Make My love thy treasure and cherish it even as thy very sight and life.” (Baha’u’llah, The Persian Hidden Words)
