We live to love and not to be loved.
When all people practice love, all are loved.
When all wait to be loved, none is loved.
Moreoever, love must be selfless, sincere, unconditional.
Love must be irrational, universal, spiritual.
Yes, love is purely love as law, as principle, as foundation of life.
All kids are born with this love.
Corrupted traditions have spoiled this pure love in adults. Therefore, we need learning to become like children as advised by Jesus Christ. None can enter Paradise without becoming like children.
He who loves is wise; he who expects to be loved is foolish!

Abdul-Baha says:

“Every cherished effort must extend its powers to other souls. Is there anything more cherished than the mind of man? We must expend this faculty in the cause of human union, for we are the children of one father. A delicate spiritual power is ever exercising an influence over the hearts and minds of men. Why should we abandon the holy power which binds us together and cleave to the barbarous traditions which keep us apart?”

(Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 182)

We are born to love

All human race selflessly

As one family
