What I want to share is ‘remembrance of God‘.
This is of utmost importance for believers and non-believers.
For believers this is reminder of Wisdom, Knowledge, Love, Unity, Peace and all other high ideals revealed through God’s Messengers. One short moment of forgetfulness may lead to eternal loss. Now, with Holy Books available for all on the Internet, we will see more and more good things due to remembrance.
As for non-believers, this is even more essential. If they don’t believe in God, they also need remembrance of other lofty ideals for their dignity. Science, Philosophy, Service … , yes anything that remind them that they are spiritual beings, supreme over all other creatures. Forgetting this, it is also their complete loss.
Remembrance of God is what I remind myself hundreds of times every day. Besides saying prayers, I recite 95 times The Greatest Name (Allah-O-Abha) from morning till night.
All minds really need this divine and universal reminder.

 Abdul-Baha says:

Someone wished to know if it were a good custom to wear a symbol, as, for instance, a cross. He said: “You wear the cross for remembrance, it concentrates your thoughts; it has no magical power. Bahá’ís often wear a stone with the  Greatest Name engraved on it: there is no magical influence in the stone; it is a reminder, and companion. If you are about to do some selfish or hasty action, and your glance falls on the ring on your hand, you will remember and change your intention.”

(Abdu’l-Baha, Abdu’l-Baha in London, p. 93)

 Remembrance of God

Urgent and divine guidance

For all believers
