TODAY WE ARE LAZIER THAN EVER?

Today, we are lazier than ever, lonelier than ever. Blame it on what? Digital age or ice age? What else is wastage?

Blame it on our thinking. It is our false thinking that causes us to be lazy, lonely, unhappy. Instead of working as servitude for a higher civilization on earth, we may falsely wish to make ourselves parasitic and outdated monarchs, and we shape our destiny in that wrong and miserable way.
I have met thousands of people who work restlessly, tirelessly, incessantly for educating children, empowering junior youth, enhancing the true knowledge of adults … and their happiness is beyond description. This is not an image in my dream, but an increasingly evident reality to all volunteers on the Path of Service.
I am thankful to God for bringing mankind to this Age of spiritual maturity. We will surely turn this world into Paradise.

Abdul-Baha says:

Today I am most happy, for I see here a gathering of the servants of God. I see the white and colored people together. In the estimation of God there is no distinction of color; all are one in the color and beauty of servitude to Him. Color is not important; the heart is all-important. It matters not what the exterior may be if the heart be pure and white within. God does not behold differences of hue and complexion; He looks at the hearts.
