It is really good that you are asking just when I am
coming back from dead bed after 3 days
of expensive treatment.
Life is very, very precious. People are working to death
to earn money for preserving life at all costs.
Now you have life, laugh out loud for it.
Now you can seek for friends on EP, be happy with it.
Go out, and assist a person who is more miserable than you
(there are lots of them around you now), and be happy with
your greater destiny.
Then keep on looking for more miserable people to help them,
you will realize how great is your destiny as a human being,
especially in this Age of World fellowship.

Abdul-Baha says:

“It is a common existence, comprehensible to the human mind, is not ancient, is dependent and hath a cause to it. The mortal substance does not become eternal and vice versa; the human kind does not become a Creator and vice versa. The transformation of the innate substance is impossible.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Selections from the Writings of Abdu’l-Baha, p. 61)

HOW TO MOTIVATE MYSELF?

How to motivate myself?

Asked By: richellnavarro 1 hour ago

Answer by pukirahe Jan 26th, 2012 at 3:52AM

Know yourself and be yourself,
this is most powerful motivation.
Know that you have free and independent spirit,
that needs be developed by your own learning.
Then with accurate knowledge, you will shape
your own destiny based on your own potentialities
and circumstances.
Other people may advice you, but nobody
can really help, Yes, you are your master.

“Direct thine attention to the holy Tablets; read thou the Ishraqat, Tajalliyyat, the Words of Paradise, the Glad Tidings, the Tarazat, the Most Holy Book. Then wilt thou see that today these heavenly Teachings are the remedy for a sick and suffering world, and a healing balm for the sores on the body of mankind. They are the spirit of life, the ark of salvation, the magnet to draw down eternal glory, the dynamic power to motivate the inner self of man.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Selections from the Writings of Abdu’l-Baha, p. 61)

IS VIOLENCE EVER NECESSARY?

Is violence ever necessary? If so, when? If not, why isn’t it?

Asked By: rolanalphred 1 hour ago

Answer by pukirahe Jan 26th, 2012 at 3:27AM

Nobody wishes to receive violent actions.
We think that they should be used to train other people,
and history shows that this thinking is completely wrong.
We all love knowledge, wisdom, justice… which are the sweet
fruit of education for a better and more civilized world.
Sooner or later, we will banish all torments, retaliations, wars…
and beautify our planet with ornaments of sweet specch,
warm fellowship and positive cooperation for collective progress.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Some of the creatures of existence can live solitary and alone. A tree, for instance, may live without the assistance and cooperation of other trees. Some animals are isolated and lead a separate existence away from their kind. But this is impossible for man. In his life and being cooperation and association are essential. Through association and meeting we find happiness and development, individual and collective.” (Abdu’l-Baha, The Promulgation of Universal Peace, p. 35)

WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH OMNIPOTENCE?

If you could be God for a day, what would you do?

Asked By: BrodyBear 36 minutes ago

Answer by pukirahe Jan 26th, 2012 at 2:51AM

I would deprive humans from their freedom of choice.
I would destroy them all if they complained.
I would allow monkeys to evolve as humans.
I would allow them to kill themselves like wild beasts.
I would say “Be” and all creation functions again normally;
and I begged God for forgiveness to my childish imagination.

Hast thou any power before the revelations of Mine omnipotence? Judge thou fairly, I adjure thee by God, and call to mind when thou didst stand in the presence of this Wronged One and We dictated to thee the verses of God, the Help in Peril, the Self-Subsisting. Yes I am when I was 20.
No I am not now at 76.
Then, yes always when we both take refuge
under the wings of the celestial phoenix.
But, what is the use of being man and woman
without fulfilling our mission:
serving the beloved children of God!

“Today I am most happy, for I see here a gathering of the servants of God. I see the white and colored people together. In the estimation of God there is no distinction of color; all are one in the color and beauty of servitude to him. Color is not important; the heart is all-important. It matters not what the exterior may be if the heart be pure and white within.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Baha’i World Faith – Abdu’l-Baha Section, p. 267)

Only God is Reality.
Humans become realities when they learn to know
and to love God.
Yes, and all else are illusions.
This learning may require years of prayers and meditations
or only one breath with the spirit of faith.
God alone provides all His children with
this divine education.

Year of the Dragon 2012, Day 4

It is really good that we have more and more questions about religion.
And the Internet is so useful that it promptly shares answers to people everywhere. They who sincerely seek for God, will find Him.
Christ looks like Christ in Jerusalem, and we look like the fishermen
and the Pharisees. The fishermen are spreading His Cause,
and the Pharisees are opposing. And His New Teachings are causing the world to turn into Paradise, which becomes more visible in this Year of the Dragon.
He who has eyes will see.

Answer by pukirahe Jan 25th, 2012 at 5:03AM

I believe in God with conscious certainty.
In 50 years, I have convinced many people
to believe in God and none could cause me to doubt.
I am assured about my faith, because all the Prophets
and saints wisely believe and obey God.
I see no proofs of wisdom in the saying, writing and doing
of secular people.
God’s love is evident to me in my observations of everything.

The chief of the monarchs of love is wronged by the people of tyranny and the dove of holiness lies prisoned in the talons of owls. This Year of the Dragon 2012 is very special.
The West was enjoying nearly one month of relative peace.
The East only passes through three happy days of Lunar New Year.
Nowhere there is yet any sign of threat, peril or apocalypse!
It seems that I am almost right to foretll that this Year is the time
for high Hope, great Achievement and marvelous Progress.
Man’s Mind will win over Money, and we will build world peace
based on maturity, spirituality and divine guidance.

IS MAN’S MIND SUPERNATURAL?

Do you believe the supernatural exists? Why or why not?

Asked By: ForgottenMuse 5 hours ago

Good Question? (6)

Answer by pukirahe Jan 24th, 2012 at 4:44PM

Man’s mind is supernatural:
Each mind is an unfathomable mystery.
It fears nature and it tries to master nature.
It claims to be natural and it confesses its powerlessness.
This is the Year it has to prove Itself or Money will win.
Yes: Mind and Money, which is supernatural?!

Reply by ForgottenMuse Jan 24th, 2012 at 4:54PM

but the mind is just the chemical processes of a physical brain

Reply by CalhounBlake Jan 24th, 2012 at 8:11PM

the mind is indeed a physical organ of which we know many chemical reactions, however, we don’t know how it really even works, or what consciousness entails or how it arises. the mind is not simply a biological and chemical reaction.

Reply by pukirahe Jan 24th, 2012 at 9:25PM

You are right. The mind is not physical. It is spiritual power commanding the activities of the brain, where we see chemical reactions. The mind is commander of all human activities, physical, mental and spiritual.

Reply by ForgottenMuse Jan 24th, 2012 at 9:33PM

How did you arrive at “spiritual power”?

Reply by ForgottenMuse Jan 24th, 2012 at 9:34PM

just curious

Reply by pukirahe Jan 24th, 2012 at 9:54PM

“All these sacred words show us that man is made in God’s image: yet the Essence of God is incomprehensible to the human mind, for the finite understanding cannot be applied to this infinite Mystery. God contains all: He cannot be contained. That which contains is superior to that which is contained. The whole is greater than its parts. (Abdu’l-Baha, Paris Talks, p. 23)
