If you already know the answer, why do you ask the question?

I ask the question, because truth is relative.
The earth is round, man must die, the world changes…. these are some truths that most people accept without dispute. If I say the earth is rectangular, man is immortal, the world is permanent, many people will jump on me for dispute. So, I keep on asking questions concerning all the so-called truths in order to get new insights. Today, although we have the Internet, we have profound philosophies, revealed religions which shed light on all things … people still keep on asking more and more questions.
I am happy to know that I don’t know anything. As long as I live, I will continue to wonder about the mysteries of life. And new answers will lead mankind to higher civilization.

Shoghi Effendi says:
“Divine Truth is relative and that is why we are enjoined to constantly refer the seeker to the Word itself — and why any explanations we make to ease the journey of the soul of any individual must be based on the Word — and the Word alone.”
