Jesus was Holy King of Israel; today He is Holy King of the World.
He alone is King, and all human beings are His servants.
He is Holy Spirit manifesting Himself from Age to Age to give mankind higher and higher Divine Education (with His old Name as Moses and new Name as Baha’u’llah). This is the Eternal Religion of God, eternal in the past, eternal in future.
No man can become Holy King, because he is not omniscient and omnipotent as the Holy Spirit, his Creator. He can reach the highest station of servitude like Peter, Ananda, Quddus … and continue to progress in the worlds of God. As for governing the affairs of the world, God has transfered it from individual rulers to divine institutions. The supreme and infallible Institution will secure peace on earth for millennia to come.
I am thankful to God for His blessed bestowals.

Baha’u’llah says:

Thou seest, O my God, how my tears prevent me from remembering Thee and from extolling Thy virtues, O Thou the Lord of the Throne on high and of earth below! I implore Thee by the signs of Thy Kingdom and the mysteries of Thy Dominion to do with Thy loved ones as becometh Thy bounty, O Lord of all being, and is worthy of Thy grace, O King of the seen and the unseen!

(Baha’u’llah, Baha’i Prayers, p. 13)
