Good Question? (4)

Posted by pukirahe Oct 24th, 2012 at 4:51PM

For man being created with intelligence.
Otherwise, we would not have the Internet,
we would not have this EP/Q&A, we would
not know what to learn and what to teach.
How life would be, if men only imitate like
monkeys?
All religion, all culture, all civilization… come
into existence, only because we have intelligence.
We will use it to solve our personal as well as
collective problems to make our world a much
better and pleasing world.
I am thankful to God for giving intelligence
to the human race.

Baha’u’llah says:

“I beseech Thee, O Thou Who art the Lord of all being and the Enlightener of all things visible and invisible, to grant that every one of them may become an ensign of Thy guidance among Thy servants, and a revelation of the splendors of the Day-Star of Thy loving-kindness amidst Thy creatures. Thou hast, O my God, chosen them to love Thee, and to stand before the throne of Thy majesty. No other station hath excelled the station to which Thou hast called them.”

EP HAS ANSWERS FOR ALL QUESTIONS?

Is Ep some kind of Missionary who has answers for your every question?

This is an interesting forum for all people.
Any individuals can ask any questions,
and individual answerers respond in many
ways: wise, thoughtful, funny, senseless, intelligent….
Through all this we have a general picture of
the thinking of people today about various aspects
of human life.
I feel it is like a daily newspaper with comments,
consultations, proposals….

Abdul-Baha says:

“It is certain that if the vigorous intelligence and superior skill of the nation’s great, and the energy and resolve of the most eminent men at the imperial court, and the determined efforts of those who have knowledge and capacity, and are well versed in the great laws of political life, should all be combined, and all should exert every effort and examine and reflect over every detail as well as on the main currents of affairs, there is every likelihood that because of the effective plans they would evolve, some situations would be thoroughly reformed.”

Good Question? (4)

Posted by pukirahe Oct 20th, 2012 at 8:37PM

Education of children.
In order to be new, interesting, convincing,
following elements should be included:
-How to educate ALL children?
-How they ALL can become like SAINTS?
-How do they attain greatest knowledge
to solve all global problems?
– How will they build a world civilization
covering all cultures?
– How to devise a world system of education
to achieve this in this century?
This is for you to present the subject. As for the
realization, I think that the UN will form a studying
agency to prepare a draft for UN resolution.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Again, there are sagacious leaders among the people and influential personalities throughout the country, who constitute the pillars of state. Their rank and station and success depend on their being the well-wishers of the people and in their seeking out such means as will improve the nation and will increase the wealth and comfort of the citizens.

Observe the case when an individual is an eminent person in his country, zealous, wise, pure-hearted, known for his innate capacity, intelligence, natural perspicacity — and is also an important member of the state: what, for such an individual, can be regarded as honor, abiding happiness, rank and station, whether in the here or the hereafter?

Good Question? (3)

Yes, right at this moment.
In answering a previous question, I thought about
education of children, and I got angry, crazy.
Adults everywhere on earth are depriving children
the greatest blessing for life: education. Even parents
still don’t give due awareness to this matter. We claim
to be busy with all sorts of things to abandon this
most important, most sacred duty: education for
all children on earth. What is the use of preserving
physical existence, miserable existence, without
education?!
Now tell me, what is really more important, more urgent
than providing education to children, especially
YOUR CHILDREN?

Abdul-Baha says:

“We also observe in infants the signs of aggression and lawlessness, and that if a child is deprived of a teacher’s instructions his undesirable qualities increase from one moment to the next. It is therefore clear that the emergence of this natural sense of human dignity and honor is the result of education. Secondly, even if we grant for the sake of the argument that instinctive intelligence and an innate moral quality would prevent wrongdoing, it is obvious that individuals so characterized are as rare as the philosopher’s stone. An assumption of this sort cannot be validated by mere words, it must be supported by the facts. Let us see what power in creation impels the masses toward righteous aims and deeds!” (Abdu’l-Baha, The Secret of Divine Civilization, p. 97)

PRAISING GOD ALMIGHTY ONLINE?

What one line would you like to say in praise of God Almighty?

At EP online I like to say my praise of God.
One line is too short. My answers to questions up here
usually take more than ten lines.
God does not need me or any human beings to praise
Him, because human words cannot do justice to His
omniscience and His omnipotence.
He gives us intelligence to create an invisible world that
can carry forward an ever-advancing civilization as long
as He exists.
This fact will encourage man to try his best in worship
and service, to realize that man supreme creation will
never possess living properties and creative intelligence.
Then he will humbly and sincerely submit his will under
the Will of God.

Baha’u’llah says:

“Unto Thee be praise, O Lord my God! I entreat Thee, by Thy signs that have encompassed the entire creation, and by the light of Thy countenance that hath illuminated all that are in heaven and on earth, and by Thy mercy that hath surpassed all created things, and by Thy grace that hath suffused the whole universe, to rend asunder the veils that shut me out from Thee, that I may hasten unto the Fountain-Head of Thy mighty inspiration, and to the Day-Spring of Thy Revelation and bountiful favors, and may be immersed beneath the ocean of Thy nearness and pleasure.”

GUUN – not GUN
It symbolizes peace, GUUN and not GUN.
GU, Greater Universe, but Utter Nothingness.
I must remember that I am the greater universe
in order to detach from all trivial things of this
little world, this mindless universe. That huge
immensity is completely governed by natural laws.
I can think to break the natural laws while obeying
the social and divine laws, therefore I am greater.
UN, Utter Nothingness, reminds me that I am nothing
before mankind, before the Prophets, before God.
All my thinking, saying, doing are utter nothingness.
So, I can easily bow down humbly in love and respect
before all people.
I live not to do my will, but to submit my will under
the Will of God.

Baha’u’llah says:

“After scaling the high summits of wonderment the wayfarer cometh to THE VALLEY OF TRUE POVERTY AND ABSOLUTE NOTHINGNESS.

This station is the dying from self and the living in God, the being poor in self and rich in the Desired One. Poverty as here referred to signifieth being poor in the things of the created world, rich in the things of God’s world. For when the true lover and devoted friend reacheth to the presence of the Beloved, the sparkling beauty of the Loved One and the fire of the lover’s heart will kindle a blaze and burn away all veils and wrappings. Yea, all he hath, from heart to skin, will be set aflame, so that nothing will remain save the Friend.”

HOW DO YOU DEFINE GOD?

How do you define God?

Asked By: Anto815 (46-50, F) 56 minutes ago

Posted by pukirahe Sep 28th, 2012 at 6:26PM

Nobody knows God to define Him.
God defines Himself in the Holy Books
but nobody can fully understand. This
mystery can be discovered gradually through
Divine Education.
God defines Himself as Creator of all worlds,
but nobody knows what are those worlds and
how He creates them.
Divine Education is supreme teachings brought
down by the Messengers of God from Age to Age
to develop human intelligence. These are recognized
as supreme teachings because they are always true
although revealed by Educators far distant in time
and space, such as from Krishna to Moses, from
Buddha to Baha’u’llah….
They all mention about this Age of maturity of
the human race, and now we have all Their Books
on the Internet for comparing, learning and practicing.
This is the only Age in human history that all
divine teachings can be taught and learned
synchronously all over the world.
That is why we can believe in world unity, world peace
and higher progress both spiritual and physical.

Abdul-Baha says:

“There are some who imagine that an innate sense of human dignity will prevent man from committing evil actions and insure his spiritual and material perfection. That is, that an individual who is characterized with natural intelligence, high resolve, and a driving zeal, will, without any consideration for the severe punishments consequent on evil acts, or for the great rewards of righteousness, instinctively refrain from inflicting harm on his fellow men and will hunger and thirst to do good. And yet, if we ponder the lessons of history it will become evident that this very sense of honor and dignity is itself one of the bounties deriving from the instructions of the Prophets of God. We also observe in infants the signs of aggression and lawlessness, and that if a child is deprived of a teacher’s instructions his undesirable qualities increase from one moment to the next. It is therefore clear that the emergence of this natural sense of human dignity and honor is the result of education.”
