EP/Q&A
This is my favorite page.
In answer to a previous question, I say I like
the smiling face.
In this question, I say this is my favorite page.
In the next question, I may say about education
of children.
Since I interest very much about education of children,
so I am looking for questions that ask about this subject.
I believe that the more people are reminded,
the more children will get the chance to change their
sad destines.
Give education to all children, please.

Abdul-Baha says:

“It is obvious that not until the people are educated, not until public opinion is rightly focused, not until government officials, even minor ones, are free from even the least remnant of corruption, can the country be properly administered. Not until discipline, order and good government reach the degree where an individual, even if he should put forth his utmost efforts to do so, would still find himself unable to deviate by so much as a hair’s breadth from righteousness, can the desired reforms be regarded as fully established.”

Good Question? (5)

Posted by pukirahe Oct 24th, 2012 at 4:28AM

Perhaps I love my grandchildren the most,
then my children, and then my parents.
It seems that I may not have longer time
to be with the little kids to love them and
to give them guidance. In my childhood, I
live in complete darkness, so I have much
worry for the little kids today.
I find out that humans, as early as in the mother’s
womb, do need and are affected by education.
The more, the earlier, man gets his physical, human
and spiritual education, the more he has the hope
of conducting the most happy and useful life.
Unluckily, it is harder and harder to fill the gap
of ages!

Abdul-Baha says:

“Personality is obtained through the conscious effort of man by training and education. A fruitless tree under the influence of a wise gardener becomes fruitful; a slab of marble under the hand of a sculptor becomes a beautiful statue. The ruined places are built up by captains of industry; the ignorant children learn the secrets of phenomena under the tutelage of a wise teacher. The crooked branch becomes straight through cultivation.”

DO YOU LOVE THE AGE OF TECHNOLOGY?

Do you love the age of technology or do you think it has impaired our abilities?

Asked By: oooooooooh (26-30) 29 minutes ago

some I love, some I don’t – the stuff that makes us lazy worries me.

Good Question? (5)

Posted by pukirahe Oct 19th, 2012 at 5:07PM

Technology multiplies our abilities.
With mechanic instruments we can do
more things for more people.
Mankind have changed greatly after the
industrial revolution.
Now, with the Internet which bears more
resemblance to human intelligence, it will give
us both physical and intellectual strength.
Robots can do heavy, dangerous, subtle things
within us and far in the space that we cannot reach.
We do not become lazy, but with these instruments
we can work actively and effectively many hours each day.
Machines will never replace us in thinking and
in developing human virtues. The Internet is helping
us amazingly on this aspect. Therefore, it is inevitable
for us to establish world peace and do all other great things
on global level. Universal education is also possible now
with the Internet – and children classes all over the world
can get abundant lessons and educational materials up here.
Yesterday, I have discovered lots of things on Youtube, BBC,
Facebook…. About education of children. And millions of

people are now working and getting benefits on the Internet.

Abdul-Baha says:

“It is, furthermore, a vital necessity to establish schools throughout Persia, even in the smallest country towns and villages, and to encourage the people in every possible way to have their children learn to read and write. If necessary, education should even be made compulsory. Until the nerves and arteries of the nation stir into life, every measure that is attempted will prove vain; for the people are as the human body, and determination and the will to struggle are as the soul, and a soulless body does not move. This dynamic power is present to a superlative degree in the very nature of the Persian people, and the spread of education will release it.”

WATCHING THE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE?

Who is watching the presidential debate?

Asked By: KittyChanel (36-40, F) 24 minutes ago

I am…I love watching humans do their thing.

Presidential debate, world olympic games, Earth Summit,
Miss World Pageant, Video games…. which is attracting
more viewers today? What lessons do viewers get and
apply for the betterment of our suffering world? Or people just
wait for winners to shape their destinies?
Great orators are speaking on world platforms, great authors
are writing thousands of books, prominent Websites are
publishing eloquent commentaries… and who is making
a final decision for a new world system of education suitable
to the conditions of our completely new world?
Do we need debates or education?
Do we need banks or healthy economy?
Do we need WHO or health?
I propose that the leaders, mainly policy makers,
please rethink and redo the world system of education
to change radically human activities for a better world.
Yes, this is within your power.

ARE YOU SPIRITUAL OR RELIGIOUS?

Are you a religious person or a spiritual one?

Asked By: holloway64 (46-50, M) 30 minutes ago

I am both.
As a human being, I am spirit.
My spirit recognizes God, I am religious.
I don’t know how a human being can be
one without the other!
The distinction may come by a false concept
about man or about religion. If man is monkey, then
surely he is not spiritual. If religion is not divine
education from God, then no man is religious.
I am proud of being both, and have no reasons
to deny one of these two aspects.
How a man can enter the Kingdom of God if he is not both:
spiritual and religious?!

COPING WITH THE PASSING AWAY OF A LOVED ONE?

How did you cope with the loss of a loved one?

Asked By: EleanorJean (22-25, F) 20 minutes ago

I lost both of my parents a few years ago, and still suffer from the pain and anguish of it. I have good friends, relatives I see only sometimes, but inside there is a part of me that continually feels raw. I know time is a healer, but this feels like yesterday to me.

Posted by pukirahe Oct 1st, 2012 at 6:17AM

Our departing loved ones are not lost.
They are living in a greater world and
they are helping us from there.
Twin kids may wrongly think that the first born was lost;
but only a moment later she would realize that her twin
sister is enjoying greater happiness on this earth.
There are various ways for us to show love to the
departed ones such as:
Praying for the progress of their souls.
Doing charities in their names.
Accomplishing things that they love when still alive.
Conducting a more spiritual life to attain nearness
to their spirituality.
Sooner or later we will meet them again, so it is
best to make preparations derserving to this spiritual reunion.
All this will bring greater joy to our soul and their souls
instead of sadness.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Therefore, the beloved of God and the maid-servants of the Merciful must train their children with life and heart and teach them in the school of virtue and perfection. They must not be lax in this matter; they must not be inefficient. Truly, if a babe did not live at all it were better than to let it grow ignorant, for that innocent babe, in later life, would become afflicted with innumerable defects, responsible to and questioned by God, reproached and rejected by the people. What a sin this would be and what an omission!”

Life is not a gambling for winning and losing.
Life is not a business for wealth and bankruptcy.
Life is not a war game for victory and defeat.
Life is an eternal process of development of
one’s own body and soul through education
and application of true knowledge.
Fame, reputation, populatiry are all fake without
any positive influence on human soul. The good

Abdul-Baha says:

“The Sunday school for the children in which the Tablets and Teachings of Bahá’u'lláh are read, and the Word of God is recited for the children is indeed a blessed thing. Thou must certainly continue this organized activity without cessation, and attach importance to it, so that day by day it may grow and be quickened with the breaths of the Holy Spirit. If this activity is well organized, rest thou assured that it will yield great results. Firmness and steadfastness, however, are necessary, otherwise it will continue for some time, but later be gradually forgotten. Perseverance is an essential condition. In every project firmness and steadfastness will undoubtedly lead to good results; otherwise it will exist for some days, and then be discontinued.”

“The more man strives along the degrees of attainment, the greater will be the unfoldment. The child born to the mother manifests this element of life in a more abundant degree than the child in the matrix. The display of the forces of life upon the arena of existence is incomparably greater than that of the dark and narrow world in which the babe lived for nine months. But when life attains to the summit of maturity, then its manifestations will be along many paths and cover many fields hitherto undreamed of.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 165)

SOME LITTLE THOUGHTS ABOUT TRAFFIC LAWS?

Are traffic laws different in each different state/country?

Asked By: Diabolico (22-25) 32 minutes ago

I know this might sound like a(n) silly/irrelevant question but are the traffic laws different in each different country/state? I’ve been living and following the traffic laws in the USA in my whole so I never got the chance to learn and know the traffic laws that are different from the USA. So does anyone know exactly what’s the difference between the traffic laws in the USA and the others in different countrys?
For example: Like Japan, China, Europe, Canada, South America, and etc.
But before any of you answer, let me warn you first. Don’t make a post to answer my question unless you’re gonna answer politely and give me the answers (if you know the answer) that I’m looking. Cause already had enough insults and cyber bully comments right now. I’ve been through enough so I really would appreciate it if you guys cut me some slack right now. Thank you.
P.S. – Sorry for my french.

Good Question? (3)

Posted by pukirahe Sep 21st, 2012 at 9:51PM

Same purpose, different expressions.
Purpose: Civilization, Freedom, Safety.
Expressions: Light, Whistle, Fine…
Traffic laws in a civilized country is like
divine laws in all societies.
God wants all His children to live freely, safely
and more and more civilized, so He reveals laws.
We imitate Him in traffic but not yet in all other
aspects of our community life. Perhaps, causes
and effects are easiest to observe in traffic.
For a driver who obeys the traffic laws, no policeman
will bother him, he can freely and safely reach his
destination. The disobedients cannot enjoy these
blessings.
For life in general, we are subjected to natural laws,
social laws and divine laws. The more we know and
obey the laws, the more we will enjoy freedom, safety

and become more civilized. Otherwise, the sufferings

of the primitive life in jungles.

WHY IS IT HARD TO BE OURSELVES?

Why is it so hard to be ourselves and if you are tell me is it easy?

Asked By: okaycafe 16 minutes ago

Posted by pukirahe Sep 7th, 2012 at 6:01PM

To know our self is hard, to be our self is easy.
Once I know my self is body; I enter physical
education and practice it.
When I know my self is intellectual, I enter human
education and practice it.
When I know my self is the soul, I enter divine
education and practice it.
With learning and practicing, I know why life
is difficult and I also know how to overcome.
In brief, all things are difficult due to lack of
knowledge and practice. Once we know well
and practice regularly, all will become easy.
Yes, practice makes easy and perfect.

Abdul-Baha says:

“The prophets say that something else is necessary. It is true that education transforms the desert into a rose garden, the virgin forest into an orchard, saplings into trees, and single flowers into double and treble flowers, but there is a fundamental difference in men. You may know ten children of one country, in the same school, under the same master, treated and fed in the same way. One of these children may make great progress, others may remain stationary. In the innate nature there are differences of memory, perception and intelligence. There is a superior, a middle and an inferior degree which corresponds to the difference in the fundamental estates of creation. While recognizing the influence of education we must also become acquainted with the innate disposition.”
