On weekends I have closer associations with children and grandchildren, because they don’t have to work in office and at school. I also have more activities with my co-religionists because of the same reason.
In fact, if we love God, then all days are equally happy and useful. Today, this priviledge is set apart for retired people, who cannot do much in creating a living atmosphere in temples or in houses of worship. It is regretful that younger people today are more related to the world than to God. They are too busy that many still fail to serve God and to enjoy love even on weekends. And no service in the heyday of their lives put them into serious sense of uselessness. They can neither earn money nor being able to serve others. Their descendants consider them as burdens! These burdens appear heavier, for families are having more elders than young people.
Really a miserable time for the generations of people who reject their God.
However, this will change after some thinking and rethinking.

Baha’u’llah says:

“Blessed is he who in the prime of his youth and the heyday of his life will arise to serve the Cause of the Lord of the beginning and of the end, and adorn his heart with His love. The manifestation of such a grace is greater than the creation of the heavens and of the earth. Blessed are the steadfast and well is it with those who are firm’.”

(Baha’u’llah, Lights of Guidance, p. 632)
