ALL MEN ARE LEARNERS GOD IS SOLE EDUCATOR THROUGH HIS MESSENGERS

Why does creation make sense to you?

I really do want to know, and I would appreciate not being lectured.

Answer by Tu Nga

The conscious believers of the One True God, who learn the teachings and do the Will of God, see the meaning of the world of creation and the world of revelation.
People who refuse to learn dispute vainlessly about all things, from egg to chicken, from ape to man, from dust to unkowable universe.

Abdul-Baha says:

“To man, the Essence of God is incomprehensible, so also are the worlds beyond this, and their condition. It is given to man to obtain knowledge, to attain to great spiritual perfection, to discover hidden truths and to manifest even the attributes of God; but still man cannot comprehend the Essence of God. Where the ever-widening circle of man’s knowledge meets the spiritual world a Manifestation of God is sent to mirror forth His splendour.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Abdu’l-Baha in London, p. 66)

IN LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP ALL MANKIND WILL SEE THEIR GOD AND NOT TOTAL LOSS

Why do some Christians just assume that atheists support everything bad?

I don’t support abortion but that doesn’t make me a christian.I don’t believe in god , the big bang or really anything.I’m just here, now.

It may take time for the believers of the One True God to learn and to practice the good things taught by His Divine Messengers in their Holy Books. But there is hope in people who deny the Source of all good.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Although the noble conduct of the Prophets and Holy Ones of God is widely known, and it is indeed, until the coming of the Hour, in every aspect of life an excellent pattern for all mankind to follow, nevertheless some have remained neglectful of and separated from these qualities of extraordinary sympathy and loving-kindness, and have been prevented from attaining to the inner significances of the Holy Books. Not only do they scrupulously shun the adherents of religions other than their own, they do not even permit themselves to show them common courtesy. If one is not allowed to associate with another, how can one guide him out of the dark and empty night of denial, of “there-is-no-God,” into the bright morning of belief, and the affirmation, “but God.” And how can one urge him on and encourage him to rise up out of the abyss of perdition and ignorance and climb the heights of salvation and knowledge? Consider justly: had not Hanzala treated Nu’man with true friendship, showing him kindness and hospitality, could he have brought the King and a great number of other idolaters to acknowledge the unity of God? (Abdu’l-Baha, The Secret of Divine Civilization, p. 53)

WE ARE FORTUNATE FOR HAVING ALL HOLY BOOKS AT OUR FINGERTIPS

Is Christianity the height of individualism?

Answer by Tu Nga

In the creation of the One True God, each man is a greater world (individualism) and also utter-nothingness (detachment). The individual believer does not waste his life in idleness or to work hard for his personal glory, but he sacrifies his all to manifest the glory of God.
To realize this destiny, each man has to learn and practice the counsels of God in the Holy Books.

Abdul-Baha says:

“God has created us all human and all countries of the world are parts of the same globe. We are all his servants. He is kind and just to all. Why should we be unkind and unjust to each other? He provides for all. Why should we deprive one another? He protects and preserves all. Why should we kill our fellow-creatures? If this warfare and strife be for the sake of religion, it is evident that it violates the spirit and basis of all religion. All the divine Manifestations have proclaimed the oneness of God and the unity of mankind. They have taught that men should love and mutually help each other in order that they might progress. Now if this conception of religion be true, its essential principle is the oneness of humanity. The fundamental truth of the Manifestations is peace. This underlies all religion, all justice. The divine purpose is that men should live in unity, concord and agreement and should love one another. Consider the virtues of the human world and realize that the oneness of humanity is the primary foundation of them all. Read the gospel and the other holy books. You will find their fundamentals are one and the same.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Foundations of World Unity, p. 50)

“Praise be to God, that such a meeting of purity and steadfastness is being held in London. The hearts of those present are pure, and are turned towards the Kingdom of God. I hope that all that is contained and established in the Holy books of God may be realized in you. The Messengers of God are the principal and the first teachers. Whenever this world becomes dark, and divided in its opinions and indifferent, God will send one of His Holy Messengers.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Abdu’l-Baha in London, p. 44)

THICK WALLS OF FANCY SEPARATE HUMANITY INTO STRANGE ALIENS

Can a person be Jewish and a Christian?

Answer by Tu Nga

There is no difference if he believes in the One True God and does His Will, which is the essence of both Judaism and Christianity. The differences only concern names, rituals and prejudices.

Baha’u’llah says:

Moreover, what of the signs of the Manifestation yet to come? These people of Israel are even unto the present day still expecting that Manifestation which the Bible hath foretold! How many Manifestations of Holiness, how many Revealers of the light everlasting, have appeared since the time of Moses, and yet Israel, wrapt in the densest veils of satanic fancy and false imaginings, is still expectant that the idol of her own handiwork will appear with such signs as she herself hath conceived! Thus hath God laid hold of them for their sins, hath extinguished in them the spirit of faith, and tormented them with the flames of the nethermost fire. And this for no other reason except that Israel refused to apprehend the meaning of such words as have been revealed in the Bible concerning the signs of the coming Revelation. As she never grasped their true significance, and, to outward seeming, such events never came to pass, she, therefore, remained deprived of recognizing the beauty of Jesus and of beholding the Face of God. And they still await His coming! (Baha’u’llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha’u’llah, p. 20)

Baha’u’llagh says:

“The first duty prescribed by God for His servants is the recognition of Him Who is the Dayspring of His Revelation and the Fountain of His laws, Who

representeth the Godhead in both the Kingdom of His Cause and the world of creation. Whoso achieveth this duty hath attained unto all good; and whoso is deprived thereof hath gone astray, though he be the author of

every righteous deed. It behoveth every one who reacheth this most sublime station, this summit of transcendent glory, to observe every ordinance of Him

Who is the Desire of the world. These twin duties are inseparable. Neither is acceptable without the other. Thus hath it been decreed by Him Who is the Source of Divine inspiration.”

GOD CREATES ALL THINGS FOR MEN AND PRESERVES FOR HIM ONLY THE PURE HEARTS

Questions about tithes?

I’m currently a senior in College and I will be graduating in June. I have been living on my savings and student loans. Should I be paying tithes out of my the money I get from my student loans? I belong to a chuch but I would rather give my tithes directly to people I know need it.

Answer by Tu Nga

God does not need your loan money. However, if you are a believer you should learn to know that tithing is not wasted, but it is a divine priviledge for your service in His eternal Cause in the salvation of the human race.
