No dsitance, because the soul is mother of sight
and all other senses, powers, capacities.
Without the soul we cannot perceive, think and act.
It is our urdent job is to attain the knowledge of
our mighty and immortal soul.
Today, all this knowledge can be found easily
in the Holy Books freely accessible on the Internet.
Links are also placed on the Blogroll of my blog
at wordpress.com right at your finger tip.
It is exyremely regretful for any individual who
deprives himself this greatest blessing in this Day
of God, Who is the Creator of all worlds and Father
of all human beings.

Baha’u’llah says:

“2. O SON OF SPIRIT! The bird seeketh its nest; the nightingale the charm of the rose; whilst those birds, the hearts of men, content with transient dust, have strayed far from their eternal nest, and with eyes turned towards the slough of heedlessness are bereft of the glory of the divine presence. Alas! How strange and pitiful; for a mere cupful, they have turned away from the billowing seas of the Most High, and remained far from the most effulgent horizon.”

(Baha’u'llah, The Persian Hidden Words)

MY PILGRIM’S NOTES DAY THREE

Pilgrim’s Notes of a Baha’i

The Bahá’í Gardens in Haifa and ‘Akko

With over half a million visitors a year, the Bahá’í Gardens inHaifaand ‘Akko are among the most popular sites in theMiddle East. Their unique design, combining geometrical shapes and exquisite detailing with loving conservation of natural and historic landscape features, leaves an indelible impression on visitors. Many return again and again to experience the changing seasons and relive the serene tranquility and uplifting spirit of these special places.

In July 2008, the Bahá’í Gardens in Haifa and ‘Akko were inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List, in recognition of their “outstanding universal value” as holy places and places of pilgrimage for the followers of the Bahá’í Faith.

Like all great works of art, these extraordinary sites are tangible expressions of the human spirit. Here the impetus was not the creativity of a great artist, but rather the loving labor and sacrifice of many people from diverse origins and several generations, inspired by a common faith and an optimistic vision of our collective future.

The Bahá’í Gardens in Haifa »

These gardens, located in the heart ofHaifa, comprise a staircase of nineteen terraces extending all the way up the northern slope ofMount Carmel. The golden-domed Shrine of the Báb, the resting place of the Prophet-Herald of the Bahá’í Faith, stands on the central terrace, looking across the bay towards ‘Akko.

While different parts of the gardens offer a variety of experiences, they speak in a common language of graveled paths, hedges and flower beds groomed and nurtured by dedicated gardeners. The gardens frame panoramic views of the city, the Galilee Hills and theMediterranean Sea.

The Bahá’í Gardens in ‘Akko »

The gardens at Bahjí in ‘Akkoform a wide circle surrounding the historic mansion where Bahá’u’lláh, the Prophet-Founder of the Bahá’í Faith, resided during the final years of His life and the shrine where His remains were laid to rest.

The approach to the circular garden is a long, straight path framed with cypress trees and informal plantings. As you walk, the silence seems to grow in intensity. Entering the heart of the site is like arriving in a world of peace and serenity, a wall-less sanctuary that is protected without being enclosed.

In two previous days, I have presented to you the physical and spiritual gardens in the world of God. Today, I present to you another garden within our own self, which also need be beautified by the guidance of God:

“3. O FRIEND! In the garden of thy heart plant naught but the rose of love, and from the nightingale of affection and desire loosen not thy hold. Treasure the companionship of the righteous and eschew all fellowship with the ungodly.” (Baha’u'llah, The Persian Hidden Words)

Yes, without the education of Baha’u’llah, how can mankind enjoy such great festivities and how to live happily from eternity to eternity?

THINK LIKE A MAN AND ACT LIKE A LADY?

Think like a man and act like a lady …what does it mean?

It is also wise to say: “Think like a lady and act like man.”
Because thinking and acting cannot be separated,
while male and female wisdom is necessarily one
and the same.
All philosophies in the Cycle of Adam are
from male domination and patriarchal prejudice.
We are now living in the Age of maturity,
in which men and women must have equal
opportunities for education, for thought and action.
Otherwise, this ancient mess will keep us
in our low state of barbarism.

that was some explanation! :) you are so right! ;)

Our world really suffers with separation of thinking from action, of the muscular strength from compassionate encouragement… We need new thinking.

Abdul-Baha says:

“It is not attached to home and comfort nor is it limited to nest and abode. Nay, rather, it is intoxicated with the wine of the love of God, singing at all times the anthems and praises of the Almighty. This is the habit and custom of heavenly birds; this is the manner and conduct of the nightingale of the rose garden of the Merciful! “(Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 34)

SHOULD WE GO BACK TO A DICTATORSHIP?

Should we consider going back to A DICTATORSHIP?

Year od Dragon, Day 51

For millennia, most of us want that some powerful leader
will solve all our problems: he provides us with good food,
clothing, transportation, healthcare, freedom
and all other human rights!…
He promised, he succeeded for some time, and when he
became powerful enough, he tells us that austerity
must be the real condition all over the world!
Luxury is reserved only for him and his ministers.
We become disappointed, then revolutions
follow revolutions….
I pray to God and He shows me the way
beyond all these politics. Wishing that other
people will pray and seek for the guidance of God.

Baha’u’llah says:

“1. O YE PEOPLE THAT HAVE MINDS TO KNOW AND EARS TO HEAR!
The first call of the Beloved is this: O mystic nightingale! Abide not but in the rose-garden of the spirit. O messenger of the Solomon of love! Seek thou no shelter except in the Sheba of the well-beloved, and O immortal phoenix! dwell not save on the mount of faithfulness. Therein is thy habitation, if on the wings of thy soul thou soarest to the realm of the infinite and seekest to attain thy goal.”

The nightingale.
It is beautiful even without your seeing it.
It sends sweet melodies to your ears during the night
while praisiing the enchanting fragrance of roses
in an atmosphere of love, of unfading love.

Baha’u’llah says:

“Release yourselves, O nightingales of God, from the thorns and brambles of wretchedness and misery, and wing your flight to the rose-garden of unfading splendor. O My friends that dwell upon the dust! Haste forth unto your celestial habitation. Announce unto yourselves the joyful tidings: “He Who is the Best-Beloved is come! He hath crowned Himself with the glory of God’s Revelation, and hath unlocked to the face of men the doors of His ancient Paradise.”” (Baha’u'llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha’u'llah, p. 319)
