WORLD WITHOUT RELIGION?

What do you think our world would be like without religion?

Asked By: KnightOfJustice (16-17, M) 34 minutes ago

(Serious answers only please) And I’m talking about if we never had religion to begin with.

Ignorance, complete ignorance.
But the living and loving God does not
want to allow humanity, His intelligent children
to fall into that depth of darkness.
His religion is divine education to raise them
high Age after Age.
Holy Books, foundations of all religion,
teach man the highest ideal, the most noble
sentiments, the most profound wisdom to
fathom the mysteries of all worlds, known
and not known yet.
False hatred against religion will fade away
with all other negative prejudices. True religion
is brightening all horizons of divine creation.

Wishing that my sweet words don’t cause ants
to eat out your monitor.
Wishing that my words will fade away and only
fragrances left,
Wishing that other friends of mine know that this
is only a copy of my old letter to them.
I love you all and I wish that you are always healthy,
happy and making progress.
Hope that we will meet again in our moments of
remembrance of God.

YOU THINK WE ARE NOT IN A REAL WAR?

You think we r not in a real war? people are still dying almost everyday! if that not a war what is?

Yes, regretfully we are still in war everywhere
on earth. In answering another question about
the most damaging thing on earth now, I say it is our
wasting of big amounts of money in war in the name
of national defence.
We know that no nation can defend itself, so more
and more groups of nations are allied. This causes
bigger cost for joint-military force and for more practice
of joint-battling.
I propose the urgent establishment of a world educational system
to teach about love, peace and skills for all youth
to act as world citizens. The reason is that only a world
vision can see and solve world problems. At all
world conferences, the well-being of all mankind should be
placed above national interest.
All this promising future only depends on our world
system of education. No fate can interfere in this effort.
Yes, world educational system to train world citizens, please.

Baha’u’llah says:

“Tear asunder, in My Name, the veils that have grievously blinded your vision, and, through the power born of your belief in the unity of God, scatter the idols of vain imitation. Enter, then, the holy paradise of the good-pleasure of the All-Merciful. Sanctify your souls from whatsoever is not of God, and taste ye the sweetness of rest within the pale of His vast and mighty Revelation, and beneath the shadow of His supreme and infallible authority. Suffer not yourselves to be wrapt in the dense veils of your selfish desires, inasmuch as I have perfected in every one of you My creation, so that the excellence of My handiwork may be fully revealed unto men.”

Good Question? (5)

Lack of education – universally spiritual education.
With national systems of education, we are reaching
the present level of science, technology and social skills.
But, we are still suspecting, hating, narrow-minded.
In the name of self-defence, of security, of benefits,
we still allow ourselves to ignore the injuries we
may cause to people of other countries, and we still
waste huge sums on money on defence.
If the proper education can cause us to think like
a world citizen, we may easily save our world. Wasted
money in military efforts can be used to do all social good
and spiritual development for a brighter future.
The root of all evil is our wrong thinking. We will think
right when we are educated rightly. We will correct
ourself instead of blaming others as we are doing now.
Nobody is to be blamed: we are at this level because
our education is only that high. For radical change of the
world we need urgently an education to equip young people
with powers to live as world citizens.
Willing or not, we must try to make change. World problems
cannot be solved with national spirit.

Baha’u’llah says:

“Let your vision be world-embracing, rather than confined to your own self. The Evil One is he that hindereth the rise and obstructeth the spiritual progress of the children of men.

It is incumbent upon every man, in this Day, to hold fast unto whatsoever will promote the interests, and exalt the station, of all nations and just governments. Through each and every one of the verses which the Pen of the Most High hath revealed, the doors of love and unity have been unlocked and flung open to the face of men. We have erewhile declared — and Our Word is the truth — : “Consort with the followers of all religions in a spirit of friendliness and fellowship.”  (Baha’u’llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha’u’llah, p. 94)

RELIGION TAUGHT IN ALL WORLD SCHOOLS?

Should religions be taught in school as part of a social studies curriculum to help students better understand the world

Asked By: BamPow (41-45, M) 35 minutes ago

….or should they be off limits even in a purely historical context?

Good Question? (3)

Posted by pukirahe Sep 30th, 2012 at 2:52AM

Yes, but religion in general, not a particular one.
Sooner or later, all schools should introduce
religion to pupils, because this is the most important
subject for human life, the divine education.
This also depends much on the concept of the
Ministers of Education and other educators about
religion, to avoid all supersitions, prejudices, controversies.
Perhaps this will take deeper consultations among
among secular and spiritual educators.
This will be good only when the teachers have the
general consent that true religion must be divine
for the establishment of love, unity, peace.
Otherwise this education may cause more injuries
to tender minds.

Abdul-Baha says:

“True religion is the basis of divine civilization. Material civilization is like unto the body; divine civilization is like unto the spirit. A body without the spirit is dead, although it may be clothed in the utmost beauty and comeliness.

In short, by religion we mean those necessary bonds which have power to unify. This has ever been the essence of the religion of God. This is the eternal bestowal of God! This is the object of divine teachings and laws! This is the light of the everlasting life!” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 160)

DOOMSDAY IS ALMOST HERE?

Doomsday is quite far away, so I am
making five year plan with vision for
ten years, a century, a millennium.
I am telling positively about this, because
the Prophets of God say nothing about it.
The return of Christ has been understood as
apocalyptic, but He aleady returned and His Ark
on Mount Carmel is already built for infinite duration.
All misunderstandings about the Day of the End
are fully clarified in the Books of the Bab, of Baha’u’llah
and of Abdul-Baha, the three Central Figures of the
Baha’i Faith. True seekers of this Era will see and
serve efficiently this new Truth.
The Promise of God about His Kingdom on earth
is becoming more and more evident physically and spiritually.

Baha’u’llah says:

“O Afnan, O thou that has branched from Mine ancient Stock! My glory and My loving-kindness rest upon thee. How vast is the tabernacle of the Cause of God! It hath overshadowed all the peoples and kindreds of the earth, and will, ere long, gather together the whole of mankind beneath its shelter. Thy day of service is now come. Countless Tablets bear the testimony of the bounties vouchsafed unto thee. Arise for the triumph of My Cause, and, through the power of thine utterance, subdue the hearts of men. Thou must show forth that which will ensure the peace and the well-being of the miserable and the downtrodden. Gird up the loins of thine endeavour, that perchance thou mayest release the captive from his chains, and enable him to attain unto true liberty.”

WHY WE CAN’T HAVE POWERS LIKE GODS?

I wonder why is that we can’t have powers like gods I asked myself?

Asked By: Sayinmoon (16-17) 14 minutes ago

Posted by pukirahe Sep 29th, 2012 at 10:51PM

Gods do not exist hence they cannot do anything.
All mythological and legendary figures are imaginary
and their feats are nothing comparing to our works.
They could not create anything like atomic energy,
spaceship, Internet…. We are the most powerful beings
in the universe, only less than the One True God, our
omniscient and omnipotent Creator.
We know clearly about all these things by reading again
the mythologic stories and the Holy Books with
the huge minds of mature human beings.
Now is the Age, we can distinguish truth from falseness,
reality from fabrications, human powers and the guidance
of God.
Why still confusing while we have placed all necessary
educational materials on the Internet?

Abdul-Baha says:

“Briefly, the Blessed Perfection bore all these ordeals and calamities in order that our hearts might become enkindled and radiant, our spirits be glorified, our faults become virtues, our ignorance be transformed into knowledge; in order that we might attain the real fruits of humanity and acquire heavenly graces; in order that, although pilgrims upon earth, we should travel the road of the heavenly Kingdom, and, although needy and poor, we might receive the treasures of eternal life. For this has He borne these difficulties and sorrows.

Trust all to God.” (Abdu’l-Baha, The Promulgation of Universal Peace, p. 28)
