CAN I BE A PHILOSOPHER?

Yes, you can.
By asking questions, you are a philosopher.
People who do not ask questions are not philosophers, because they may consider that they know everything, or they cannot get true knowledge.
Philosophers are lovers of knowledge. They may keep on asking questions without getting the final answers. Those who know the truth and teach all mankind are prophets. Philosophers are fallible humans, Prophets are omniscient Messengers of God.
I admire philosophers and I obey the Prophets.

I wish to attain the station of a learner.

Abdul-Baha says:

This is the difference between philosophers who are Spiritual Teachers, and those who are mere philosophers: the Spiritual Teacher is the first to follow His own teaching; He brings down into the world of action His spiritual conceptions and ideals. His Divine thoughts are made manifest to the world. His thought is Himself, from which He is inseparable. When we find a philosopher emphasizing the importance and grandeur of justice, and then encouraging a rapacious monarch in his oppression and tyranny, we quickly realize that he belongs to the first class: for he thinks heavenly thoughts and does not practise the corresponding heavenly virtues.

This state is impossible with Spiritual Philosophers, for they ever express Their high and noble thoughts in actions.

HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR DAYS?

How do you spend your days?

I am learning, and the Internet satisfies my hunger for knowledge. When I face questions, I google. When I need more abundant data, I enter libraries. When I need human experience, I mix with people on social network …
It seems that 24 hours a day are not enough for me to soar up to the worlds of my dreams. So, I do some training for reading, typing and thinking faster and faster.
I wish that I can buy the time from other people who still have too much time for worrying, for suffering, for boredom. But, there is no way for buying, borrowing or accepting as gift. So, I am thinking of showing them how to use their precious hours, priceless days and most noble life.
Each and all should seek for God and God will omnisciently and omnipotently guide them. Today, all can get direct access to God, without depending on priests, tutors or guides. The words of God are freely and easily accesscible on the Internet.
Look and you will find.

Abdul-Baha says:

Alas, of what avail is it. When the weapons are in cowards’ hands, no man’s life and property are safe, and thieves only grow the stronger. When, in the same way, a far-from-perfect priesthood acquire control of affairs, they come down like a massive curtain between the people and the light of Faith.

Sincerity is the foundation-stone of faith. That is, a religious individual must disregard his personal desires and seek in whatever way he can wholeheartedly to serve the public interest; and it is impossible for a human being to turn aside from his own selfish advantages and sacrifice his own good for the good of the community except through true religious faith.

I am thankful for God’s blessings.

God keeps on bestowing on me and on mankind so many blessings that I cannot compute and express due thankfulness.
He gives love, knowledge, guidance, protection, vision for greater discoveries and more useful inventions. When a person searches for money, he may not get it. When he gets it, he may not know how to use it. When he uses it, he may not know how to earn more … But, when a man turns to God for guidance, he sees abundant bestowals and he happily shares this divine treasure to others. Sensible people have seen and kept on sharing; doubting ones keep on suffering for failure in getting money just for buying physical food!
All creatures don’t have to make money for buying food; why intelligent beings have to suffer about this temporary existence of the body?
I am thankful to God for His divine education and I remind seekers to look for Him first. Then, they will earn a life of abundance, dignity and eternal bliss.
I am thankful that human beings are intelligent beings.

God, Religion, Mankind.

I believe in the reality of One God, One Religion, One Mankind. Every day I love to think about the meaning and application of this truth, and I wish to have more friends in the service of this universal ideal. I have answered thousands of questions concerning this truth on EP and I repost with more clarification on WordPress.

We are now living in a New Cycle, when the mature human race can communicate and cooperate instantly in thoughts and in actions for world civilization.

Human activities cover thousands of aspects in which we are required to do our learning in the physical, human and divine education for efficient service.

I am having many colleagues in these activities.

Wishing you happy with your purposeful living.

Abdul-Baha says:

All the precepts of Christ deal with the knowledge of God, with the oneness of the world of humanity, the moral relations between the hearts and spiritual susceptibilities. His Holiness BAHA’O’LLAH created these merciful sentiments in the most complete form and deposited them in the hearts of men. This is in keeping with the teaching of Christ, because it is the reality and reality changes not. Is it possible to say that divine unity is divisible, or the knowledge of God, the oneness of the world of  152  humanity, universal justice, the solidarity of the human race -(Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 151)

Women’s rights are in reality men’s rights, human rights.

Immature human beings falsely thought that oppression or domination over women was good for them, while such ignorance caused injury to half of the human race, to their mothers and daughters, which delay the progress of the whole human race, with all men included!

Mature men today realize this truth, they are actively serving the cause of women advancement all over the world. We will soon see a world of unity and equality, in which all men, women, children (boys and girls) enjoying civilized inventions and facilities.

This simple truth is facing some hinderances of outdated traditions, by the power of true knowledge will win.

Unity and equality of mankind is the most simple truth.

Congratulations to your complete maturity.

Human beings today are spiritually mature at the age of 15, when they can communicate with God through prayer, meditation and fasting, e.g. they can make decisions concerning their own lives.

And at 21 they are mature administratively, intellectually and socially, e.g. they can make decisions concerning other people and the world.

If possible, you need to accomplish college graduation, or much better post-college graduation and engaging in any jobs or trades which are beneficial for you and for all mankind. That is the ideal gooal of all human beings in this New Universal Cycle.

Wishing you accomplishing a happy and useful life.
