I really enjoy and tweet the talks up here,
especially those of successful women,
who are changing the world.
Wishing that more and more people
will follow the talks up here to have a newer
vision concrening our civilized world..
I have placed its link on my Blogroll.

They are incredible. I went to a TED-x (all day TED talk, essentially) about becoming extraordinary and was truly amazed. Except for the interpretive dance bit as I find it (interpretive dance) ridiculous.

Abdul-Baha says:

“The noted historians of Europe, in describing the conditions, manners, politics, learning and culture, in all their aspects, of early, medieval and modern times, unanimously record that during the ten centuries constituting the Middle Ages, from the beginning of the sixth century of the Christian era till the close of the fifteenth, Europe was in every respect and to an extreme degree, barbaric and dark. The principal cause of this was that the monks, referred to by European peoples as spiritual and religious leaders, had given up the abiding glory that comes from obedience to the sacred commandments and heavenly teachings of the Gospel, and had joined forces with the presumptuous and tyrannical rulers of the temporal governments of those times.” (Abdu’l-Baha, The Secret of Divine Civilization, p. 86)

IS IT GOOD TO BE INVISIBLY BEAUTIFUL?

Is it more important to be beautiful on the inside, or outside?

It seems that the invisible beauty on the outside
is more important than the visible beauty from inside.
For example, the ugly beggar who quietly helps a poorer child
is more admirable than a pretty girl praying in public.
This is the Age that human beings can contemplate
invisible beauty.

Baha’u’llah says:

“The whole world hath been set ablaze by the Word of thy Lord, the All-Glorious, a Word softer than the morning breeze. It hath been manifested in the form of the human temple, and through it God hath quickened the souls of the sincere among His servants. In its inner essence, this Word is the living water by which God hath purified the hearts of such as have turned unto Him and forgotten every other mention, and through which He draweth them nigh unto the seat of His mighty Name. We have sprinkled it upon the people of the graves, and lo, they have risen up, with their gaze fixed upon the shining and resplendent Beauty of their Lord.” (Baha’u'llah, The Summons of the Lord of Hosts, p. 141)

WOULD YOU CHANGE YOUR WAYS?

If you were 100% sure there was a judgement day, would you change your ways or continue on the way you are?

Truth is relative, but judgment is 100% sure.
My knowledge is relative, but law of causality is 100% sure.
My repentance is relative, but God’s mercy is 100% sure.
Therefore, I try to change my relative wrongdoings
with complete faith in the forgiveness of God.

Abdul-Baha says:

“We must look upon our enemies with a sin-covering eye and act with justice when confronted with any injustice whatsoever, forgive all, consider the whole of humanity as our own family, the whole earth as our own country, be sympathetic with all suffering, nurse the sick, offer a shelter to the exiled, help the poor and those in need, dress all wounds and share the happiness of each one.”

DO DOOMSDAY PREACHERS MAKE APOLOGY?

Do any of the televangelists who prophesy that the end is near, ever make a public apology for not really knowing crap?

They become richer and more famous with such false
interpretations of prophecies. Because, there exist always
desperate people who love to spend money in gambling, and
gambling with ghosts is more attractive. See how there
are still myriads of rumors about doomsday now!

Abdul-Baha says:

“Inasmuch as human interpretations and blind imitations differ widely, religious strife and disagreement have arisen among mankind, the light of true religion has been extinguished and the unity of the world of humanity destroyed. The prophets of God voiced the spirit of unity and agreement. They have been the founders of divine reality. Therefore if the nations of the world forsake imitations and investigate the reality underlying the revealed Word of God they will agree and become reconciled. For reality is one and not multiple.”

DO YOU BELIEVE LIFE IS HARD?

Why do you believe life is hard? :/

Ansrer by pukirahe Mar 31st, 2012 at 5:43PM

Because we have the precious free will to make choice.
It is really difficult to make good choices everyday.
The cow eats grass, drinks water, sleeps on soil easily.
We have to make money to buy healthy food, to select pure
and nutritious drinks, to sleep on soft and fragrant pillows.
In order to conduct the true life of a human being, we have to learn
all sorts of things such as letters, numbers, trades….
The most difficult thing is getting back to the peaceful moments
we had in our mother’s womb!
Yes, life is really hard, but we must try to live happily, thankfully
and usefully… because it is our glorious destiny that the cow
doesn’t have.
Wishing you a spiritually peaceful life.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Every cherished effort must extend its powers to other souls. Is there anything more cherished than the mind of man? We must expend this faculty in the cause of human union, for we are the children of one father. A delicate spiritual power is ever exercising an influence over the hearts and minds of men. Why should we abandon the holy power which binds us together and cleave to the barbarous traditions which keep us apart?”
(Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 183)
