Why do we have to take a test to drive a car but not a single thing that is required to have children. ?

This is really ridiculous.
Perhaps it is easier to teach and test driving than parenting.
Family fails if parents didn’t learn and didn’t teach their children.
School fails if teachers don’t pass true knowledge to pupils.
Religion fails if there is not therein complete knowledge for this important matter.
There should be some place that shows human beings who they are and how they should conduct happy life generation after generation.
I think that Buddha, Christ, Confucius … have taught this in the past and Baha’u’llah is giving newer and broader education now. Wishing that you and other people have found great books about parenting.
Yes, all people must learn for themselves and for their children. Children are not cars, they are a greater generation.

Abdul-Baha says:

It is incumbent upon you (to act) with merciful harmony and spiritual unity, so that the bounties of your Lord may embrace you and make you as waves in this sacred, moving sea. This is seemly of the believing women! This is the spirit of the assured women! This is the light of the peaceful women! This is the ultimate wish of the attracted women! Verily, I beseech God to illumine thy sight by witnessing the light of hopes and cause thee to speak His praise among the maid-servants, and to make thee steadfast in this path, on which feet have slipped through the power of tests.

And I beg of Him to enable thee to confirm thy parents and make thee a servant in His great vineyard, and cause the consolation of thine eye, thy noble child, to enter the garden of His exalted Kingdom.
