Should abortion be out lawed?

Asked By: logicjack 26-30, M  3 hours ago

Good Question?(9)

Posted by Me Jun 30th, 2013 at 3:30AM

Yes, but education is better.

Abortion is outlawed in many countries and the results are not so good. Illegal abortion is sometimes more brutal, more inhuman, more dangerous.

Life will be more respected with love, with wisdom, with volition, when each individual voluntarily conducts a decent living due to true knowledge about human dignity, family prosperity, world progress and civilization.

Today, means of education are cheaper and more popular, human minds are more mature, societies are more advanced, so we should think more of freedom instead of oppression.

Acts of human values should be realized through free will and not through domination.

The Universal House of Justice says:

“As you have keenly observed, the Universal House of Justice may consider it untimely to make definitive rulings on certain matters to which no direct  reference can be found in the Sacred Text. Among these are euthanasia and certain aspects of birth control and abortion, and until such time as rulings are made, these matters are left to the consciences of those concerned who must weigh the medical advice on the case in the light of general guidance given in the Teachings.”

Almighty.

Only God is almighty. He creates and He governs all worlds, known and unknown.

Most of us only think about the physical world, while the Holy Books, revealed by the Messengers of God, place emphasis on the spiritual world, considering it as real and the physical world a shadow.

We think about the physical world without attaining true knowledge of it. We don’t know its origin, its purpose, and even its dimension!

The problem with us is that in the last 6,000 years we persist on sticking to our fancy and refuse to accept the divine guidance of God.

Today, God’s call reaches people in all corners of the world via Internet.

Should we listen to Him or to keep on rejecting?!

HOW CAN CHOICE EXIST IF DESTINY IS TRUE?

How can choice exist if destiny is true?

Asked By: cpgnatly 41-45, M  18 minutes ago

There is no choice for all creatures, except man. That is why we must be thankful to God and praising Him incessantly.
Man can make choice, because he exclusively has the god-given rational sense to exert free will.
God is omniscient, while man has only limited knowledge, so he can only choose within the limits allowed by the Creator. Man cannot choose to be God; he can only choose to be or not to be human as defined and taught by God.
Choosing to be human, he can maintain eternally all the glory God bestows on him. Choosing not to be human he deprives himself this divine gift. He becomes even lower than dust.
Among obedient human beings, we have godlike people such as Saint Paul, Imam Ali, Boddhisattva Ananda …. All disobedient human beings fall into complete oblivion after earning some worldly fame.

Funny, I watch animals make choices all the time.

Reply by MeJun 29th, 2013 at 10:03PM

Animals make choice, why men don’t? Any monkeys reach any station like saints, sages, disciples? Yes, it is funny to think that men and animals are equal without accepting to be called monkey!

Reply by cpgnatly Jun 29th, 2013 at 10:07PM

I have seen monkeys do nobler things than men if that is what you are asking.

Reply by MeJun 29th, 2013 at 10:22PM

In your eyes monkeys are not only equal to men, but they are higher! I surrender before you in this conversation.

Reply by cpgnatly Jun 29th, 2013 at 10:26PM

I said some monkeys out did some men. I did not say monkeys have the potential of men. Men have done better than monkeys, but they have done much worse as well.

Baha’u’llah says:

“Dost thou imagine, O Minister of the Shah in the City, that I hold within My grasp the ultimate destiny of the Cause of God? Thinkest thou that My imprisonment, or the shame I have been made to suffer, or even My death and utter annihilation, can deflect its course? Wretched is what thou hast imagined in thine heart! Thou art indeed of them that walk after the vain imaginings which their hearts devise. No God is there but Him.”

Most people see that the world is bad, because we don’t believe in God.

This is not the punishment of the God of love, but our disbelief prevents us from seeing His good creation through the light of His guidance. True believers in the early centuries of all religions are very happy, thankful and positive in the service of society. Through years, the false believers no longer reflect this divine light.

But after the winter of Judaism, we come to the spring of Christianity; after the winter of Christianity the spring of Islam; after the winter of Islam, the spring of ….

The love of God never changes, but we change through seasons. It is really hard to see the new days of spring, while we are living in the long months of winter. Blessed are people who believe and remember that God never abandons His children.

Abdul-Baha says:

“God leaves not His children comfortless, but, when the darkness of winter overshadows them, then again He sends His Messengers, the Prophets, with a renewal of the blessed spring. The Sun of Truth appears again on the horizon of the world shining into the eyes of those who sleep, awaking them to behold the glory of a new dawn.

Then again will the tree of humanity blossom and bring forth the fruit of righteousness for the healing of the nations.”

So to speak. What do you turn to when you need to block it all out and relax?

Posted by Me Jun 29th, 2013 at 6:08PM

Negative thought.

Thought about love is food, thought about enmity is poison.

Thought about peace is food, thought about war is poison.

Thought about forgiveness is food, thought about revenge is poison….

We cannot block out negative thoughts, but the more we nurture positive thoughts, the more quickly negative ones will disappear. It is like light that chases away darkness.

Happenings from outside are optional, our attitude is choice. All human beings have free will to choose the negative or positive aspect of life. Mature minds usually choose to be positive. Maturity does not come by age, but by education through trials and calamities. Some may break, others become diamonds.

Abdul-Baha says:

“I charge you all that each one of you concentrate all the thoughts of your heart on love and unity. When a thought of war comes, oppose it by a stronger thought of peace. A thought of hatred must be destroyed by a more powerful thought of love.

Thoughts of war bring destruction to all harmony, well-being, restfulness and content.

Thoughts of love are constructive of brotherhood, peace, friendship, and happiness.”

You are well aware, praised be the Lord, that both interaction and cooperation are evident and proven amongst all beings, whether large or small. In the case of large bodies interaction is as manifest as the sun, whilst in the case of small bodies, though interaction be unknown, yet the part is an indication of the whole. All these interactions therefore are connected with that all-embracing power which is their pivot, their center, their source  and their motive power.

Why are people so stupid and lacking of common sense? What happened to the world?

Asked By: sarahswagalot 26-30  1 hour ago

Good Question?(3)

Posted by Me Jun 28th, 2013 at 11:11PM

I have no knowledge about other people to answer for them

I know that I am stupid because I do not educate myself properly.

No schools today are educating people properly, so each individual must use his intelligence to educate himself.

My children and grandchildren are more intelligent and more knowledgeable than me, but they don’t judge people like you. They love and respect all people, me and you included, because they realize that all have potential qualities to conduct a life of love, of dignity, of nobility. They are trying to provide education to unfortunate kids and adults.

Among my friends in real life as well as on Internet, I cannot find any stupid people. Some were ignorant, arrogant, judgmental, but once they educate themselves, they become more lovely, more adorable, more useful to the world which is more and more civilized.

I am really optimistic about the noble human race and the glorious future of our planet earth.

Baha’u’llah says:

“Whoso cleaveth to justice, can, under no circumstances, transgess the limits of moderation. He discerneth the truth in all things, through the guidance of Him Who is the All-Seeing. The civilization, so often vaunted by the learned exponents of arts and sciences, will, if allowed to overleap the bounds of moderation, bring great evil upon men. Thus warneth you He Who is the All-Knowing. If carried to excess, civilization will prove as prolific a source of evil as it had been of goodness when kept within the restraints of moderation. Meditate on this, O people, and be not of them that wander distraught in the wilderness of error.”
