Good Question? (13)

Posted by pukirahe Nov 16th, 2012 at 9:12PM

Religion has lead me through all ups and downs happily.
Life is naturally full of ups and downs, while straight line
only symbolises death!
Moreover, religion teaches me that life is not mere efforts
for existence like lower creatures. It is a living journey over
high summits of love, unity, peace, progress and civilization.
Particularly, in this Age of human maturity, each and all
individuals can obtain universal education, via Internet,
about all great matters of life: God, creation, mankind, eternal
obligation and purpose….
To think and act in uniformity with traditions is no longer suitable.
Now, we are facing tests and receiving great knowledge to solve all
global problems with spiritual and systematic solutions.
We can see these new subjects on various Websites of the UN
and its agencies. This is not the enterprise of leaders, but it is
the obligation of all 6 billion rational beings.

Baha’u’llah says:

“That which traineth the world is Justice, for it is upheld by two pillars, reward and punishment. These two pillars are the sources of life to the world. Inasmuch as for each day there is a new problem and for every problem an expedient solution, such affairs should be referred to the Ministers of the House of Justice that they may act according to the needs and requirements of the time. They that, for the sake of God, arise to serve His Cause, are the recipients of divine inspiration from the unseen Kingdom. It is incumbent upon all to be obedient unto them. All matters of State should be referred to the House of Justice, but acts of worship must be observed according to that which God hath revealed in His Book.”

Good Question? (6)

Posted by pukirahe Oct 30th, 2012 at 2:42AM

Ignorance itself is hell.
All wrongdoings, sufferings, damages are
the fruit of blindness of the mind.
Denial of God, disobedience to His Will,
transgression are also the absence of divine light.
That is why we must provide education,
providing human and divine light to their mind,
so that they will find out the way to knowledge
and wisdom, to joy and progress, to civilization
and immortality.
Heaven and hell are not two physical places above
and below the earth; they are only ignorance and knowledge.

Abdul-Baha says:

“How long shall we drift on the wings of passion and vain desire; how long shall we spend our days like barbarians in the depths of ignorance and abomination? God has given us eyes, that we may look about us at the world, and lay hold of whatsoever will further civilization and the arts of living. He has given us ears, that we may hear and profit by the wisdom of scholars and philosophers and arise to promote and practice it. Senses and faculties have been bestowed upon us, to be devoted to the service of the general good; so that we, distinguished above all other forms of life for perceptiveness and reason, should labor at all times and along all lines, whether the occasion be great or small, ordinary or extraordinary, until all mankind are safely gathered into the impregnable stronghold of knowledge.” (Abdu’l-Baha, The Secret of Divine Civilization, p. 3)

Good Question? (9)

Posted by pukirahe Oct 29th, 2012 at 6:40PM

Because death unprepared is horrible.
We must learn to have true knowledge
and make good preparations for our death.
The embryo is prepared with physical senses
to use in this longer life.
We have free will to make preparations for
spiritual senses to live eternally after this world.
We want to die because we don’t see the meaning
of this life. Our ignorance and spiritual blindness
in such longer life is really more miserable than
hellfire.
God is giving people many chances to learn His
counsels. Let us seek for them for the benefit of
our own life. Knowledge will give us happiness
right here and now. Then we will not fear both
life or death.

CHICKEN OR EGG …… AN AGE-OLD QUESTION?

What came first the chicken or the egg …… an age old question

Asked By: roger1960 (51-55, M) 1 hour ago

Posted by pukirahe Oct 23rd, 2012 at 4:50PM

The egg without germ cannot become chicken.
So the imaginary egg existing in the theory of
Big Bang cannot be the mother of the chicken.
The creation is in reality without beginning and
without end, so this question is no longer a question.
It is like asking God or the creation exists first,
body or soul exists first, cloud or water exists first?…
Man’s knowledge is limited by time and space,
so we cannot answer questions relating to eternity.
Believers in God seek for answers in the Holy Books
for broader, profounder meanings and more suitable
to high intelligence.

Baha’u’llah says:

“As to thy question whether the physical world is subject to any limitations, know thou that the comprehension of this matter dependeth upon the observer himself. In one sense, it is limited; in another, it is exalted beyond all limitations. The one true God hath everlastingly existed, and will everlastingly continue to exist. His creation, likewise, hath had no beginning, and will have no end. All that is created, however, is preceded by a cause. This fact, in itself, establisheth, beyond the shadow of a doubt, the unity of the Creator.”

WHY IDOLIZE ANOTHER PERSON?

Why idolize another person?

Asked By: aptuck2010 (26-30, F) 23 minutes ago

is admiration not eough??

Posted by pukirahe Oct 21st, 2012 at 4:13PM

You are right, admiration is enough.
In the past, people of great talents were rare,
so they get high position among the primitive masses.
Today, almost all individuals can get good education,
to become kings, stars, champions… on all aspects
of human activities. And new personalities appear
every day.
This is correct with the mature human race. True equality
is that all individuals among the masses being able to reach
high summits of excellence, each in one’s own glory, and no one
is idol with others worship as blind followers.
EP is successful because for years we only have EP friends
without idols and fans. Millions of members are working
with equal admiration in all sections.

Abdul-Baha says:

“May the light of divine advancement shine upon you. This is the glory and progress of man. This is eternal life.

Brotherhood and sisterhood that is founded on a universal love is precious. It is not like the material kind which is soon forgotten and, perhaps, changed to hatred before this life is over. Material brothers and sisters seldom have lasting affection for each other, but this divine relationship is eternal. In the world of God it will become more clear and manifest.”

DARKEST CHAPTER IN HUMAN HISTORY?

What is the darkest chapters in human history?

Asked By: artbandit (31-35, M) 25 minutes ago

The previous chapter, ended in the first decade (2010).
It is the Dawn of this glorious century, which has
not been fully aware and promoted. Most of man’s
activities still continue as in the previous century.
This decade (2011-2020) must achieve hundreds of times greater
than that decade, with Internet, Skype, Ipad and more
marvelous discoveries and inventions will come soon.
Parents, caretakers, teachers…should not restirct the
mental development of the tender generation now.
Make radical change in our personal role, not to
beat, to abuse or to humiliate children in any of our
own ways. It is not at all correct to implement the measures of
the Middle Age.
Please, make urgent change in the field of education,
especially about the cildren in their tender ages. Let none
continue to be contaminated by the primitive behaviors.
Yes, darkness in this Age of Light is darker than any other
period of time in the past. Let our children to be immersed
in the ocean of Light.

Abdul-Baha says:

“The world of existence is like unto an orchard and humanity is like unto the trees. All these trees are planted in the same orchard, reared through the heat of one sun, watered with one rain. We must be the cause of the adornment of this orchard. The world of humanity is like unto a rose garden and the various races, tongues and people are like unto contrasting flowers. The diversity of colors in a rose-garden adds to the charm and beauty of the scene as variety enhances unity. Why should we not look upon the human world with rose-colored vision?” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 183)

BASIC EDUCATION PROGRAM IMPORTANT?

Is the implementation of k-12 Basic Education Program really important? why?

Asked By: gen2 (18-21, F) 1 hour ago

Posted by pukirahe Oct 18th, 2012 at 4:27AM

The whole system is outdated and collapsing.
Children of our days can finish high school
program at twelve and college at fifteen. After
that they are able to continue higher education by themselves.
Our program today are too heavy with useless data
and the whole knowledge is narrowly for the service of the nation
(while proper education must train our children for
serving efficiently and lovingly the whole human race.)
Times and again, I keep on calling makers of policies
and educators to do something urgently for this most
important matter. New problems of the wolrd cannot
be solved with solutions and knowledge of former centuries.
I know that this will surely be done when we fall into
deeper abysses. So, it is always wiser to solve
our problems before they become too late.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Behind our solar system there are unfathomable stellar systems and above those stellar systems are the remote aggregations of the milky way. Extend your vision beyond the fixed stars and again you shall behold many spheres of light. In brief, the creation of the Almighty is beyond the grasp of the human intellect. When this objective creation is unlimited and not subject to suspension, is not the subjective creation of His Majesty the Almighty limitless? When the reflection or physical creation is infinite, how is it possible to circumscribe the reality which is the basis of divine creation? The spiritual world is so much greater than the physical that in comparison with it the physical world is non-existent.”

Baha’u’llah says:

“Break not the bond that uniteth you with your Creator, and be not of those that have erred and strayed from His ways. Verily I say, the world is like the vapor in a desert, which the thirsty dreameth to be water and striveth after it with all his might, until when he cometh unto it, he findeth it to be mere illusion. It may, moreover, be likened unto the lifeless image of the beloved whom the lover hath sought and found, in the end, after long search and to his utmost regret, to be such as cannot “fatten nor appease his hunger.”

I think that serenity is returning to your mind.
I used to get into sufferings due to my own faults
or due to undesirable happenings in the surrounding,
Once, I remember God and pray for guidance and
protection, I immediately find peace. Remembrance
of Him reminds me of His education concerning
the blessings He bestows on all mankind from
time immemorial. His divine promise is that
nothing can occur to His servants except that which
is profitable for them.
In order not to get too far from this precious remembrance,
I commit to my heart a number of prayers, I pray many times
during the day, I read the sacred verses and meditate on their
meanings, I translate them into action and other language.
Therefore, the condition of my mind is usually in peace.
