REDEEMING A SINFUL LIFE THROUGH ONE ACT?

Can a man or woman redeem a life of “mistakes” through one act?

Yes, breathe the last breath in purity.
All people sin, all people make mistake, all people wander in the wilderness of passions…, and all will be saved as they offer the last pure breath to God.
Usually, we sin, we repent and we sin again… If we have knowledge about the immortality of our soul, we must understand the true meaning of repentance, practice it and keep it good until the last breath.
We all have the rational sense to make proper study to conduct our life with freedom and happiness. We make efforts, because of our divinely bestowed free will for salvation, not for fear of punishment or for the reward of paradise.
In reality, our sin is already our hell. We are not free and happy in sins.

Baha’u’llah says:

“It is clear and evident that all men shall, after their physical death, estimate the worth of their deeds, and realize all that their hands have wrought…. They that are the followers of the one true God shall, the moment they depart out of this life, experience such joy and gladness as would be impossible to describe, while they that live in error shall be seized with such fear and trembling, and shall be filled with such consternation, as nothing can exceed. Well is it with him that hath quaffed the choice and incorruptible wine of faith through the gracious favor and the manifold bounties of Him Who is the Lord of all Faiths….”
