HOW MORALITY IS MAINTAINED?

Do people who sin really get punished by God or is it just a way of making people stick to their morals?

Year of Dragon, Day 54

His torments are mysteriously real and fearful.
He assigns to no one for enforcing His Laws,
but each individual will himself know how to
observe His commands and getting His rewards.
This is why morality is maintained throughout
history all over the world, while human beings
are clever enough to avoid all human legal systems!

Abdul-Baha says:

“All the Prophets have come to promote divine bestowals, to found the spiritual civilization and teach the principles of morality. Therefore, we must strive with all our powers so that spiritual influences may gain the victory. For material forces have attacked mankind. The world of humanity is submerged in a sea of materialism. The rays of the Sun of Reality are seen but dimly and darkly through opaque glasses. The penetrative power of the divine bounty is not fully manifest.”

Year of Dragon, Day 52

I have met many religious leaders,
whom I sincerely love and respect.
They say lots of good things and bad tthings like me.
Good things: let us think good, say good, do good.
Bad things: my religion is exclusively true, celibacy
is pure, polygamy is acceptable…
I ask God questions and answers, by reading the
Holy Books revealed by His Divine Messengers,
such as the Kitab-i-Iqan, the Bhagavad Gita, the Dhammapada….

What is the use of this repeted Zen cliche!
There are still lots of new statements in the ancient Holy Books.
