No countries should be run by religion,
it should be guided by its wisdom and justice.
Pole Star does not run the world, it gives the world
its brightest light.
The mature humanity of this Great Age will embark on their
spiritual journey with no more attachment to the world and its vanities.
Our civilization will become divine civilization.

Abdul-Baha says:

“How long shall we drift on the wings of passion and vain desire; how long shall we spend our days like barbarians in the depths of ignorance and abomination? God has given us eyes, that we may look about us at the world, and lay hold of whatsoever will further civilization and the arts of living. He has given us ears, that we may hear and profit by the wisdom of scholars and philosophers and arise to promote and practice it. Senses and faculties have been bestowed upon us, to be devoted to the service of the general good; so that we, distinguished above all other forms of life for perceptiveness and reason, should labor at all times and along all lines, whether the occasion be great or small, ordinary or extraordinary, until all mankind are safely gathered into the impregnable stronghold of knowledge.” (Abdu’l-Baha, The Secret of Divine Civilization, p. 3)

Greater wisdom and more abiding peace will come after 2012.
Because, with greater learning on the Internet and matuirty in spirit, mankind will solve satisfactorily most ot our challenging problems.
Just see, Internet buzz has stopped US legislators’ plan from imposing restrictions on freedom of speech and of expression.
Yes, be assured of our great powers for positive construction.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Now the new age is here and creation is reborn. Humanity hath taken on new life. The autumn hath gone by, and the reviving spring is here. All things are now made new. Arts and industries have been reborn, there are new discoveries in science, and there are new inventions; even the details of human affairs, such as dress and personal effects — even weapons — all these have likewise been renewed. The laws and procedures of every government have been revised. Renewal is the order of the day.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Selections from the Writings of Abdu’l-Baha, p. 252)

YOUR THINKING ABOUT THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON?

Is anyone going out this weekend to celebrate the Year of the Dragon?

Yes, millions of people in the Orient are happily and miserably
ready for the Year of the Dragon. And millions of people from
the Occident are opening eyes to laugh and to learn new lessons.
Miserable are poor people who don’t know why they suffer so
much shortage while others waste lots of money in harmful
plays and pleasures. And learning new lessons are those who
realize the emptiness of life with its ridiculous imitations.
Blessed are people who make new their own life.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Our meaning is this: the religion of God is one, and it is the educator of humankind, but still, it needs must be made new. When thou dost plant a tree, its height increaseth day by day. It putteth forth blossoms and leaves and luscious fruits. But after a long time, it doth grow old, yielding no fruitage any more. Then doth the Husbandman of Truth take up the seed from that same tree, and plant it in a pure soil; and lo, there standeth the first tree, even as it was before.
