If you feel alone all the time, what are you doing wrong?

Asked By: krystelle148 2 hours ago

Theres always something your subconciously doing, right?…I’d say theres many things that cause the same outcome. What are some things that make you feel alone? How do you change?

Answer by pukirahe Nov 30th, 2011 at 5:13AM

Billions of people are alone, because they think that
they live normally like other persons among the dying masses!
When a person stands out alone and does something wrong,
he will have opponents and supporters.
If he starts learning how to turn opponents into friends,
then the feelings of loneliness will disappear.
Yes, all living beings must do something,
either right or wrong, then they will personally embark on
the amusing journey of life.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Hence, to this honorable congress I say, “Tear asunder the veils and curtains of these dogmas, remove these accumulated, suffocating increments, dispel these dark impenetrable clouds, that the sun of reality may shine from the horizon of eternity.”
Praise be to God that this century is the century of sciences! This cycle is the cycle of reality! The minds have developed; the thoughts have taken a wider range of vision; the intellects have become keener; the emotions have become more sensitized; the inventions have transformed the face of the earth, and this age has acquired a glorious capacity for the majestic revelation of the oneness of the world of humanity.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 161)

How far are we able to choose our beliefs?

Asked By: turtlesplash 1 hour ago

Answer by pukirahe Nov 30th, 2011 at 1:46AM

We are free, capable and independent in choosing our belief.
We are free because we can make choice; we are capable
because we have intelligence, we are independent because
we take the responsibility.
Now, what do we want to believe in: in God, in man, or in
random destiny? After weighing the facts, we freely choose to believe in God.
Why God? Our intelligence will make more profound searching
in nature, in our heart, in various scriptures, and we see that
only the teachings of God are clear and satisfactory.
What if we are wrong? Yes, because we are responsible of our life,
we must make sure that we cannot take the wrong way. Then. more
study, thinking, practice, will strengthen our faith. While we are living, we are still free to change and change again, until when we attain certitude.
We have to think about this matter every day, because it is the most
important purpose of our life: we learn, we make progress and we shape our own destiny, with our own freedom, intelligence, responsibility.
Otherwise, we already denied our station of man, a rational being.

Baha’u’llah says:

“Know ye not that the Hand of God is over your hands, that His Decree transcendeth all your devices, that He is supreme over His servants, that He is equal to His Purpose, that He doth what He wisheth, that He shall not be asked of whatever He willeth, that He ordaineth what He pleaseth, that He is the Most Powerful, the Almighty? If ye believe this to be the truth, wherefore, then, will ye not cease from troubling and be at peace with yourselves? (Baha’u’llah, The Summons of the Lord of Hosts, p. 224)

What comes with Beauty, Money and Success?

Asked By: SimplyNothing 1 hour ago

Answer by pukirahe Nov 29th, 2011 at 3:53PM

With money comes peril, with success comes trial, with beauty comes ugliness! Only spiritual beauty will lead to eternal life. But success in the quest for spiritual beauty can only be assured at the last breath.

Baha’u’llah says:
“Thou shalt, after thy departure, discover what We have revealed unto thee, and shalt find all thy doings recorded in the Book wherein the works of all them that dwell on earth, be they greater or less than the weight of an atom, are noted down. Heed, therefore, My counsel, and hearken thou, with the hearing of thine heart, unto My speech, and be not careless of My words, nor be of them that reject My truth. Glory not in the things that have been given thee.” (Baha’u’llah, The Summons of the Lord of Hosts, p. 226)

What is the most visible sign that God is some where out there?

Asked By: Anto815 2 hours ago

Answer by pukirahe Nov 29th, 2011 at 3:18PM

Love, selfless love among human beings.
Mankind can only love one another selflessly
because they love God.
Otherwise, it is only selfish love with calculations:
love for possession, love for reward, love for all sorts
of earthly attachments.

Baha’u’llah says:

“And when We manifest unto you what God hath, through His bountiful favour, bestowed upon Us, ye say, “It is but plain magic.” The same words were spoken by the generations that were before you and were what ye are, did ye but perceive it. Ye have thereby deprived yourselves of the bounty of God and of His grace, and shall never obtain them till the day when God will have judged between Us and you, and He, verily, is the best of judges.” (Baha’u’llah, The Summons of the Lord of Hosts, p. 227)

Is it just me or do The Four Noble Truths just sound heaps cooler than The Ten Commandments?

The practice of the Four Noble Truths leads us to
the Supreme Truth: The One True God.
The practice of the Ten commandments leads us to
the Supreme Truth: The One True God.
The pratice of the sacred verses in the Holy Books
of other religions also leads us to the Supreme Truth:
The One True God.
All knowledge is useless if it leads us to anything lower than
this SupremeTruth: The One True God, or more precisely,
the good pleasure of God, the Creator and Sustainer of all worlds.

I’ve noticed. You’ve impressed me on EP more than any other religious mind I have engaged with. You’ve annoyed me occasionally by your apparent refusal to step out of “prophet mode” in public, but I can tell that you are real and that you understand cosmic reality. Right now my own faith is young so Baha’i is also too young for me. I’m going backwards through Jesus to Judaism and the root of monotheism and from there… I’m thinking Buddhism but this is like a five-year plan……………..You’re making me realize that Baha’i might actually have the best dogma. It’s just that integrating faiths is a dangerous business, psychically speaking. It’s why I snapped at you over the way you answered my question about ‘our own personal religions.’

Baha’u’llah says:

“For God doth not ask you of your sciences, but of your faith and of your conduct. Are ye greater in wisdom than the One Who brought you into being, Who fashioned the heavens and all that they contain, the earth and all that dwell upon it? Gracious God! True wisdom is His. All creation and its empire are His. He bestoweth His wisdom upon whomsoever He chooseth amongst men, and withholdeth it from whomsoever He desireth. He, in truth, is the Bestower and the Withholder, and He, verily, is the All-Bountiful, the All-Wise.” (Baha’u’llah, The Summons of the Lord of Hosts, p. 234)

Why are rural areas ridiculed alot

Considering the terms redneck, cracker, hick, hillbilly, Country Bumpkin, the Sticks.

Good Question? (4)

Answer by pukirahe Nov 28th, 2011 at 5:54PM

People in big cities have all means of mass media to
promote false values of material opulence!
But, in reality, all spiritual values are preserved
by rural people.
Now, with the bankruptcy of the material enterprises,
more urban citizens are awakening and seeking
for spiritual values in ancient traditions.
Our world will soon become a balanced world
of noble virtues applied in modern technologies.
Rural and urban areas, East and West, material and
spiritual advancement will cause our world to become
a unified global family.

On the first afternoon, while driving, He expressed much interest in rural England, marvelling at the century-old trees, and the vivid green of the woods and downs, so unlike the arid East. “Though it is autumn it seems like spring,” He said. The houses with their little plots of ground, suggested a quotation which ‘Abdu’l-Bahá gave from Bahá’u’lláh’s writings in which the latter alludes to each family having a house with a piece of land. Abdu’l-Bahá likened the country to the soul and the city to the body of man, saying, “The body without the soul cannot live. It is good,” he remarked, “to live under the sky, in the sunshine and fresh air.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Abdu’l-Baha in London, p. 81)

Country is like soul
And city body of man
They must co-exist

Do tough times strengthen your faith or question it?

Good Question? (3)

Answer by pukirahe Nov 27th, 2011 at 8:22PM

Tough times shake, question, then strengthen our faith.
I believe in God and I teach His Cause.
When people put me in prison for that Cause,
I am shaking. I bear the sufferings without seeing the
helping hand of God.
In prison, I have no better things to do except to pray,
to meditate and to seek for the signs of God.
Then years are passing by, I see new friends, new
symphatizers, new believers, and spiritual assurance
in the silent rescue and guidance of God.
Now, decades are passing by, and I see more and more
clearly that there is no guidance better than the divine
education of God. Humanity have not seen God yet, but they
are searching more actively for the spiritual food of God
after long centuries indulging in material consumerism!

Abdul-Baha says:

“Behold the apostles of Christ! They had many trials. The friends of Baha’u’llah in Persia have undergone unspeakable calamities; their possessions were seized and destroyed, their children captured, their lives sacrificed; yet at the hour of martyrdom they danced with joy, for they were completely detached from the life of this world. Trials have never prevented men from knowing the happiness of the beyond. Nay, rather, this is the path.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 70)
