Good Question? (7)

Money.
Many of the haves keep it usuriously,
sometimes illegally, perilously…
Many of the have-nots give most of precious
things for it: life, health, love…
Others forget joys, pleasures, happiness…
in vainfully seeking for it.

Baha’u’llah says:

“51. O SON OF MY HANDMAID! Be not troubled in poverty nor confident in riches, for poverty is followed by riches, and riches are followed by poverty. Yet to be poor in all save God is a wondrous gift, belittle not the value thereof, for in the end it will make thee rich in God, and thus thou shalt know the meaning of the utterance, “In truth ye are the poor,” and the holy words, “God is the all-possessing,” shall even as the true morn break forth gloriously resplendent upon the horizon of the lover’s heart, and abide secure on the throne of wealth.”

i am being tormented by an evil spirit ive had my whole life

Answer by pukirahe Mar 17th, 2012 at 11:13PM

Tormented by an evil spirit?
If it is embodied as a person, bring him to court.
If it hides somewhere in your mind, throw it out.
Know that you are more powerful than all
evil spirits, that are in fact non-existent.
I pray that you will see powerful ways to win over
in this battle.
This is how I am praying:

AID AND ASSISTANCE

O Thou Whose face is the object of my adoration, Whose beauty is my sanctuary, Whose habitation is my goal, Whose praise is my hope, Whose providence is my companion, Whose love is the cause of my being, Whose mention is my solace, Whose nearness is my desire, Whose presence is my dearest wish and highest aspiration, I entreat Thee not to withhold from me the things Thou didst ordain for the chosen ones among Thy servants. Supply me, then, with the good of this world and of the next.

Thou, truly, art the King of all men. There is no God but Thee, the Ever-Forgiving, the Most Generous.

(Bahá’u'lláh, Baha’i Prayers, p. 16)

WHY DID JESUS CHOOSE DEATH OVER LIFE?

Why did Jesus choose death over life?

Good Question? (11)

Answer by pukirahe Mar 17th, 2012 at 9:32PM

Because life is real and death is non-existent.
This is the lesson for human beings who fail
to realize that light is real and darkness is non-existent;
heat is real and cold is non-existent;
knowledge is real and ignorance is non-existent.
We blindly fear non-existent things like fearing ghosts!
If we read the Bible, we will understand that Christ
is not living or dying; He is pre-existent. If we practice
His lesson of self-effacement, our soul will become
a sovereign ancient, imperishable and everlasting.

Abdul-Baha says:

“These insects wishing to pass from my side of the stream to the other in order to procure some food, threw themselves forward, each one trying to emulate the other in flinging itself into the water, so that a bridge was formed in order that the others might pass over and this was 188 accomplished; yet those who gave themselves as a bridge finally perished. Consider how much solidarity makes for life as compared to the fighting for self interest which destroys it.”

We offer them this passage from the Pen of Bahá’u'lláh:

“Blessed is he who in the prime of his youth and the heyday of his life will arise to serve the Cause of the Lord of the beginning and of the end, and adorn his heart with His love. The manifestation of such a grace is greater than the creation of the heavens and of the earth. Blessed are the steadfast and well is it with those who are firm’.”

Year of Dragon, Day 56

The world will end, because:
People are rushing to war.
Bad thoughts are widespread.
Laziness is encouraged…
in the minds of pessimistic individuals.
But, in reality:
Physical elements eternally exist.
Human souls eternally exist.
The love of God exists from time immemorial
to the end without end.
Hence, end of the world is pure fancy.

FREEDOM EQUALITY WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT?

Freedom equality what is more important.?

Asked By: boblack 4 hours ago

Good Question? (4)

Answer by pukirahe Mar 17th, 2012 at 5:15PM

True knowledge is more important.
When we know how to save ourself from the prison
of self, freedom is more important.
When we know that all human beings are the children
of God, and treat all with mutual love and mutual
respect, then equality is more important.
If we have no knowledge, and consider humans as
equally monkeys that freely make funs, then freedom
and equality are horrible!
As for true knowledge, we can learn from the
Holy Books which are freely and equally accessible
to all searching minds on the Internet.
