MAN AND WOMAN ARE EQUAL?

Do you really believe that man and woman are equal?

Good Question? (5)

All humans are equal, regardless of gender,
because all are the breath of the Holy Spirit.
Their mission on earth are the same: to know
God and to serve His Divine Cause. Finally,
all come from Him, so all will return to Him.
In the primitive age, men thought they are better,
because with muscular strength they dominate
the family physically and economically. And
because of this inequality, socities made very slow
progress.
The conditions only change in recent centuries,
when Baha’u'llah taught about true equality among
mankind. And mature humans have made greater
of efforts in various fields of activities to cause the
radical change. And still women have not yet enjoyed
complete equality in education, employment and
governance of socities. More changes need be made
for a better world in the future.

Abdul-Baha says:

“People get together and talk, but it is God’s Word alone that is powerful in its results. Consider for a moment: you would not trade together if you had no income from it and derived no benefit! Look at the followers of Christ. Their power was due to their ardour and their deeds. Every effort must have its result, else it is not a true effort. You must become the means of lighting the world of humanity. This is the infallible proof and sign. Every progress depends on two things, knowledge and practice. First acquire knowledge, and, when conviction is reached, put it into practice.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Abdu’l-Baha in London, p. 107)

WHY IS LIFE SO PAINFUL?

Why does life is so painful?

Asked By: floralgirl (26-30, F) 26 minutes ago

Because of attachment.
All desirable bonds cut off causing pain.
Pain of being cut from love is almost unbearable.
When we learn to love selflessly, unconditionally,
universally, we are relieving from all pains.
In order to practice selfless love we need to
go through a proper education to have true knowledge
about the essence of love, why and how we should love.
Today, this perfect education, physical, human, divine,
is freely available on the Internet for people in cities
as well as in remote islands. Seek and you can find
easily.
This is the Day that knowledge overflows like seas
covered by water as prophesied by Christ. We only
have to get it and translate it into action.

Abdul-Baha says:

As everything evolves, so also does religion – as witness the doctrines that are losing their influence today. All religious rites and ceremonies, when adhered to, become the cause of destruction and struggle. Look at the war in the Balkans. Can you imagine anything more terrible? Men have arisen against their brothers and both armies think they act in accordance with principle. If each side would put into practice the true principles of its own religion, there could be no further strife.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 67)

The person, who believes in Jesus,
knows that He is always here with
the human race.
The person, who wants to seek for
the salvation from Jesus, will see Him
through His teachings here on the
Internet.
The person, who wants to make jokes
about Jesus, may get lost eternally.
Wishing that you are humble before Him.

Abdul-Baha says:

“There are fellow-beings who are weaker than we are, let us strengthen them; there are those who are more ignorant, we must teach them; some are as children, help them to develop; many are asleep, awaken them; others are ill, heal them; never despise them. Be kinder to them than to the stronger ones. One must always be kinder to the weak and ill and to the children. Never seek to humiliate your brother.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 97)

DO WE REALLY KNOW HOW TO LIVE HAPPILY?

Do we really know what kind of life we wish to live ? Or is it just what we believe will makes us happy ?

Answer by pukirahe Apr 11th, 2012 at 6:27AM

Yes, we really know.
God gives us pens, note books, directions,
intelligence and freedom to make our personal design.
Myself and millions of my friends are living happily
based on these facts.
Now I point out some of them for your verification:

Learning, learning seriously, especially about life and death.
Apply humbly and responsibly what we have learned.
Always rely on divine prayers for guidance to solve our problems.
Working hard for livelihood but in the spirit of service to mankind.
Associate closely with people in our community
to exchange views on individual and community advancement.
Myself and my friends see the good results of our life
right in the first year of learning and practice.
Wishing you good luck.

The waking up of all Christians to welcome
the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
There is no use to waste so much time and money
on physical entertainments, especially on eating
and drinking.
Christ comes not for earthly amusements,
but for guiding all humans to the eternal life.
Happy Christmas! Happy New Spiritual Christmas!

“Were it not for the love of God the holy books would not have been revealed. Were it not for the love of God the divine prophets would not have been sent to the world. The foundation of all these bestowals is the love of God. Therefore in the human world there is no greater power than the love of God. It is the love of God which has brought us together here tonight. It is the love of God which is affiliating the East and the West. It is the love of God which has resuscitated the world. Now we must offer thanks to God that such a great bestowal and effulgence has been revealed to us.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Foundations of World Unity, p. 90)

HAVE YOU SEEN “GOOD DEEDS THAT HAVE BAD EFFECTS”?

Have you seen “good deeds that have bad effects”?

Asked By: daniman 32 minutes ago

Answer by pukirahe Sep 25th, 2011 at 4:54AM

A lot:
A girl is doing lots of good deeds to a man,
she brings the wife of that man into madness.
A man is doing lots of good deeds to a girl,
then she becomes his slave.
See what are the effects of European bombings
on the lives of the people of Lybia. This case is
more confusing than the two previous cases!
I think that I cannot tell what are good and what are bad deeds,
but only the doers and the people affected know their intention.

Abdul-Baha says:

Although a person of good deeds is acceptable at the Threshold of the Almighty, yet it is first “to know,” and then “to do.” Although a blind man produceth a most wonderful and exquisite art, yet he is deprived of seeing it. Consider how most animals labor for man, draw loads and facilitate travel; yet, as they are ignorant, they receive no reward for this toil and labor. The cloud raineth, roses and hyacinths grow; the plain and meadow, the garden and trees become green and blossom; yet they do not realize the results and outcome of all these. The lamp is lighted, but as it hath not a conscious knowledge of itself, no one hath become glad because of it. Moreover, a soul of excellent deeds and good manners will undoubtedly advance from whatever horizon he beholdeth the lights radiating. Herein lies the difference: By faith is meant, first, conscious knowledge, and second, the practice of good deeds.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Baha’i World Faith – Abdu’l-Baha Section, p. 382)

FAITH IS NOT BLIND IMITATION BUT IT IS THE BEGINNING OF LEARNING

Has anything ever happened to you that you cannot explain?

Answer by Tu Nga

All things are mysterious. We can learn to know only the outside phenomena, but never the essence of things. We read the Holy Books, put the sacred verses into practice, and meditate to get to know first our own self, and from there we gradually discover the world outside. Therefore, faith is not blind imitation, but it is the beginning of learning.

Baha’u’llah says:

“But for the tribulations that have touched Me in the path of God, life would have held no sweetness for Me, and Mine existence would have profited Me nothing. For them who are endued with discernment, and whose eyes are fixed upon the Sublime Vision, it is no secret that I have been, most of the days of My life, even as a slave, sitting under a sword hanging on a thread, knowing not whether it would fall soon or late upon him. And yet, notwithstanding all this We render thanks unto God, the Lord of the worlds, and yield Him praise at all times and under all conditions. He, verily, standeth witness over all things.” (Baha’u'llah, The Summons of the Lord of Hosts, p. 135)
