HOW DID YOU COMMIT TO A RELIGION?

Did you commit to a religion as a young/grown adult or did you receive your faith through indoctrination as a child?

The word “religion” can be replaced with “Belief”

I committed to religion as an adult, in 1960.
My wife and my children also became
Baha’is by their own investigation of truth.
By reading the Holy Books, I know
consciously that the Holy Spirit appears
from Age to Age as Messenger of God to
educate mankind progressively about
the boundless love of the living and just God.
I have given details about my religion on EP
as well as on my blog at wordpress.com.

Abdul-Baha says:

“A new chapter in the life of the planet has been opened. Humanity has attained its maturity, and the race consciousness has awakened to the fact that it must put away the childish things which seemed necessary in the day of the “survival of the fittest.” This day “wherein the feet of the people deviate” is to be followed by a glorious to-morrow; for — “This is a new cycle of human power. All the horizons of the world are luminous and the world will become indeed as a garden and a paradise. It is the hour of unity of the sons of men and of the drawing together of all races and all classes.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 12)
