THE FAULT IN STARS OR IN OURSELVES?

Is the fault not in our stars, but in ourselves?

Yes, in ourselves.
Wind, energy, star … give us power; we decide the direction.
With their power our journey might be slow or fast; but reaching right or wrong destination, it is our responsibility.
A sunk ship means destruction. A drown man may mean life or death depending on the purity or dirtiness of his breath.
All human beings have the immense universe with all sorts of appearances for their journey: feelings of joy or sadness are personal.
The just and compassionate God bestows on all people with the power of understanding. They who learn how to know and use it will surely enjoy life much better. Self deprivation of knowledge is our own fault.
Other creatures are happy at the low level of instincts. Man is happy with the higher level of free choice.

 Abdul-Baha says:

“Abdu’l-Bahá is the Banner of the Most Great PeaceThe Herald of the Kingdom is he, so that he may awaken the people of the East and the West. The Voice of Friendship, of Truth, and of Reconciliation is he, quickening all regions. No name, no title will he ever have, except ‘Abdu’l-Bahá. This is my longing. This is my Supreme height. O ye friends of God! ‘Abdu’l-Bahá is the manifestation of Service, and not Christ. The Servant of humanity is he, and not a chief. Summon ye the people to the station of Service of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá and not his Christhood.”

(Abdu’l-Baha, Abdu’l-Baha in London, p. 109)
