Working with love is useful.
Working without love is waste of time.
Love selflessly is useful.
Love for possessions is waste of time.
Usefulness for other people is good.
Usefulness for oneself is waste of time.
Serve other people in love of God is good.
Serve other people for popularity is waste of time.
Love God for the sake of God is good.
Love God for the reward of paradise is waste of time.

Abdul-Baha says:

“But Thou hast glorified Me through My remembrance of Thee, hast exalted Me through My praise of Thee, hast graciously aided Me through the revelations of Thy oneness, and hast conferred upon Me a great honour through the effulgent splendours of Thine ancient eternity. To the fire Thou dost command, ‘Be thou a soothing balm unto My Servant’, and to the prison, ‘Be thou a seat of tender compassion to My Servant, as a token from My presence’. Yea, I swear by Thy glory; to Me the prison hath proved to be naught but the most delightful garden of Paradise and hath served as the noblest spot in the realm above.”

Good Question? (8)

Posted by pukirahe Oct 24th, 2012 at 3:42AM

Because life is the most precious
and most mysterious of all things.
Life is precious, because it growing, advancing
and reaching the highest physical and spiritual
summits all existence. See how large, how
intelligent, how intellectual is the inorganic Internet,
and we will continue to develop it in all aspect
and all directions. But it can never act against
our will.
Life is mysterious, because there are still other
properties and attributes that we don’t know.
We can never create it. And as long as we exist,
we can still make more interesting discoveries.
By His love, God creates us for us to know
and to enjoy His hidden treasuries.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Then our life will be revivified, we shall enjoy eternal existence, be refreshed with the breath of the Holy Spirit and become informed of the mysteries of creation. Then we shall be inspired to upraise the standard of the oneness of humanity; we shall take a portion of the divine grace and become resplendent with the rays of the heavenly luminary; then the human race will mirror forth the attributes of the eternal kingdom and will move like a peaceful sea and each individual will appear as a wave. As we look upon the sea, we will comprehend it as the sea of God; as we look upon the waves, we will realize that they are the souls of humanity. The sun is one; all light is one; the rays are one; it shines on all.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 171)

LOVE COMES TO THOSE WHO WAIT?

Does true love really come to those who wait?

Asked By: Twilightangel29 (26-30, F) 35 minutes ago

Posted by pukirahe Oct 21st, 2012 at 8:16AM

Love is not a thing like a material gift to be given or received.
People whom I love they don’t know; people who love
me I don’t know. I think that you don’t know that I love
you, and I don’t know that you love me.So love is a noble
sentiment that is given unnoticed.
Only God knows His love for us and our love for Him.
But we don’t know His love for us. If we are religious, we
believe; if we are not, we don’t believe and we never know.
Love among lovers are belief, not knowledge. So, in order
to be happy in love, we just love and do not expect to
receive anything as we imagine in our mind.
Wishing you happiness in true love from your heart.

Baha’u’llah says:

“Protect, moreover, O my Beloved, through Thy love for them and through the love they bear to Thee, this servant, who hath sacrificed his all for Thee, and expended whatsoever Thou hast given him in the path of Thy love and Thy good pleasure, and preserve him from all that Thou abhorrest, and from whatsoever may hinder him from entering into the Tabernacle of Thy holy sovereignty, and from attaining the seat of Thy transcendent oneness.”

BRINGING BACK THE HIPPIE MOVEMENT?

Who thinks we should bring back the hippie movement? And why

Asked By: hl1984 (26-30, F) 14 minutes ago

Good Question? (6)

Posted by pukirahe Oct 19th, 2012 at 9:42PM

A good effect of that movement was its showing of burning
desire for peace, with efforts to break down all
prejudices, all formalities, all traditional restrictions.
But wishing or opposing is not positive enough to
cause radical change to the old society.
We need newer concept about life and more positive
measures for change. This must be done through education.
This may take time, but this is the best way in the history of man.
We can only attain high civilization under the education of
Buddha, of Christ, of Baha’u'llah.
The more we serve actively for this high ideal, the more
we will meet other people of good will in this field. Our world
is changing not in the name of a movement, but in the
quiet change of the human hearts.
All hearts love and want to serve the Cause of peace,
prosperity and progress.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Those efforts which create general interest are universal; their results are likewise universal for humanity has become interdependent. The international laws of to-day are of vast importance, for as international politics bring nations nearer to one another – and thus promote a bond of oneness which acts as a magnet to attract the divine confirmations – the results and benefits are limitless. Therefore, let us say that every universal cause is divine and every personal matter is human or limited.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 141)

COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH YOUR LIFE?

Have you ever felt completely satisfied with your life?

Asked By: artisticmuse (41-45, F) 13 minutes ago

Posted by pukirahe Oct 8th, 2012 at 4:50PM

I am content, but not completely satisfied.
Content because I know that God’s creation is good;
not satisfied because I am not perfect; I must keep
on learning to make progress.
Life is not an addition of moments or events, but
it is an eternal process to come closer and closer
to the One True God.
This process composes the ups and downs, failures and
successes, gains and losses… that cause the development
of spiritual qualities besowed by God to each individual.
Therefore, each person has her/his own ways to live
and will be judged only by God.

All medals have their reverse faces.
Glory may become humility; then humility glory.
But rules also have exceptions.
Usually, optimism is better than pessimism.
With optimism, we would go an extra mile,
we andvance another step, we wait for one
more second, then things may change.
The more we look into the positive effects of
things, the better we will master our own life.
Examples about this reality are quite abundant
on the Internet as well as in real life. Interview

see how optimism has changed miraculously their lives.

Abdul-Baha says:

“This meeting of yours tonight is very different in character. It is a universal gathering; it is heavenly and divine in purpose because it serves the oneness of the world of humanity and promotes international peace. It is devoted to the solidarity and brotherhood of the human race, the spiritual welfare of mankind, unity of religious belief through knowledge of God and the reconciliation of religious teaching with the principles of science and reason. It promotes love and fraternity among all humankind, seeks to abolish and destroy barriers which separate the human family, proclaims the equality of man and woman, instills divine precepts and morals, illumines and quickens minds with heavenly perception, attracts the infinite bestowals of God, removes racial, national and religious prejudices and establishes the foundation of the heavenly Kingdom in the hearts of all nations and peoples.”

We are all annoying, because we know nothing like them.
What is true, what is good, what is beautiful? We really dont know.
I answer questions up here, not to show that I know,
but to show that we know nothing, and we better observe
the rule of mutual love and mutual respect, to reach temporary
agreements for our daily life.
You are free to think, to say, to do anything which
you consider as true, good and beautiful. We let other
people living their way. Then we tolerantly agree to agree,
or to silently disagree, on anything in order that we
will have peace to think a little more deeply and to act
a little more civilized than yesterday.
Then, generations to come will contemplate a world full of
light in the night sky and feel proud about the inventions
of their ancesrors.
Then we will look dowm from heavens
to contemplate greater achievements of our descendants.
Isn’t that our joy? So, what is the use of all disputes,
conflicts and wars!

“A new religious principle is that prejudice and fanaticism — whether sectarian, denominational, patriotic or political — are destructive to the foundation of human solidarity; therefore, man should release himself from such bonds in order that the oneness of the world of humanity may become manifest.

Universal peace is assured by Bahá’u'lláh as a fundamental accomplishment of the religion of God — that peace shall prevail among nations, governments and peoples, among religions, races and all conditions of mankind. This is one of the special characteristics of the Word of God revealed in this Manifestation.”

Yes, very much.

people there combine wisely the teachings of China
with Buddhism from India.
The Chinese people are really creative, hard working
and philosophically profound.
When talking about the Eastern or the Oriental civilization,

I want to live in China and to learn the great virtues of its people.

I want to consult with the netizens about all matters
concerning human life, especially the spirituality,
man’s true essence.
I believe that, with the Internet, our consultations
can be carried out freely, frankly and respectfully
to lead to mutual understanding for transforming
our world in a positive way.
Once we recognize the basic unity of One God,
One Mankind, One Religion… we may effectively
avoid lots of useless disputes which are disturbing
our communities.
I see that all our wildest dreams will be realized

“Now is he struck dumb with the beauty of the All-Glorious; again is he wearied out with his own life. How many a mystic tree hath this whirlwind of wonderment snatched by the roots, how many a soul hath it exhausted. For in this Valley the traveler is flung into confusion, albeit, in the eye of him who hath attained, such marvels are esteemed and well beloved. At every moment he beholdeth a wondrous world, a new creation, and goeth from astonishment to astonishment, and is lost in awe at the works of the Lord of Oneness.”

I thought I was, but in reality I am not.
Before I had no time to pray, to visit
frends, to take care of my children…
Now, I make a schedule for all things
to be done at different levels of priority.
So, I am completely free. If sleep is necessary
for health recovery, I can sleep more than ten
hours a day. If answering questions up here
causes my mind to function normally again,
I can get late to bed and early to rise. If prayers
restore in me a peaceful mind, I can pray many
times during the day….
For some people 24 hours seem insufficient,
for others a day is too long to waste away.
Yes, that is the problem of free will. Otherwise,
all people should be put in the military camps
to spend time the same way.

Abdul-Baha says:

“In this way Bahá’u'lláh expressed the oneness of humankind, whereas in all religious teachings of the past the human world has been represented as divided into two parts: one known as the people of the Book of God, or the pure tree, and the other the people of infidelity and error, or the evil tree. The former were considered as belonging to the faithful, and the others to the hosts of the irreligious and infidel — one part of humanity the recipients of divine mercy, and the other the object of the wrath of their Creator. Bahá’u'lláh removed this by proclaiming the oneness of the world of humanity, and this principle is specialized in His teachings, for He has submerged all mankind in the sea of divine generosity. Some are asleep; they need to be awakened. Some are ailing; they need to be healed. Some are immature as children; they need to be trained. But all are recipients of the bounty and bestowals of God.”
