THE SHORTEST WAY TO HELL?

What’s the shortest way to Hell?

Good Question? (6)

Posted by pukirahe Oct 30th, 2012 at 2:42AM

Ignorance itself is hell.
All wrongdoings, sufferings, damages are
the fruit of blindness of the mind.
Denial of God, disobedience to His Will,
transgression are also the absence of divine light.
That is why we must provide education,
providing human and divine light to their mind,
so that they will find out the way to knowledge
and wisdom, to joy and progress, to civilization
and immortality.
Heaven and hell are not two physical places above
and below the earth; they are only ignorance and knowledge.

Abdul-Baha says:

“How long shall we drift on the wings of passion and vain desire; how long shall we spend our days like barbarians in the depths of ignorance and abomination? God has given us eyes, that we may look about us at the world, and lay hold of whatsoever will further civilization and the arts of living. He has given us ears, that we may hear and profit by the wisdom of scholars and philosophers and arise to promote and practice it. Senses and faculties have been bestowed upon us, to be devoted to the service of the general good; so that we, distinguished above all other forms of life for perceptiveness and reason, should labor at all times and along all lines, whether the occasion be great or small, ordinary or extraordinary, until all mankind are safely gathered into the impregnable stronghold of knowledge.” (Abdu’l-Baha, The Secret of Divine Civilization, p. 3)

You can’t have the wrong person.
Your choice is only between two persons,
according to polls, each has reached around
50% of people’s support.
Moreover, the winner will not act completely
independent, but he has a huge staff of advisors.
I think that the conditions of each country, today,
depend more on the population than on the top leader.
Now, with the Internet, the leaders have more eyes
and ears than in the pre-digital age.
I believe that the conditons of each country,
as well as of the world, will be more and more promising.

Baha’u’llah says:

“In one of the Tablets these words have been revealed: O people of God! Do not busy yourselves in your own concerns; let your thoughts be fixed upon that which will rehabilitate the fortunes of mankind and sanctify the hearts and souls of men. This can best be achieved through pure and holy deeds, through a virtuous life and a goodly behaviour. Valiant acts will ensure the triumph of this Cause, and a saintly character will reinforce its power. Cleave unto righteousness, O people of Baha! This, verily, is the commandment which this Wronged One hath given unto you, and the first choice of His unrestrained Will for every one of you.”

WHAT’S ABNORMAL TO YOU?

What’s abnormal to you?

Asked By: laceset34 (36-40, F) 25 minutes ago

Posted by pukirahe Oct 18th, 2012 at 6:11PM

Most people think that walking by feet is normal,
so they consider as abnormal he who walks by the head.
Doing things according to tradition, habit, imitation…
is normal; doing by independent thinking, abnormal.
Immature people fear very much for being judged as abnormal,
so they dare not think, say and do things independently,
their community is like a herd of sheep.
Under a despotic regime, independent thinking is
terribly fearful. Those being labelled as abnormal
are detained in asylums or exiled to isolated dwellings.
The Internet has made a great contribution to
encouragement of independent thinking. All new thoughts,
new languages, new ways of doing things… are developing
up here at the speed of light. And mature people can
independently decide to adopt or to ignore them.
I am greatly thankful to the inventors of the Internet. I really
wonder how our world can change without it! Now, with
the Internet, all individuals can make independent investigation
of truth and practice it without fear of being judged
as abnormal!

Abdul-Baha says:

“Again, there are those famed and accomplished men of learning, possessed of praiseworthy qualities and vast erudition, who lay hold on the strong handle of the fear of God and keep to the ways of salvation. In the mirror of their minds the forms of transcendent realities are reflected, and the lamp of their inner vision derives its light from the sun of universal knowledge. They are busy by night and by day with meticulous research into such sciences as are profitable to mankind, and they devote themselves to the training of students of capacity. It is certain that to their discerning taste, the proffered treasures of kings would not compare with a single drop of the waters of knowledge, and mountains of gold and silver could not outweigh the successful solution of a difficult problem.

GREATEST INVENTION HAS YET TO COME?

Do you think the greatest invention of Mankind has yet to come?

Asked By: 4thdimensiondream (56-60, M) 48 minutes ago

Posted by pukirahe Oct 6th, 2012 at 8:53PM

Not yet.
The greatest one now is the Internet, the virtual world.
But it was invented when mankind was still immature,
divided, confusing.
The greatest invention of mankind will come after 2021,
that is after world peace, when all mankind truly cooperate
in building the Kingdom of God on earth. We will no longer
interest in the virtual world, but in the real spiritual world.
From then on we will understand what is the world of Revelation
and we healthily make our amazing journey in it.
Our so-called real world may expand to the whole solar system,
and our world of Revelation will be the complete immensity.
Blessed are the generations of man after 2021.

Bahá’u'lláh declares that all mankind should attain knowledge and acquire an education. This is a necessary principle of religious belief and observance, characteristically new in this dispensation.”

It doesn’t have to be career wise, but just tell me what you really want. Why do you want it? How long have you wanted it?
I’ve always wanted to be a director, since I was little I’d always taken an intrest in films. I want to be like Tim Burton. I know what you’re thinking, CREEPY,but I think he’s just so amazing, and cool.

I want to witness with my own eyes the Kingdom
of God on earth. A microcosm of it already appeared
to my eyes in Haifa, Israel, when I made pilgrimage
to the Baha’i Shrines in May 2012.
People from all over the world come there for service
of world peace, in love, unity, hope, joy and reverence.
All of them are humble, smiling, amiable, and willingly
giving in silence their lives for the happiness of others.
Most noble feelings, most beautiful sceneries, most
delicate signs of God’s grace are found there.
Stories about building the foundation of the Divine
Kingdom are shared among residents and visitors.
And here, on the Internet, I can read glad news about
the sacrificial efforts of the devoted builders. Each day
for me now is a greater day of happiness.
Yes, it is really hard to believe that such a dream
is becoming reality. I think that everyone can verify
my words by going to the place or by surfing the Internet.
God never fails in His Promise.

HOW YOU REACT BEFORE THE SAVIOR?

What if there was a true savior in the world today? (100% real, just imagine) How would you and the world react?

Good Question? (3)

Posted by pukirahe Sep 29th, 2012 at 6:22PM

People of the world are against Him and I may be one among them.
The True Savior is always here with us and we are always
against Him.
The reason is that each of us imagines about the Savior
in a funnily different way; so we can never know the true Savior
to welcome Him.
We think that He must be omniscient and omnispotent
to understand us and to satisfy all our needs, but we
cannot understand what is omniscience and omnipotence.
We even don’t know what we need.
The fact is that we are against God, our Living Creator.
We are against Baha’u'llah, the Savior from God
for our collective Age of maturity.
We are praying for the coming of the Promised One,
we are building houses at the foot of Mount Carmel
to wait for Him, we lament about the delay of His
salvation, and we ignore Him when He comes and
bears all sufferings for our freedom.
Alas! Alas! Our Father wants us to grow up,
while we keep on behaving like little kids of the
primitive time. Yes, kids of today are growing
like giants – spiritual giants.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Although the noble conduct of the Prophets and Holy Ones of God is widely known, and it is indeed, until the coming of the Hour,[1] in every aspect of life  an excellent pattern for all mankind to follow, nevertheless some have remained neglectful of and separated from these qualities of extraordinary sympathy and loving-kindness, and have been prevented from attaining to the inner significances of the Holy Books. Not only do they scrupulously shun the adherents of religions other than their own, they do not even permit themselves to show them common courtesy. If one is not allowed to associate with another, how can one guide him out of the dark and empty night of denial, of “there-is-no-God,” into the bright morning of belief, and the affirmation, “but God.”[2]

(Abdu’l-Baha, The Secret of Divine Civilization, p. 53)

[1 Qur'án 33:63: "Men will ask Thee of 'the Hour.' Say: The knowledge of it is with God alone." Cf. also 22:1, "the earthquake of the Hour," etc. See also Matthew 24:36, 42, etc. To Bahá'ís, this refers to the Advent of the Báb and

Bahá'u'lláh.]

I thought I was, but in reality I am not.
Before I had no time to pray, to visit
frends, to take care of my children…
Now, I make a schedule for all things
to be done at different levels of priority.
So, I am completely free. If sleep is necessary
for health recovery, I can sleep more than ten
hours a day. If answering questions up here
causes my mind to function normally again,
I can get late to bed and early to rise. If prayers
restore in me a peaceful mind, I can pray many
times during the day….
For some people 24 hours seem insufficient,
for others a day is too long to waste away.
Yes, that is the problem of free will. Otherwise,
all people should be put in the military camps
to spend time the same way.

Abdul-Baha says:

“In this way Bahá’u'lláh expressed the oneness of humankind, whereas in all religious teachings of the past the human world has been represented as divided into two parts: one known as the people of the Book of God, or the pure tree, and the other the people of infidelity and error, or the evil tree. The former were considered as belonging to the faithful, and the others to the hosts of the irreligious and infidel — one part of humanity the recipients of divine mercy, and the other the object of the wrath of their Creator. Bahá’u'lláh removed this by proclaiming the oneness of the world of humanity, and this principle is specialized in His teachings, for He has submerged all mankind in the sea of divine generosity. Some are asleep; they need to be awakened. Some are ailing; they need to be healed. Some are immature as children; they need to be trained. But all are recipients of the bounty and bestowals of God.”

WHY PEOPLE WANT TO LIVE?

Why people want to live?

Asked By: memory35grt (31-35) 1 hour ago

Posted by pukirahe Sep 26th, 2012 at 3:23AM

Because life is precious, pleasant and progressive.
People love precious things. Almost all people rush
ahead activley for gold, diamond, divinity. Then, we
spend most of our time for funs. Billions of people are
spending trillions of hours to play digital game, Olympic
games, war games and all sorts of entertainments
which become man’s most developped industry. And
we use these two things for progress. We want physical
and spiritual progress in this world and in the world to come
Some crazy people also want to die, but the number is
insignificant. If life is not precious, pleasant, progressive
then life may become a dull cemetary!
Since the day we have the Internet, it seems that life
is becoming more precious, more pleasant and more
progressive. In the past we have not had such a promising
forum for urgent optimism, super empowerment like TED
(for ideas worth spreading).

Shoghi Effendi says:

“… the young Bahá’ís in every city should make a point of keeping in touch with local youth activities and clubs, and endeavouring to make their views known to as many young people in as many ways as possible. Above all they should set a high example to them; chastity, politeness, friendliness, hospitality, joyous optimism about the ultimate future happiness and well being of mankind, should distinguish them and win over to them the love and admiration of their fellow youth. The thing which is most conspicuously lacking in modern life is a high standard of conduct and good character; the young Bahá’ís must demonstrate both, if they hope to seriously win over to the Faith members of their own generation, so sorely disillusioned and so contaminated by the laxity war gives rise to.”
