How secure is your area. Could you leave a bicycle unlocked outside overnight and it would still be there in morning ?

My area is perhaps the safest on earth. I don’t leave my bike unlocked outside, not for fear of insecurity, but I don’t dream of a world without thieves. We will always have people who commit wrongdoings because of ignorance, lust, laziness…. So, we better establish security with our own struggle against our own weaknesses. The more we act thoughtfully, prudently, reasonably, the more our world will become better. The world always appears as unsafe, because we think that bad things come from other people rather from our own self! I think that rethinking alone already causes the world to be much better. Our own change will make perfect.

Shoghi Effendi says:

“We should feel deeply gratified and thankful to God that at a time when all humanity seems to be struggling in despair we can come together and, with great assurance, feast and be merry over the dawn of a new day; that in the darkness which envelopes the world we see the approach of a new light and the breaking of a new era. This is a true blessing and a bounty from God to those who believe in Him and accept His Revelation.”

There are thousands of things for us to dream about every day. I dream contemplating a newly bloomed flower, a new born child, a new lesson for better living…. Flowers might be seen in our garden, in the forest, on the Internet. Newly born babies might be seen in family, at nurseries, and again on the Internet. New lessons might be found in our thinking mind, among all people around us, and again in Holy Books on the Internet. So, I dream anything and I see the beautiful realization in my life and on the Internet.
Today, I keep on realizing my dream about world peace by reading good articles about it, sharing them via digital link and practicing them in my daily activities.
I am happy with my dreams and seeing them turning immediately or gradually into attractive reality.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Thanks be to God, this meeting has a divine meaning. While others are attracted to material things, praise be to God, you are attracted to the spiritual. All the inhabitants here amuse themselves with dreams of the earth and disguise themselves with fantastic dress during these days; but you are occupied with God. In all the theatres one hears songs of the earth, but our song is the divine mention.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 55)

The Internet is a miracle. You ask a question and people all over the world see it, answer it, ignore it, judge it, and people keep on thinking about their answers and answers of other respondents. People who died fifty years ago could not think or imagine about this miracle. There are even greater miracles that we can find or we will never find on innumerable blogs and websites. Almost all impossible things become possible: raw metals can be turned into precious materials; bad qualities of man can be turned into noble virtues; our suffering world can be turned into paradise perhaps in this century…
With divine guidance, many humans will be performing unprecedented miracles.

Baha’u’llah says:

“The Book of God is wide open, and His Word is summoning mankind unto Him. No more than a mere handful, however, hath been found willing to cleave to His Cause, or to become the instruments for its promotion. These few have been endued with the Divine Elixir that can, alone, transmute into purest gold the dross of the world, and have been empowered to administer the infallible remedy for all the ills that afflict the children of men. No man can obtain everlasting life, unless he embraceth the truth of this inestimable, this wondrous, and sublime Revelation.” (Baha’u’llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha’u’llah, p. 183)

The Internet. I am seeking for light on the black hole Internet. There are here millions of websites, blogs, books, magazines, and digital forms of encyclopedia…. I am seeking up here the light of guidance for a happy, useful and progressive life. For the ocean of knowledge is boundless, so I often get lost. But anytime I find a drop of life, I immediately share it on my blog. I feel that what I share is useful, because many of my knowledgeable friends also share similar tidings on their blogs with illustrated music and image. I really love the Internet.

Abdul-Baha says:

Bahá’u’lláh taught that hearts must receive the Bounty of the Holy Spirit, so that Spiritual civilization may be established. For material civilization is not adequate for the needs of mankind and cannot be the cause of its happiness. Material civilization is like the body and spiritual civilization is like the soul. Body without soul cannot live.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Abdu’l-Baha in London, p. 30)

I wish that this is an evident phenomenon. This Age is the Age of world civilization built with mind and heart, and no longer with muscular strength as in previous Ages. Girl education must occupy the first priority in all families, all localities, all countries, all isolated islands, all isolated deserts…. This can be done with computers functioning on batteries. This is the most efficient way to turn our world into a world with no crimes, no battles, no violence. Education for girls and women is considered most urgent and most important, because they are potential mothers and first teachers of the next generation. Good mothers and teachers will raise up powerful peace lovers and peace makers.

Abdul-Baha says:

“You must turn attention more earnestly to the betterment of the conditions of the poor. Do not be satisfied until each one with whom you are concerned is to you as a member of your family. Regard each one either as a father, or as a brother, or as a sister, or as a mother, or as a child. If you can attain to this, your difficulties will vanish, you will know what to do. This is the teaching of Bahá’u’lláh.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Abdu’l-Baha in London, p. 91)

Whats a good question to ask?

Who can answer man’s question? He himself, his parents, his teachers, his king?
For example, man asks: What is the purpose of my life? He may answer himself: to live to the fullest. His parents may answer: to become human.
His teachers may answer: to become a successful man. His king may answer: to serve your king and your country. Are all these answers satisfactory for him? No, not at all.
I ask God, and He answers: to know God and to serve all mankind. I think that we can ask God all things and we will find most convincing answers in the Holy Books revealed by His Messengers.

Yes, that is why we should read only the best books. My best ones might not be yours, so you need to make distinctive choice which is profitable for your life physically, mentally and spiritually. In our life, making choice is the most important action. We have to choose the educational systems, friends, partners…. and to rethink and redo our life from time to time, when we feel that the present moment is not really happy. Nobody can do this for us. Our destiny is decided by our own choice. Wishing you success in this world and also in the worlds to come.
