WHAT IS HINDERANCE OF HAPPINESS?

What do you believe stands between you and complete happiness?

Good Question? (4)

Confusion.
When a person is confused, he cannot be happy.
He can be completely happy only when he knows clearly
what is the pleasure of God and how to attain it.
Besides the prophets, the saints, the sincere believers,
nobody can attain complete happiness.
This high condition of an obedient mind is far different
from the feelings of satisfaction with obtaining physical
possessions. Because feelings cannot last long and they
become sorrows with losses.
Divine education and practice will lead to true happiness.

Baha’u’llah says:

“That all nations should become one in faith and all men as brothers; that the bonds of affection and unity between the sons of men should be strengthened; that diversity of religion should cease, and differences of race be annulled — what harm is there in this?… Yet so it shall be; these fruitless strifes, these ruinous wars shall pass away, and the ‘Most Great Peace’ shall come…. Yet do We see your kings and rulers lavishing their treasures more freely on means for the destruction of the human race than on that which would conduce to the happiness of mankind….” (Baha’u'llah, The Proclamation of Baha’u'llah)

Baha’u’llah says:

“Our limbs, our members, O my Lord, bear witness to Thy unity and oneness. Send down upon us Thy strength and power, that we may become steadfast in Thy Faith and may aid Thee among Thy servants. Illumine our eyes, O my Lord, with the effulgence of Thy beauty, and enlighten our hearts with the splendors of Thy knowledge and wisdom. Write us up, then, with those who have fulfilled their pledge to Thy Covenant in Thy days, and who, through their love for Thee, have detached themselves from the world and all that is therein.”

IS THERE REALLY TRUE ROMANTIC LOVE?

Is there really true romantic love?

Asked By: javajive (41-45) 26 minutes ago

Posted by pukirahe Oct 22nd, 2012 at 6:07PM

When two souls meet in selfless love, that is romantic.
When you love selflessly, that is divine.
When other people love you selflessly, that is paradise.
All these sublime sentiments fill the hearts of people
who turn to God with conscious knowledge and service.
These are rare cases in the past when education was exclusively
reserved for privileged prople in so-called high classes.
Today, this beauty becomes universal, because all
people can get access to knowledge on the Internet.
Those who seeked, have found.

Baha’u'llah says:

“20. O YE THAT ARE LYING AS DEAD ON THE COUCH OF HEEDLESSNESS!

Ages have passed and your precious lives are well-nigh ended, yet not a single breath of purity hath reached Our court of holiness from you. Though immersed in the ocean of misbelief, yet with your lips ye profess the one true faith of God. Him whom I abhor ye have loved, and of My foe ye have made a friend. Notwithstanding, ye walk on My earth complacent and self-satisfied, heedless that My earth is weary of you and everything within it shunneth you. Were ye but to open your eyes, ye would, in truth, prefer a myriad griefs unto this joy, and would count death itself better than this life.”

DOUBT ENEMY OF FAITH?

Is doubt the enemy of faith ?

Asked By: underconstruction (41-45, F) 1 hour ago

Good Question? (3)

Posted by pukirahe Oct 7th, 2012 at 11:22PM

Nothing is enemy of faith, because faith
turns all enemies into friends.
Doubt, hatred, confusion… are fruits of ignorance.
True faith or certitude is conscious knowledge
about the divine truth, meditating about it and
translating it into action. Actions under this light
lead to love, harmony, unity and all consequent
good things.
That is why the true faithfuls of all ages are
happy, useful and progressive. Buddhist, Christian,
Islamic civilizations… are fruit of faith.

Abdul-Baha says:

“The bounty and power of God is limitless for each human soul. Consider what was the quickening power of the Christ when He was on earth. Look at His disciples! They were poor and uncultured men. Out of the rough fisherman He made the great Peter, and out of the poor village girl of Magdala He made one who is a power in all the world today. Many queens have reigned who are remembered by their dates in history, and nothing more is known of them. But Mary the Magdalene is greater than them all. It was she whose love strengthened the disciples when their faith was failing. What she did for the world cannot be measured. See what a divine power was enkindled in her by the power of God!” (Abdu’l-Baha, Abdu’l-Baha in London, p. 88)

Good Question? (5)

Answering questions.
When I read a question, I thought I understood it
based on its content.
Right away I have some opnions and I write them down.
But usually the asker does not choose it as the best,
because it does not respond to asker’s intention.
And even when the answer chooses it as best, it may
not be really good, but the asker has no other choice!
So, experience tells me that I should think a little more
about the asker’s requirement. And still it is really hard
to succeed.
This is somehow better for me. If all my answers are chosen
as the best, I may fall into the danger of arrogance!

Baha’u’llah writes (to Napoleon III):

“I have written you an epistle before this, summoning you to the Cause of God but you are of the heedless. You have proclaimed that you were the defender of the oppressed; now it hath become evident that you are not. Nor are you kind to your own suffering and oppressed people. Your actions are contrary to your own interests and your kingly pride must fall. Because of your arrogance God shortly will destroy your sovereignty. France will flee away from you and you will be overwhelmed by a great conquest. There will be lamentation and mourning, women bemoaning the loss of their sons.”

GOOD IDEA BEING MISUSED?

It appears to me, that if you come up with something good, something to help people, at some point in time someone will find a way to twist it around and abuse it.

We are not omniscient.
Life is changing.
We are living in a relative world
with the mingling of light and darkness,
hence all truths are relative.
That is why we should not judge other people.
That is why we should not impose our ideal on the world.
That is why we should rethink our thinking….
Life harmony cannot be established by sage kings
and absolute obedient subjects,
but by free and frank consultations among all citizens.
At present, democracy + aristocracy + free press
seems preferable.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Consider whether there exists anywhere in creation a principle mightier in every sense than religion, or whether any conceivable power is more pervasive than the various Divine Faiths, or whether any agency can bring about real love and fellowship and union among all peoples as can belief in an almighty and all-knowing God, or whether except for the laws of God there has been any evidence of an instrumentality for educating all mankind in every phase of righteousness.

Those qualities which the philosophers attained when they had reached the very heights of their wisdom, those noble human attributes which characterized them at the peak of their perfection, would be exemplified by the believers as soon as they accepted the Faith.” (Abdu’l-Baha, The Secret of Divine Civilization, p. 83)

IMAGINING A WORLD WITHOUT HATE?

Can you ever imagine a world without hate?

Asked By: plAful (51-55, M) 15 minutes ago

Good Question? (6)

Posted by pukirahe Sep 28th, 2012 at 7:00PM

It is the world we are now living.
This world is living, growing and becoming
evident before all eyes.
In my life, in my environment, in my EP activities
I see no signs of hate. I find love everywhere.
Not only me, but millions of people already see
this world and they are actively working for its
speedy development.
We are individually introducing the boundless love of God
without proselytizing, without judging, without pushing.
We humbly bow low before all people for service
with joyful consent, agreement, support. We take no
profit, no credit, no honour. We consider servitude
our most cherished blessing.
I believe that the world will change miraculously
with God’s teachings overflowing the planet
like water covering the seas, Yes, that ideal world
is here and now, especially for the individual who
voluntarily changes himself from hate to selfless love.
Once we turn to the sun, light is apparent right there.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Sincerity is the foundation-stone of faith. That is, a religious individual must disregard his personal desires and seek in whatever way he can wholeheartedly to serve the public interest; and it is impossible for a human being to turn aside from his own selfish advantages and sacrifice his own good for the good of the community except through true religious faith. For self-love is kneaded into the very clay of man, and it is not possible that, without any hope of a substantial reward, he should neglect his own present material good.”

Double your effort in education.
This, and this alone, will make you
special in this world and in the worlds
to come.
God creates us all with body, mind and soul
so we have to develop them through physical,
human and divine education to show that we
are special creatures among all His creation.
With education we beautify our life, we beautify
the world and we beautify newly-discovered realms,
such as Internet, our soul, world of Revelaton.

“Another new principle revealed by His Holiness Bahá’u'lláh is the injunction to investigate truth; that is to say, no man should blindly follow his ancestors and forefathers. MARRYING A PERSON OUTSIDE YOUR RELIGION?

Will you marry a person outside your religion?

Asked By: Oasis1010 (41-45, F) 1 hour ago

Good Question? (3)

Posted by pukirahe Sep 23rd, 2012 at 5:31AM

Definitely yes.
Who makes religion into unbreakable barriers
between lovers and loved ones. Religion is love
from God, it must strengthen all bonds among
human beings. How barriers be named as religion?
From time immemorial, God creates man by love and for
love, and He sends down His Messengers to divinely
educate human beings how to live wisely, happily and
progressively. When religion still reflects love, it
attracts all hearts. When it becomes barriers, it will be
abandoned. No power is more powerful than the power
of love.
Let us look for crystal teachings of the Messengers of God
instead of blindly attaching to ceremonies, superstitions
and prejudices. The Messengers of God are omnipotent and
omniscient; They always protect safely Their believers.
Questions like these may no longer exist in the next few
decades with the awakening of the human race.
They know what to learn and know how to conduct their lives
as rational beings.

-”Please wake them up.”
Many people complain that they cannot sleep
and they spend too much money to cure this
illness, but I don’t know why I keep on wondering
about people sleeping so profoundly!
Despite Trumpet sound from Heaven.
Despite roaring of wars on earth.
Despite tsunami, pandemic, cries of refugees…
people still keep on sleeping!
Why is it so hard to call them up from their slumber?
-”Pukirahe, it is your own fault. You don’t know that they
are waking up silently one by one, and those few
awakened ones are buiding the foundation of My Kingdom
for all the rest. If they all wake up right now, for not yet
seeing My power, they will again commit more transgressions.
See, you send My Words on the Internet every day, and
how many have read and responded to My call? So, be patient,
and keep doing what you think as worthy to be done.”

Reply by WhiteWidowess Sep 12th, 2012 at 3:13AM

Reply by pukirahe Sep 12th, 2012 at 4:04AM

Perhaps it will sound again in a world language for all can hear and understand. I am worrying how the resurrected souls can respond when they cannot understand God. His Words are now pronounced again and again in Arabic, Persian and Enghish… but translations in other languages are still very poor. I am wondering how God are compensating for those who cannot understand.
