No one knows when he will die.
This is God’s wisdom for people to live with wisdom.
All people know that they will die, without knowing when. Hence, they must wisely make preparation for their sudden death. What will they gain, what will they lose, what will be best for the loved ones they leave behind? With a little more thinking, they will realize that they gain nothing, they lose nothing, and their loved ones will be more confusing with their absence! The answer I find for myself is this: Remembrance of God at every breath.
By remembrance of God, my soul knows its eternal Refuge. My loved ones, with remembrance of God, make their own praparation to meet me again in God’s habitation. In between, we try to advance in our spiritual journey to God.

Baha’u’llah says:

And how many embodiments of purity, who showed forth naught but true knowledge and stainless deeds, suffered an agonizing death! Notwithstanding all this, each of these holy beings, up to his last moment, breathed the Name of God, and soared in the realm of submission and resignation. Such was the potency and transmuting influence which He exercised over them, that they ceased to cherish any desire but His will, and wedded their soul to His remembrance.
