Absence of love.
In absence of love, we may wrongly hate haters.
We think that we are right to love good people (lovers)
and hate bad people (haters)!
In reality, we completely have no knowledge about other
people, or even concrete things. We see the appearance
of a tree, but we cannot know its essence, its reality.
In all Holy Books, it is said that all people are good,
because they are the children of God, created in His
image and likeness. All come from Him and will return
to Him.
Lacking of this education, we may even wrongly judge
our parents. We think that they hate us, they are bad,
so we are right to hate them! Why not, are our parents
saints? Of course, parents should not hate their children too.
Mutual love and mutual respect is a great principle.
No Messengers of God are giving us the right to judge
people. Love, tolerance, forgiveness…are noble virtues
of all individuals. Judgment is the job of God and His
institutions.
Our world will only become a world of peace when
each individual judges himself instead of judging other people.

Baha’u’llah says:
“66. O EMIGRANTS! The tongue I have designed for the mention of Me, defile it not with detraction. If the fire of self overcome you, remember your own faults and not the faults of My creatures, inasmuch as every one of you knoweth his own self better than he knoweth others.”(Baha’u'llah, The Persian Hidden Words)

We hate being judged
While we judge other people
Thinking that we’re right!
