CONSIDERING YOURSELF OF A CERTAIN CLASS?

Do you consider yourself a certain class..if so what one and why?

Classes are only vestiges of primitive societies:
Top leaders, officials, middle class, unprivileged masses.
There was no hope for kids of the fourth category
to be transformed into the first one.
Today all such outdated barriers have been removed
by new thinking, new means of communications, new
understanding about the reality of human beings.
We are equally all rational beings, who cannot decide
their birth, but can decide their place in societies.
The transformation is clearest in early religious communities.
Even the Prophet behaves as an equal among His believers,
and no barriers separate believers among themselves.
Then classes were restored afterwards by corrupted leadrers.
And today, in almost all societies, classes have become
more and more some sorts of prejudices.
Leaders are no longer people of the high class, but they are
only temporary representatives in their office terms.
Moreover, human dignity, is known by personal virtues,
more than by social position or possession.
Yes, today, we all belong to one class of human beings.
Each individual develops his excellence for servitude,
and no longer for leadership or earthly privileges.

Abdul-Baha says:

Our greatest efforts must be directed towards detachment from the things of the world; we must strive to become more spiritual, more luminous, to follow the counsel of the Divine Teaching, to serve the cause of unity and true equality, to be merciful, to reflect the love of the Highest on all men, so that the light of the Spirit shall be apparent in all our deeds, to the end that all humanity shall be united, the stormy sea thereof calmed, and all rough waves disappear from off the surface of life’s ocean henceforth unruffled and peaceful. Then will the New Jerusalem be seen by mankind, who will enter through its gates and receive the Divine Bounty.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Paris Talks, p. 87)

Good Question? (5)

I will buy Holy Books and giving to people who want to read.
If they want, I will sit with them, read the Books with them,
and discuss about all questions they may bring up,
as I do here on the section about Religion and Culture.
I believe that this movement of reading and consulting
will give new insight into the sacred verses and giving
new vision for solving world problems.
Since, I have no money of this amount, I am doing this
with cents and dimes.
Here on the Internet, I have to pay only service fees
and electricity. Books are completely free. I know that
today, all over the world, my friends are spending much
money for spreading Holy Books – yes Books of all religions.
After the movement of literacy, wishing that the UN will
see the need of making the movement of reading Holy Books.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Once again the wheel has turned and brought man face to face with truth. Truth is the handmaid of the Prophet. Can there be a handmaid without the Prophet?

A movement comes from the East which claims to be the divine instrument for bringing unity into the world. For this reason, if for no other, it deserves attention. Its claims are too vital and important to be overlooked. The wonderful lives of its Founders command interest. The courageous lives of its followers and their uncompromising sacrifice for this Cause form a chapter that has no parallel in history.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 4)

Year of Dragon, Day 163

Almost all day for the last ten years.
My eyes can see clearly, my fingers can type
quickly and I can sit for hours without feeling tired.
I am using my computer for translating books,
writing blogs, answering mails and enjoying
good musics.
Now, my computer is probably my best friend,
who connects me with many of my friends all over
the world. It is perhaps the best proof for me to tell
about the close relations of one God to all religions,
all mankind, all physical and spiritual worlds.
And thanks to ‘him’, I have no free time for
sadness, worry or anxiety. I am happy and I wish that
all people to be happy, especially the netizens who
have all good conditions like me.

Baha’u’llah says:

If this warfare and conflict are not entirely effaced, if the whole world of humanity is not united and in accord, if the various races refuse to associate with one another, how can we ever aspire to the realization of that dream of the millennium of which it is said, “The earth will be transformed into a delectable paradise and all the children of men will live in the utmost happiness”?

… If the inhabitants of a great continent become one spirit in different bodies marvelous progress will be made and if the people of the entire globe are welded into one great commonwealth the prayer, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as in heaven,” will be a reality for each will have the kingdom within himself.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 183)

WHAT COUNTRY ARE YOU FROM?

What country are you from?

Dust that forms by body has no private name.
Spirit that gives me heavenly life also has no
private name. Hence, the country I come from
has no proper name. I think that all other people
are also from the same origin; why do they stick
to some proper names and war with one another?
What is Middle East, what is Nato, what is Apec?
Why should we die for such geographic imagination?
As beings with best ornament from dust, with most
glorious breath from heaven, why do we waste this
supreme beauty for lower products of worldly
imaginations and fabrications?
Why can we not supply enough food for our species?
Why can we not open best schools for our children?
Why can we not make this temporary house of earth
into magnificent heaven?
Satan does not exist to prevent us.
God is always encouraging us.
Why do we persist on the way leading us to perdition?

Abdul-Baha says:

“May our eyes be ever awake; may the windows of our minds be flung awide, so that when the messenger appeareth, we may not be deprived of his glory through the veils of preconceived ideas; so that when the heavenly herald shouts the word of God, we may not be deaf; so that when the holy fragrance of the paradise of the Almighty be diffused, our nostrils may not be afflicted with cold. May we be enabled to inhale the perfume, behold the splendor, hearken to the voice and be regenerated with the spirit of the new day.

Then our life will be revivified, we shall enjoy eternal existence, be refreshed with the breath of the Holy Spirit and become informed of the mysteries of creation.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 171)

GOODNESS CAN COME IN VARIOUS GUISES?

Do you believe goodness can come in various guises, sometimes unexpected?

Asked By: CamTam 6 hours ago

Yes, very often.
The iron suffers burning, and a bright light comes out from it.
The seed suffers death, and a plant comes out of it.
The caterpillar goes through annihilation, and a butterfly
comes out of it. The mother bearing much pain, and a cute
child comes out from her.
Wonderful and unexpected changes, bringing big troubles
to all mankind, and a son of love, unity and peace will
be born for this planet.
We bear easily the sufferings that give immediate good fruit
to our eyes, and lament bitterly for some promising but
distant future. When we learn to have trust on the Prophets,
we will be able to go through all transformations with hope
and serenity.
God is good, so all things must be good.
However, God does not allow us to do bad
because His blessings are good. Disobedient
souls cannot see the bessings.

Baha’u’llah says:

“The evidences of discord and malice are apparent everywhere, though all were made for harmony and union. The Great Being saith: O well-beloved ones! The tabernacle of unity hath been raised; regard ye not one another as strangers. Ye are the fruits of one tree, and the leaves of one branch. We cherish the hope that the light of justice may shine upon the world and sanctify it from tyranny.”
