HOW TO MOTIVATE MYSELF?

How to motivate myself?

Know yourself and be yourself,
this is most powerful motivation.
Know that you have free and independent spirit,
that needs be developed by your own learning.
Then with accurate knowledge, you will shape
your own destiny based on your own potentialities
and circumstances.
Other people may advice you, but nobody
can really help, Yes, you are your master.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Direct thine attention to the holy Tablets; read thou the Ishraqat, Tajalliyyat, the Words of Paradise, the Glad Tidings, the Tarazat, the Most Holy Book. Then wilt thou see that today these heavenly Teachings are the remedy for a sick and suffering world, and a healing balm for the sores on the body of mankind. They are the spirit of life, the ark of salvation, the magnet to draw down eternal glory, the dynamic power to motivate the inner self of man.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Selections from the Writings of Abdu’l-Baha, p. 61)

IS VIOLENCE EVER NECESSARY?

Is violence ever necessary? If so, when? If not, why isn’t it?

Asked By: rolanalphred 1 hour ago

Answer by pukirahe Jan 26th, 2012 at 3:27AM

Nobody wishes to receive violent actions.
We think that they should be used to train other people,
and history shows that this thinking is completely wrong.
We all love knowledge, wisdom, justice… which are the sweet
fruit of education for a better and more civilized world.
Sooner or later, we will banish all torments, retaliations, wars…
and beautify our planet with ornaments of sweet specch,
warm fellowship and positive cooperation for collective progress.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Some of the creatures of existence can live solitary and alone. A tree, for instance, may live without the assistance and cooperation of other trees. Some animals are isolated and lead a separate existence away from their kind. But this is impossible for man. In his life and being cooperation and association are essential. Through association and meeting we find happiness and development, individual and collective.” (Abdu’l-Baha, The Promulgation of Universal Peace, p. 35)

WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH OMNIPOTENCE?

If you could be God for a day, what would you do?

Asked By: BrodyBear 36 minutes ago

Answer by pukirahe Jan 26th, 2012 at 2:51AM

I would deprive humans from their freedom of choice.
I would destroy them all if they complained.
I would allow monkeys to evolve as humans.
I would allow them to kill themselves like wild beasts.
I would say “Be” and all creation functions again normally;
and I begged God for forgiveness to my childish imagination.

Baha’u’llah says:

“Art thou able to express thyself when brought face to face with the billowing ocean of Mine utterance? Canst thou unloose thy tongue when confronted with the shrill voice of My Pen? Hast thou any power before the revelations of Mine omnipotence? Judge thou fairly, I adjure thee by God, and call to mind when thou didst stand in the presence of this Wronged One and We dictated to thee the verses of God, the Help in Peril, the Self-Subsisting. Beware lest the source of falsehood withhold thee from the manifest Truth.” (Baha’u'llah, Tablets of Baha’u'llah, p. 75)

Yes I am when I was 20.
No I am not now at 76.
Then, yes always when we both take refuge
under the wings of the celestial phoenix.
But, what is the use of being man and woman
without fulfilling our mission:
serving the beloved children of God!

Abdul-Baha says:

“Today I am most happy, for I see here a gathering of the servants of God. I see the white and colored people together. In the estimation of God there is no distinction of color; all are one in the color and beauty of servitude to him. Color is not important; the heart is all-important. It matters not what the exterior may be if the heart be pure and white within.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Baha’i World Faith – Abdu’l-Baha Section, p. 267)

Answer by pukirahe Jan 25th, 2012 at 4:33PM

Only God is Reality.
Humans become realities when they learn to know
and to love God.
Yes, and all else are illusions.
This learning may require years of prayers and meditations
or only one breath with the spirit of faith.
God alone provides all His children with
this divine education.

Abdul-Baha says:

“This century is the century of the oneness of the world of humanity, the century of justice; this century is the century of universal peace, the century of the dawn of the sun of reality; this century is the century of the establishment of the kingdom of God upon this earth; therefore let us grasp every means to promote the federation of the world, that we may become the recipients of the divine outpourings.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 172)

WHAT CHRIST WOULD LOOK LIKE?

Year of the Dragon 2012, Day 4

It is really good that we have more and more questions about religion.
And the Internet is so useful that it promptly shares answers to people everywhere. They who sincerely seek for God, will find Him.
Christ looks like Christ in Jerusalem, and we look like the fishermen
and the Pharisees. The fishermen are spreading His Cause,
and the Pharisees are opposing. And His New Teachings are causing the world to turn into Paradise, which becomes more visible in this Year of the Dragon.
He who has eyes will see.
