Would you agree being a mother is the hardest job in the world?

Agree 100 percent.

Meanwhile, it is the happiest job.

It is hard from bearing to birth and much harder from educating to training the child into another happy person. The mother remains miserable as long as the child is unhappy.

It is happiest because nobody loves a woman more than her child, especially the well-educated child.

More than that, motherhood is the most sacred quality in humans. Whether ignorant or knowledgeable, the mother is always ready to give her all for her child. However, knowledge would make her job more pleasing and successful.

Fatherhood is also important, but father’s performance cannot be compared to the mother’s. The role of father is more meaningful for guidance and discipline than for nurturing and helping. Of course, it is ideal to have both.

The new education will create better balance in family love.

 Baha’u’llah says:

“When We learned of her sadness, We directed thee to return unto her, as a token of mercy unto thee from Our presence, and as an admonishment for others.

Beware lest ye commit that which would sadden the hearts of your fathers and mothers. Follow ye the path of Truth which indeed is a straight path. Should anyone give you a choice between the opportunity to render a service to Me and a service to them, choose ye to serve them, and let such service be a path leading you to Me. This is My exhortation and command unto thee. Observe therefore that which thy Lord, the Mighty, the Gracious, hath prescribed unto thee.”
