What’s your greatest life lesson?

Remembering God.
When I remember God, I am happy, confident, hopeful.
When I forget God, negative thoughts disturb my mind.
All my daily activities aim at reminding myself
about this greatest lesson, and wishing that I can be of service
to other people in this respect. I am praying that more and more
people will read this post.

Baha’u’llah says:

“Delight not yourselves in the things of the world and its vain ornaments, neither set your hopes on them. Let your reliance be on the remembrance of God, the Most Exalted, the Most Great. He will, erelong, bring to naught all the things ye possess. Let Him be your fear, and forget not His covenant with you, and be not of them that are shut out as by a veil from Him.” (Baha’u’llah, The Summons of the Lord of Hosts, p. 202)

How dangerous is philosophy?

Philosophy is as good as art, science, literature and agriculture.
They are the light, the life, the spiritual fruit of human activities, exclusively. They are the foundation of world civilization.
It would be best when these activities are placed under
the guidance of God, through His revealed religions.
Otherwise, it is the end of the human world.

Baha’u’llah says:

“Fifth: Special regard must be paid to agriculture. Although it hath been mentioned in the fifth place, unquestionably it precedeth the others. Agriculture is highly developed in foreign lands, however in Persia it hath so far been grievously neglected. It is hoped that His Majesty the Shah — may God assist him by His grace — will turn his attention to this vital and important matter.” (Baha’u’llah, Tablets of Baha’u’llah, p. 89)

Good Question? (4)

Answer by pukirahe Dec 17th, 2011 at 4:40PM

I need love and I have found it.
I happily found love in God, hence, love in
all people and all things.
But, this is more as feeling than as knowledge.
I keep on reading the Holy Books to get the difinitions
of God about this sublime sentiment and to practice it
in order to gain clearer access to Him, the Desire of
my heart.
I am truly thankful to God for this divine education.

Baha’u’llah says:

“Cleave thou, therefore, with the whole affection of thine heart, unto His love, and withdraw it from the love of anyone besides Him, that He may aid thee to immerse thyself in the ocean of His unity, and enable thee to become a true upholder of His oneness.” (Baha’u’llah, The Summons of the Lord of Hosts, p. 211)

God is in our heart
But we can’t see and love Him
By our heedlessness

Why caring about God became like a crime? ! Nothing wrong with being religious as long as you are not harming anyone!

I was taught in schools that we should and it is good to care about God, came to the real world and found the opposite!! :/

This is really a vital and complicated question
that all people have to answer for their own good.
God creates human beings and He educates us all
through His Divine Messengers, Who found religions.
Throughout history, people who consciously practiced religion,
have established higher and higher civilizations; while those
who blindly imitated men fell into unbearable misery.
See the difference among the wise promoters of peace
such as Ananda, saint Paul, Imam Ali….and the blind warmongers
such as Devadatta, Attila, Hitler…
The blind warmongers have no good counsels to give,
but the Educator of saints has revealed precious Holy Books
which are now available on the Internet to guide all mankind
to our bright and common future.
And now is the Age that each individual can freely and independently
investigate the truth for himself. Environmental pressure still exists, but man is mature enough to overcome it.
All praise is to God for this new grace.

Baha’u’llah says:

“O people of the world! The voice of the Divine Lote-Tree is clearly sounding and the shrill cry of the Pen of Glory is ringing loud: Give ye ear and be not of the heedless. The sun is calling out: O concourse of the divines! The heaven of religions is split and the moon cleft asunder and the peoples of the earth are brought together in a new resurrection. Fear ye God and follow not the promptings of your passions, rather follow Him unto Whom have testified the Scriptures of God, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.” (Baha’u’llah, Tablets of Baha’u’llah, p. 247)
