MAKING OUR WORLD A KINDER PLACE?

How can we make our world a kinder, gentler place?

We make our own self kinder and gentler.
By learning and practicing selfless love.
Sun loves by giving light unconditionally on all good and bad people.
Rain loves by giving water unconditionally to all populated and deserted areas.
Atmosphere loves by giving air to all creatures big and small.
They all ask for nothing back. They do not fear punishment or to wait for reward.
Things without rational sense can express such love, how we intelligent beings cannot do better. In fact, we all love our children unconditonally. The longer we live and develop our intelligence, our selfless love will expand beyond our solar system to encompass other physical and spiritual worlds.
Yes, we can do much more than we think before reaching maturity and obtaining education. Our world will become better beyond our knowledge and imagination.

 Shoghi Effendi says:

“…The possibility of securing union with his beloved in the next world is one which the Bahá’í Teachings are quite clear about. According to Bahá’u’lláh the soul retains its individuality and consciousness after death, and is able to commune with other souls. This communion, however, is purely spiritual in character, and is conditioned upon the disinterested and selfless love of the individuals for each other.”
