What would you do with $10 million? Blow it or make more money?

Money is means, not purpose.

In the hands of wise people, it is good; otherwise very bad.

Books cannot record all the good and bad use of means: money, chemicals, atomic energy….

Mature mankind need a higher and more universal education to use all means for the highest purpose.

The highest purpose of the individual human being is to know and love God. The collective purpose is to carry forwards an ever-advancing civilization.

While the confusing masses of the past lament in the sea of suffering, a small number of mature people have brought civilization to our national level today.

And now we have marvelous inventions to bring it higher to the level of world civilization.

The most mature human beings are placing their money in the Hand of God for the realization of His divine purpose.

 Baha’u’llah says:

“All men have been created to carry forward an ever-advancing civilization. The Almighty beareth Me witness: To act like the beasts of the field is unworthy of man. Those virtues that befit his dignity are forbearance, mercy, compassion and loving-kindness towards all the peoples and kindreds of the earth. Say: O friends! Drink your fill from this crystal stream that floweth through the heavenly grace of Him Who is the Lord of Names. Let others partake of its waters in My name, that the leaders of men in every land may fully recognize the purpose for which the Eternal Truth hath been revealed, and the reason for which they themselves have been created.”

(Baha’u’llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha’u’llah, p. 214)
