What do you think your soul wants?

My soul wants lots of things to
satisfy my physical, intellectual and spiritual life.
But who can give me all what I need?
So, I reduce my need to daily food, and thanks God
I already survive long decades, through abundance
and starvation. That is alright.
Now, I think I need more spiritual food
for my starving soul?
And luckily, I also find abundant spiritual food
here on the Internet that my forefathers had no chance.
I am really thankful to God
for being alive in this Age of maturity of the Human race.

Baha’u’llah says:

“I entreat Thee, O my Lord, by these days and by all such as have during that period clung to the cord of Thy commandments, and laid hold on the handle of Thy precepts, to grant that unto every soul may be assigned a place within the precincts of Thy court, and a seat at the revelation of the splendors of the light of Thy countenance.”

Do you believe that human beings are spiritual being? why or why not?

I firmly believe that human beings are spiritual
because this is stated in all Holy Books.
Here are some evidences:
Only humans, among all creatures, can
ask questions
make choices
carry forward an ever-advancing civilization….

Baha’u’llah says:

“All men have been created to carry forward an ever-advancing civilization. The Almighty beareth Me witness: To act like the beasts of the field is unworthy of man. Those virtues that befit his dignity are forbearance, mercy, compassion and loving-kindness towards all the peoples and kindreds of the earth.”

Baha’u’llah, the Messenger of God for this Age
of human maturiy has revealed a huge Book of
Prayers and Meditations. I can pray for anything
on any moment of my life by using these sacred verses,
meditating on them and trying to translate the meanings
into actions. This keeps me guided and protected
to be happy all the time.

Baha’u’llah says:

“All laud and honor to Thee, O my God! Thou well knowest the things which, for a score of years, have happened in Thy days, and have continued to happen until this hour. No man can reckon, nor can any tongue tell, what hath befallen Thy chosen ones during all this time. They could obtain no shelter, nor find any refuge in which they could abide in safety. Turn, then, O my God, their fear into the evidences of Thy peace and Thy security, and their abasement into the sovereignty of Thy glory, and their poverty into Thine all-sufficient riches, and their distress into the wonders of Thy perfect tranquillity.”

I think that all people have the same need.
Life is an immense mystery before us:
we don’t know ourselves, we don’t know
the world and our relations to it.
Only God, the Divine Creator and Educator
can tell us what is the purpose of His creation
and how should we conduct our life to be eternally happy.
This we can do by seeking for divine education
which is now freely and easily accessible on the Internet.

Abdul-Baha prays:

“O Thou, my God, Who guidest the seeker to the pathway that leadeth aright, Who deliverest the lost and blinded soul out of the wastes of perdition, Thou Who bestowest upon the sincere great bounties and favours, Who guardest the frightened within Thine impregnable refuge, Who answerest, from Thine all-highest horizon, the cry of those who cry out unto Thee.”

Why does god keep himself invisible and silent

Asked By: 8pops 6 hours ago

It would be much easier for everyone if he was visible then there wouldnt be any non believers and if he was more vocal, with words of encouragement and praise and then he could guide us not in to temptation etc

Year of Dragon, Day 89

God does not keep Himself invisible and silent,
but we ourselves have become deaf and blind.
Please reflect on this newest answer of the Bab,
the King of God’s Messengers:

”Know thou that in the Bayan purification is regarded as the most acceptable means for attaining nearness unto God and as the most meritorious of all deeds. Thus purge thou thine ear that thou mayest hear no mention besides God, and purge thine eye that it behold naught except God, and thy conscience that it perceive naught other than God, and thy tongue that it proclaim nothing but God, and thy hand to write naught but the words of God, and thy knowledge that it comprehend naught except God, and thy heart that it entertain no wish save God, and in like manner purge all thine acts and thy pursuits that thou mayest be nurtured in the paradise of pure love, and perchance mayest attain the presence of Him Whom God shall make manifest, adorned with a purity which He highly cherisheth, and be sanctified from whosoever hath turned away from Him and doth not support Him. Thus shalt thou manifest a purity that shall profit thee.”

God bestows free will on human beings, so that each individual can make responsible and meritorious choice. If all suddendly became pure, we would appear as a herd of cows!
