BELIEVING IN INVISIBLE THINGS?

¿Why do some people believe in certain things they can’t see, but refuse to believe in other things they can’t see?

¿Why believe in Satan, but not Santa?

Good Question? (3)

Because visible things are not real.
The village where I was born is now
only a ricefield, the road I used to walk
on is now covered with grass, the friends
I played together in childhood have disappeared.
The virtual world is so real that all my activities
are performed up here: learning, exchanging
opinions, getting accurate information about the
achievements of co-religionists in other countries….
It seems that the mature humanity will spend more
time for meditation about the invisible world of Revelation.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Man has a sacred power which permits him to discover the inner significances, the reality of invisible things. Ponder over these statements, so that the portals of divine wisdom and infinite knowledge may open before thy face.

I wish to awaken you out of your deep slumber. Do you know in what day you are living? Do you realize in what dispensation you exist? Have you not read in the holy scriptures that at the consummation of the ages there would dawn a day — the sum total of all past days? This is the day when the Lord of hosts hath come on the clouds of glory.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 37)

The world changes tremendously from my childhood.
My grandchild today is thousands of times more
knowledgeable than me:
At the age of 10, she can read thick books in English,
while I did not know ABC.
Other kids all over the world even win world fame.
They are familar with digital gadgets, acquainted
with world cultures and international practices, giving

speeches at various world platforms….
Perhaps, in the next ten years, many grandparents
will not be able to converse with their grandchildren.
There are perhaps no more families
with more than two generations.
I really cannot know how a family will look like by the end
of this century. Of course, it will be harder to imagine
about the whole world!

Abdul-Baha says:

“It is the inherent nature of things on this earth to change, thus we see around us the change of the seasons. Every spring is followed by a summer and every autumn brings a winter — every day a night and every evening a morning. There is a sequence in all things.

Thus when hatred and animosity, fighting, slaughtering, and great coldness of heart were governing this world, and darkness had overcome the nations, Bahá’u'lláh, like a bright star, rose from the horizon of Persia and shone with the great Light of Guidance, giving heavenly radiance and establishing the new Teaching.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Abdu’l-Baha in London, p. 27)

There is no problem with society.
Problem is with my ignorance.
By my ignorance, I don’t know how to accept
the world as it is.
By my ignorance I don’t know how to make myself happy.
By my ignorance I leave behind a generation of
uneducated and suffering children.
The way out is quite clear: education for myself
and education for all kids.
Physical, human and divine education will give
knowledge for building a better and much better world.

Because death unprepared is horrible.
We must learn to have true knowledge
and make good preparations for our death.
The embryo is prepared with physical senses
to use in this longer life.
We have free will to make preparations for
spiritual senses to live eternally after this world.
We want to die because we don’t see the meaning
of this life. Our ignorance and spiritual blindness
in such longer life is really more miserable than
hellfire.
God is giving people many chances to learn His
counsels. Let us seek for them for the benefit of
our own life. Knowledge will give us happiness
right here and now. Then we will not fear both
life or death.

There is one interesting place that I forget
for years without visiting: my mind.
In answering a question like this years ago
I say Hawaii, USA.
Answering the same question few months ago
I say Haifa, Israel.
But, one place I should visit every day must be
my mind. God places treasures in it and I
regretfully ignore them. That make me continuously
express my poverty before men’s eyes.
I think that from now on, I will concentrate more
in exploiting my inner affluence to share on this
immense Internet.
The more individual netizens become spiritually rich,
the more the Internet will attract mankind. Up here
we cannot store currencies, but can store positive thoughts.

Today we don’t have time to waste on groundless hearsays.
We need time to spend on what we can do for the betterment
of the world:
We need time to improve our educational systems (making
new and good world citizens.)
We need time to solve problems of environment, health, food…
(and preventing any dangers such as earthquakes, storms,
meteors…)
We need time to make new inventions.
We need time to make discoveries in the creation.
With concentrated consultations and synchonized
actions via Internet, we can keep in our grasp the
bright future of our world (now we have both the
real world and the expanding virtual world).
Rumors about doomsday will no longer affect our life.

questions and answers. Then I develop
my opinions with about three opinions
concerning questions, three for answers.
Question must be clear, purposeful,

Answer to make friend with asker, to cause
the mind to function and giving new thoughts
concerning the subject the asker brings up.
By this way, I can answer many questions at
about this same length.

Abdul-Baha says:

“I am astonished to find what a veil has fallen across their eyes, and how it blinds them even to such obvious necessities as these. And there is no doubt whatever that when conclusive arguments and proofs of this sort are advanced, they will answer, out of a thousand hidden spites and prejudices: “On the Day of Judgment, when men stand before their Lord, they will not be questioned as to their education and the degree of their culture — rather will they be examined as to their good deeds.” Let us grant this and assume that man will not be asked as to his culture and education; even so, on that great Day of Reckoning, will not the leaders be called to account? Will it not be said to them: “O chiefs and leaders! Why did ye cause this mighty nation to fall from the heights of its former glory, to pass from its place at the heart and center of the civilized world?

WHY MY MIND THINKS THE WORST?

Why does my mind always think the worst?

Asked By: kuronekko (31-35, F) 42 minutes ago

Posted by pukirahe Oct 21st, 2012 at 4:34AM

That is good.
No man should think the average,
because that is not thinking.
A thinking man doesn’t expect for bread with butter
today as he had yesterday and the days before.
The food for today must be something better,
kentucky fried chicken, for example. Or reasonably
it must be the best food of Queen Elizabeth. Why
can she have that food and other equal human beings
cannot?
But, in reality, our world is not a reasonable world.
my food today is worse than bread and butter. And
the worst is that many children, especially the children
in Africa, are starving, starving for years, starving to death!!!
Yes, I am thinking the worst like you!!!
As by now, in the beginning of the third millennium,
we can only expect for better food from heaven – the
divine banquet, the teachings of the Prophets of God.
Yes, all human beings, if they like, they can come
to the divine banquet on the Internet. And the best souls
may sit at the Last Supper of Christ.
Perhaps, our leaders are still too busy with greater
global problems, and have no time to seek for solutions
to this average matter of food. So, let individuals, most
individuals keep on thinking for the worst!!!

Abdul-Baha says:

“The hour has struck — soon the vibrations will be felt on this material plane; for as Abdul Baha so beautifully puts it — “Does not the dawn of a new day arouse the sleeping ones from their couches of negligence and awaken all those who are not dead?” Speaking of the temple of the future, Abdul Baha says — “Every country has a hundred thousand gigantic temples, but what results have they yielded? The important point is this — from a temple of worship must go forth not only the spiritual but the material needs. Verily, the founding of this temple will mark the inception of the Kingdom of God on earth. It is the evident standard waving in the center of the great continent of America.”

God is not a man either. God is the Creator of
the Holy Spirit, Who creates humans, being male
and female only on earth. Humans will have no
gender when they leave this body to live the eternal
spiritual life.
Faithfuls worship and serve the Cause of God,
because of His Divine Education, not because He
is Man or Woman.
Divine Education will raise all souls to the level
of mature children of God, who will not imagine
childishly about their Heavenly Creator.

Baha’u’llah says:

“O dwellers of the earth! Would ye contend that if We raise up a soul unto the Sadratu’l-Muntaha it shall then cease to be subject to the power of Our sovereignty and dominion? Nay, by Mine own Self! Should it be Our wish, We would return it to the dust in less than the twinkling of an eye. Consider a tree: Behold how We plant it in a garden, and nourish it with the waters of Our loving care; and how, when it hath grown tall and mature, and brought forth verdant leaves and goodly fruits, We send forth the tempestuous gales of Our decree, tear it up by its roots, and lay it prostrate upon the face of the earth. So hath it been Our way with all things, and so shall it be in this day.”

HOW DEFINING RIGHT AND WRONG?

How do we define right and wrong?

Asked By: nevergivesup (31-35, F) 37 minutes ago

Posted by pukirahe Oct 8th, 2012 at 6:12PM

By natural law:
Climbing up, right; falling down without parachute, wrong.
By social law:
Observing truth, right; telling lie, wrong.
By tradition:
Following ancestors’ religion, right; rejecting it, wrong.
By conscience:
Love, right; hatred, wrong.
By divine law:
Fearing-God, right; blasphemy, wrong.
There are so many standards to define right
and wrong, therefore right things to some people
may be wrong to others.
I personally believe in the omniscience of God,
so I define right and wrong based on the sacred
verses of the Holy Books for this Age. Obedience
to them is right, disobedience is wrong. With my
limited mind, I may wrongly understand the teachings,
so I keep on learning again and again to make
proper modifications: When I was young, I did not
pray, now I pray more frequently.
Perfection depends on learning, practicing, praying,
meditating, inspiration, yes mainly divine guidance.
Hence, only God can judge, because His omniscience
knows how sincere we are.
